It cannot be used for some of the No-SQL databases like MongoDB, Hbase etc. 2. This tool helps to identify the schema and complexity of database/ Data warehouse. This tool can migrate between various rdbms like oracle, Mysql, and Postgres along with migrating data to S3 and redshift. **What do you dislike about AWS Schema Conversion Tool?** I didn't find any difficulties with this tool. Rather this tool helped me a lot while migrating on-premise oracle data warehouse to Redshift that too in PB scale. I don't have any dislike for this tool. **What problems is AWS Schema Conversion Tool solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was trying to migrate our existing on-premise oracle data warehouse to AWS Redshift. As the existing warehouse was old and complex, identifying schema of whole system was difficult. SCT helped us to understand the schema and migrate the system to Redshift. ### 4. Also, not all NoSQL databases are supported. Before we manually (created EC2, and installed migration programs like from ESF Migration tools, but with AWS Schema Conversion Tool, all steps were more fast, easy and reliable. After, ran at Linux Oracle, we use again the Conversion Tool to migrate from EC2 Linux Oracle to RDS, also easy and fast. **What do you dislike about AWS Schema Conversion Tool?** Some minor issues about the converted text to blob, to should better varchar. But after the review was easy to resolve. Also, the sequencers need more adjustment. But, worked well. **What problems is AWS Schema Conversion Tool solving and how is that benefiting you?** First, convert and join two databases from MySQL and Borland Firebird to Oracle DB inside an EC2 Oracle Linux machine. Then, convert from EC2 Oracle Linux Machine to RDS Oracle. Now we're testing to Migrate those databases from RDS Oracle 12c to RDS Oracle 19c. ### 12.
