- Let me start by saying that the thing I dislike the most applies to the classic load balancer, which was the one used for my application needs. I did not use or have any experience with either their newest "Application Load Balancer" or the "Network Load Balancer". That said, the load balancer works great under continuous, non-spikey traffic but fails to accommodate instantaneous spikes in network requests.
