What do you like best about AWS Trusted Advisor?

Trusted Advisor automatically looks at your overall infrastructure and gives you easy to read KPI's for measuring how well you are doing with cost savings, performance and security. With cloud assets growing in size, it can be difficult to keep track of where you are spending most of your funds, and which assets have any liability gaps. Trusted Advisor is a simple dashboard that uncovers this information and provides recommendations for your to remediate. We've saved thousands of dollars using Trusted Advisor's recommendations. What do you dislike about AWS Trusted Advisor?

Trusted Advisor is only enabled on an account by account basis. We have split our accounts into 3 different accounts for management purposes, but have to pay for Trusted Advisor on all three. I would like to see Amazon consolidate Trusted Advisor so we don't have to pay for it 3 times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering AWS Trusted Advisor:

Trusted Advisor makes good recommendations on instances that can be reserved up front. AWS has Reserved Instance pricing which can save up to 30% without having to put any funds down up front. This is a good way to be able to scale your costs and justify the ROI of cloud computing without putting in a team to do analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AWS Trusted Advisor solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are trying to find quick and automatic ways to save money on cloud computing, and identify any performance gaps without having to schedule our own performance testing which can be expensive from an operational stand point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
