EBS provides services to run our code on AWS cloud . AWS Elastic Beanstalk takes care of deploying, maintenace of machines and that too at low costs. The service not very stable. We have a lot of times, when the instances are restarted by Elastic Beasntalk, and the application deployment process looks easy, but there are a lot of obstacles. The event and logging system is not very communicative and it's much harder to investigate what happens with the service comparing to just working with EC2, LBs, TGs. One challenge we faced in the past is the limited control when it comes to some of the infrastructure details or the available versions of the runtime environments. It became unclear how much money we would spend on scaling the app, once it bloats with many customers, and auto scaling has its price. moreover, i evaluated changing a deployment service would cost much, if comes the day we need to replace the architecture, due to the tight coupling between our app and the infra.
