Device defenders checks the security policies that are associated with our IoT devices to confirm that the devices are not attacked or manipulated by hackers . If there is a security flaw then device defender will send an alert such that we can revoke or modify the security policy . It also becomes easy to authorize and authenticate the devices that are connected through AWS IoT . **What do you dislike about AWS IoT Device Defender?** We have to define the behavior of the device and aws iot defender monitors the behavior and send alerts if something other happens than the predefined behavior . Here the thing is , after some time behavior of the device might change and than we have to define again the standard behavior for aws iot defender . **Recommendations to others considering AWS IoT Device Defender:** First understand how to create policies , endpoint for the devices so that we can define security parameters for aws iot defender . **What problems is AWS IoT Device Defender solving and how is that benefiting you?** we are checking that if any data comes from an unknown endpoint in our office iot devices . It suits most devices, but we have some that aren't supported. **Recommendations to others considering AWS IoT Device Defender:** Very useful if you're already using AWS services.
