AWS need improvement in some areas of security **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Prashant G. | Cloud Network Security, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2023 **What do you like best about AWS Key Management Service (KMS)?** AWS has good number of services which are best among all Cloud service providers for me like AWS Transist Gateway to support Hub and Spoke architecture, AWS WAF and Shield for L3,L4 & L7 attacks, AWS IAM, AWS Gurd duty, AWS Inspector etc **What do you dislike about AWS Key Management Service (KMS)?** AWS Shield advance service needs an improvement to protect from every type of DDoS attacks as it was failed twice to detect DDoS attacks and failed to protect our resources and systems where inaccessible during DDoS attack simulation **What problems is AWS Key Management Service (KMS) solving and how is that benefiting you?** AWS WAF has feature to use third party mannaged WAF rules, because which we can incorporate third party mannaged rules by key players in industry like F5, Imperva, Cloudflare. This reduses possibility of buying third party products and fully relly on AWS native WAFs. AWS Certificate manager helps us to create, manage & store custom SSL certificates of all our applications.
