"Secure Access with Flexible Control"

What do you like best about AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)?

I appreciate the most is its fine-grained access control flexibility, allowing me to define permissions at a very detailed level and manage who can do what on buckets or prefix levels. Another thing I like the most is AWS IAM's temporary credentials support model, which adds value to automation by utilizing short-lived credentials, thereby reducing the risk of exposure and enhancing security. "Seamless AWS Integration with Granular Access Control and Strong Auditing"
5/5
What do you like best about AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)?

What I like about AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) is how seamlessly it works with all AWS services. It offers granular permissions, supports MFA, and makes it easy to use roles for centralized access management. I also appreciate the strong auditing capabilities through CloudTrail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)?

IAM policies rely on a JSON-based approach that can feel opaque to beginners and even to experienced engineers. It’s difficult to visualize who has access to what, and small misconfigurations can carry major security implications. Overall, navigating IAM still feels dated.
