Systems Manage to managing loads in AWS **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2020 **What do you like best about AWS Systems Manager?** being new to AWS i wanted somewhere I could manage the patch management and remote onto my instances with session manager all in one place, using this I can able to manage all the instances I have in one area **What do you dislike about AWS Systems Manager?** there are loads of submenus in system manager , so can be a little over whelming when you first go through to this menu, and to start a session it can be annoying with the amount of click you have to do it get on the server you want to remote on **What problems is AWS Systems Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** being able to remote onto linux instances without having to use terminal or PowerShell and doing everything from inside the console ### 2. Many options including sending the logs/output to an s3. Patch Baseline feature has been really helpful in having customized patching for specific OS types. **What do you dislike about AWS Systems Manager?** There should be a way to programmatically get the OS type. As of now we can only get the os from the console. **What problems is AWS Systems Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are trying to save time in patching all our servers. This helps save time in automating our patching without manually going to each instance.
