Some CSV files were choppy to import or download. I typically use the live chat feature and they respond very quickly. Also, I do get an affiliate payment for anyone I refer to Aweber and decides to continue after the 30 day trial which is nice. **What do you dislike about AWeber?** As I am a digital marketer I have found that Aweber is quite difficult setting up a new list that reference anything about making money online even though the business is reputable. Mailchimp, one of AWeber's competitors, offers their services for free if you have under a certain amount of subscribers. It's easy to upload lists and add new subscribers. It is easy to clean up the lists as well. It serves well if you're looking a way to send out simple emails for a large list. It's also nice to be able to switch between multiple lists to see only the emails that have been sent to a certain list. In other platforms, this has been an issue. **What do you dislike about AWeber?** I've used quite a few other email platforms for mass emails and I have found that AWeber doesn't offer as much customization with creating emails. I like to create my own format for emails, and it's a little more difficult in AWeber than some other platforms. It's more of a basic service. I also am not impressed with the home page for the sole reason of not having the key things that I like to see when I first get to a landing page. This is more of a personal preference. **Recommendations to others considering AWeber:** If you are looking for a simple service, then check AWeber out. It's competitively priced compared to other platforms. If you're looking for something with more customization, I would suggest trying something else. **What problems is AWeber solving and how is that benefiting you?** We need a way to email out newsletters and promotions to large lists of clients. We use AWeber as an alternative to our company email platform to send out image-driven emails. I didn't like that there was no way to do automations within the system. It can be hard to find things some times. It's cheaper than ConvertKit. **What do you dislike about AWeber?** I had some issues with the cache on all web browsers. It wouldn't let me create new broadcasts which was a big issue. The view when creating the email sequences was cut off and I had to zoom out my screen to -70 or -80%. Email sequences was in beta at the time though. **Recommendations to others considering AWeber:** I think AWeber is a great option if you aren't ready to use a pricier email marketing platform. It's a little more complex than MailChimp so there's a slight learning curve. Start out with the free trial so that you can see if it's right for you. **What problems is AWeber solving and how is that benefiting you?** It takes care of email delivery and opt-in delivery. ### 38. I love their simple email editor and from my experience their customer service is amazing! **What do you dislike about AWeber?** I didn't like the designs. I couldn't find a design I loved and that I felt was worthy of my brand. Also their autoresponders didn't have as many options. Like I couldn't get specific enough like I could with similar autoresponder email programs. **What problems is AWeber solving and how is that benefiting you?** It really opened our eyes to what we could do with email marketing. However we found some issues like design and autoresponder options with the program and have moved on to other programs. Maybe it has changed since we last were there but I'm not sure it was still in late 2016 when we finally ended it. ### 40. User interface is also intuitive. **What do you dislike about AWeber?** Although templates are abundant, some may be outdated. Follow up messages cannot be exported out easily. I had to move them manually. **Recommendations to others considering AWeber:** Aweber is a very robust platform that does exactly what it says. Users will find everything from sending autoresponders to creating a template very simple. Having said that it's a bit on the pricey side for beginners or for those with less than 1000 subscribers. There are cheaper alternatives that also provide similar services. Aweber probably needs to have a price revamp if they want to stay competitive. **What problems is AWeber solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm trying to grow my list and find that Aweber does this effectively. I will often need to switch browsers twice for every template I create just to get all of the functionality to work properly. Specifically saving templates without overriding my previous work. Other things like the curser will sometimes overlap the graphic of the previous module meaning I can't click on it. I'll need to change my resolution to edit text. After the set up learning curve (some tasks are not very intuitive there) I found a lot of value in the product. The customers service was always there to guide me through the things I had trouble with. I made a series of auto responders for an ecourse I launched, that saved me a lot of time, and I couldn't get that feature anywhere else I looked. **What do you dislike about AWeber?** Newsletter templates and design are not as user friendly as I'd like. **What problems is AWeber solving and how is that benefiting you?** Auto responders cut down my hands on time with business. ### 46. I hate that big link. It looks like spam and is unappealing and confusing. I've considered switching to MailChimp because of this for a long time. I wish the sign up with Facebook option were more visually appealing.
