Instead of setting up protections individually, our security team can define policies once and enforce them consistently across the entire organization. This becomes even more valuable in larger AWS environments, where strong governance and standardized security controls are essential. **What do you dislike about AWS Firewall Manager?** This service delivers the most value in multi-account AWS environments. In smaller deployments, though, the setup effort and ongoing policy-management overhead can feel unnecessary. Getting comfortable with policy inheritance and remediation actions also takes some familiarity with AWS security services. Troubleshooting policies can be challenging at times, especially when multiple AWS security services are interacting. Figuring out why a resource is marked non-compliant may require looking across AWS Config, WAF, Organizations, and Firewall Manager policies together to see how they combine. **What problems is AWS Firewall Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** AWS Firewall Manager helps address centralized security governance challenges. We use Firewall Manager to enforce AWS WAF policies across multiple application environments. Rather than manually configuring web application firewall rules for every load balancer and CloudFront distribution, Firewall Manager can automatically apply standardized security policies. As a result, it reduced manual effort, improved compliance, and helped ensure consistent security controls across environments. In another use case, we used it to enforce security group policies to prevent overly permissive inbound access across AWS accounts. ### 2. When we were working with multiple resources it helped us to maintain the account of those resources 2. By giving the unique tags to each resources it not only helped in maintaining the client level security but also added advantage to uniquely identify each resources 3. It also helps in automating the tidious tasks like tagging the resources automatically ( when it was specified from our end ) **What do you dislike about AWS Firewall Manager?** As we know that it is the AWS so it would have been dealing with EC2 instance and this itself is a limitation as default limit per region - 20 which seems less when our team wanted to work with more regions ( multiple resources from different regions ) Though if you can work under this limitation then security wise it is the game changer. **Recommendations to others considering AWS Firewall Manager:** The only limitation i came across is it was not being able to deal with multiple regions (<20) so if this not the case with anyone of you then i will strongly recommend that this security management tool - AWS firewall manager can help a lot in productivity and saving time. **What problems is AWS Firewall Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?** Because of the size of the organisation and having resources from different regions we needed a security management system then we came across AWS firewall manager and it helped us to solve the management things by automating most of the stuff by itself which helped us to maintain the productivity in the project ### 3. There are little timeframes in booting the and deploying AWS firewall manager.
