Rather than having to manage a large number of individual VPC peering connections, Transit Gateway offers a scalable hub-and-spoke model that’s much easier to administer and maintain. I also appreciate its support for route tables, segmentation, and centralized network management, which makes it particularly useful in large, multi-account AWS environments. **What do you dislike about AWS Transit Gateway?** While Transit Gateway can greatly simplify complex networking, working with route propagation, route tables, attachments, and multi-account configurations still requires a solid grasp of AWS networking concepts. Costs can also rise as you add more attachments and as data transfer increases, so it’s important to keep an eye on usage as your setup grows. **What problems is AWS Transit Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?** AWS Transit Gateway helps solve complex network connectivity and routing challenges. For example, we had multiple VPCs hosting development, testing, production, and shared services across different AWS accounts. Rather than creating and maintaining dozens of VPC peering connections, we connected each VPC to a single Transit Gateway. With routing centralized in one place, the network became less complex, day-to-day management was simpler, and it was easier to connect our on-premises infrastructure using AWS Direct Connect and Site-to-Site VPN. Overall, this approach improved scalability and significantly reduced operational overhead. ### 2. Plus, Transit Gateway increases security with the ability to efficiently route traffic through security zones and isolate and control traffic through multiple route tables. Its pay per use so highly efficient. The AWS support is always on point whenever I want to have a limit increase or for usual stuff. **What do you dislike about AWS Transit Gateway?** Its not for beginners, the white papers are also very lengthy. The UX could improve with more cues for the end user. **What problems is AWS Transit Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me link up all my VPCs and and I also have 2 remote connections that are linked to it as well and traffic can flow from everything to everything else. This is the biggest feature for me. ### 3. And the Fully manged thing also. **What do you dislike about AWS Transit Gateway?** Alwayd checks the too much logs via VPC flow log also a bit prblamitic, While this tool incredibly beneficial but the cost also sometimes be a bit complex to predict **What problems is AWS Transit Gateway solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has resolved our escalating network complexity stemming from a rapidly growing number of VPCs and AWS accounts. Previously, managing a full mesh of VPC peerings was unsustainable and error-prone. Now, we have a simplified, scalable, and secure hub-and-spoke network. ### 4. The continuous support of the Amazon company has also helped us in the implementation of the system and general use. **What do you dislike about AWS Transit Gateway?** At the beginning the implementation can be complicated, and the constant support of the company is required to achieve it effectively.
