"MOST SECURED CERTIFICATE"
5/5
What do you like best about AWS Certificate Manager?

Glad to say it's free service offered by aws for Aws Cloud resources. Easy intigration and validation also very simple. We can also attach single certificate for so many domains as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Certificate Manager?

If we have export option also that will be more helpful for future reference. Nothing to dislike but most of the time we love to use aws acm only so happy for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and elegant solution for working with AWS Cloud"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AWS Certificate Manager?

Ease of use - very user-friendly interface to create and manage certificates needed to secure connections and integrations, especially to other AWS services.

Effectively solves the issues around integrating within AWS, importing external keys and certificates, allowing us to implement SSL on AWS services.

As an added bonus, public certificates are also free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Certificate Manager?

Lack of automatic domain verification.

Limited to AWS managed services only.

Cannot find a way to generate automatic notification of certificate expiry, which seems like a fairly obvious feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease deploying SSL certificate on need basis"
5/5
What do you like best about AWS Certificate Manager?

When I want to deploy certificate on internal and external servers or sites, it just clicks away where you can configure the digital signature easily and will not impact much and will be deployed easily cost effective also Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Certificate Manager?

For older versions of windows like XP, it does not support SSL, hence needs to configure fix IP which attracts extra and sometime may not be cost effective and also requires custom certificate configuration Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AWS Certificate Manager?

The best feature is we don't need to spend our time configuring SSL with domain manually. you can pass cert-manager name with the AWS ELB or any other AWS service like S3, ECS and your site will be protected with SSL Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Certificate Manager?

There is no option to import your AWS certificate and reuse it in any other place Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AWS Certificate manager: SSL certificate management"
4/5
What do you like best about AWS Certificate Manager?

Very easy to integrate with other AWS services i.e. Cloudfront, ElasticBeanstalk etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Certificate Manager?

It doesn't support automatic domain verification with other domain name services.

Limited to AWS only, Certificates issued by ACM can be used with AWS managed services only.

If your infrastructure is multi region then you'll need to issue SSL certificate for a single domain in each region. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Works really good with the services but missing the automation when a cert is needed on a instance"
3.5/5
What do you like best about AWS Certificate Manager?

It works really nice with managed services such as api gateway and elastic / application load balancer. You get renewal automated with notifications when you have setup the trust between the service and route53 so you dont need to bother with certificate expire Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Certificate Manager?

When using instance its not easy (or possible out of the box) to get a certificate on a ec2 instance or docker containers, you need to use managed services Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and effective way for manage certificate in AWS"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AWS Certificate Manager?

excellent certificate service provided by AWS, we just need to request the certificate for a Route53 domain from AWS and do validating our domain then it will be ready for use for free, We could use this certificate to enable SSL in our AWS Load balancer and AWS Cloud Front services. It supports auto-renew the certificate so reduce our effort on manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Certificate Manager?

We could not use this cert for our application running in EC2, the validating process is a little confusing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easiest way of creating a SSL certificate"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AWS Certificate Manager?

This Certificate can be used with any Rout53 DNS provider to host a secure HTTPS website,

The setup and validation process are simple,

AWS gives two type of validations, email validation and DNS validation in which we just have to add a Rout53 entry to get the certificate validated,

to use it we can just add this received certificate in the ELB,

over all the process of setting up and using is simple Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Certificate Manager?

the waiting time for the certificate is huge, if i have to make a immediate domain name change for my website then its not going to happen

and If i am having a domain in AWS and i am requesting for a certificate for it, shouldn't it be immediate why should we go through the validation step , because the domain name provider is AWS it self Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast and secure certificates at AWS"
4/5
What do you like best about AWS Certificate Manager?

What I like most about this service is how easy it is to create an ssl certificate which we can use for any server, and the way it integrates with other services amazon web services is very good because it greatly simplifies its application. Besides, I don't have to pay for the certificates and they are updated automatically saving us a lot of problems.

And to have your domain registered or managed with route53 is easier because it creates the registration in your dns automatically, simplifying even more its usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Certificate Manager?

I find it a very useful tool and easy to use, I have no major drawbacks only that using several regions becomes a bit tedious because you need to create a certificate for each of the regions in which you have hosted resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
