Reserved instances allow us to have capacity set in advance so that we are able to save money on non-ad hoc projects. Reporting helps us understand the utilization levels to cut or up capacity. Would like to have been able to see more of who was doing what related to instances to help settle disputes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is AWS Reserved Instance Reporting solving and how is that benefiting you? Management of AWS costs is an extremely important task for software or data crunching companies. It's hard to find cheaper processing than AWS and reserved instances and knowledge of their use help us optimize it as best as possible.
