"Personalized Recognition with Powerful Features, But a Learning Curve for New Users"
4/5
What do you like best about Awardco?

How it combines meaningful recognition with real choice. Instead of one-size-fits-all rewards, employees can choose what actually matters to them through Amazon, making recognition feel personal and practical.

I also really admire Awardco’s culture-first approach—recognition isn’t treated as a perk, but as a core driver of engagement, retention, and performance. Pairing that philosophy with a platform that’s simple, scalable, and integrates cleanly with tools like HRIS systems shows a strong balance of heart and execution.

Finally, Awardco’s focus on transparency and fairness—especially around service awards and milestone recognition—stands out. It helps companies celebrate people in a way that feels consistent, authentic, and aligned with their values. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Awardco?

A fair drawback of Awardco is that, because it’s such a robust and customizable platform, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first—especially for smaller teams or organizations that are newer to structured recognition programs. There’s a learning curve in figuring out the best way to configure budgets, programs, and approvals so it doesn’t become overengineered.

Another potential downside is that the Amazon-based rewards model, while incredibly flexible, can feel slightly impersonal if companies rely too heavily on transactions and not enough on the why behind the recognition. Without strong manager participation and messaging, recognition can risk becoming “points for purchases” rather than a meaningful moment.

Lastly, for organizations with tight budgets, the pricing structure may feel like a stretch compared to simpler recognition tools—particularly if they aren’t fully leveraging all of Awardco’s features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Peer Recognition and Morale Booster"
5/5
What do you like best about Awardco?

I appreciate Awardco’s ease of use and the wide variety of items that our award points can be used for. I love the recognition feed where people get seen daily for their achievements, which is a boost for morale when the job gets tough. Our feed is active all day with peer reviews and management recognizing their people, which is great for morale and shows people they are seen for their hard work. What do you dislike about Awardco?

It could potentially do a better job on providing shipping and tracking information on items ordered with points. Currently, it doesn't send an email or notification on physical items that are ordered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tangible Recognition into Real Choices."
5/5
What do you like best about Awardco?

What I like most about Awardco is that the points feel genuinely useful. I can turn them into gift cards and actually use them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Awardco?

I love how meaningful it feels to receive Awardco points, but I wish I had more opportunities to give them too. Recognition works best when it flows both ways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Rewards with Minor Card Limitations"
5/5
What do you like best about Awardco?

I really like using Awardco because it gives me flexibility and an abundance of choices when selecting gift cards or other items. I usually opt for gift cards, and they are readily available, allowing me to shop for food, flowers, tools, and much more. The initial setup is also super easy on my end. I just make a selection at work and enter the email address I want my gift card sent to, which is really convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Awardco?

I selected the cash Visa cards once and found they have a time limit for use, which makes it a bit harder to use all the funds. Some places don’t allow you to use multiple cards if the cash card does not cover the full purchase. So I ended up leaving money on the card and then it expires. "Encouragement Made Easy with Awardco"
5/5
What do you like best about Awardco?

I find Awardco valuable because it helps me encourage coworkers casually and show appreciation. I really enjoy being able to give and receive points, which allows for open and official recognition of my coworkers. The ability to accumulate points and purchase items from other sites is a nice feature. The initial setup wasn't difficult, which made getting started with Awardco easier. What do you dislike about Awardco?

It would be nice to know the scales of points to give when recognizing others. I can give one 10 points but it shows that 'available points are 75 points'. It sounds like I can give all 75 points to one person, but that did not work. It would be helpful if there were options of points to give, such as 5 points, 10 points, or knowing what's the max points I can give. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Recognition with Fun Features"
5/5
What do you like best about Awardco?

I like that Awardco is easy to use and I can use emojis and GIFs that are already built in. The assigning of points that equate to money for shopping is a definite plus. I also appreciate the availability to share thank yous company-wide, so other people can have acknowledgment and assist with giving congratulatory settlements to others. This makes it really valuable to me because I don't have to go outside the platform to build up the message I'm sending to my colleagues, and the points for shopping are a great benefit for those who feel very much rewarded for their good work or different types of work. It really allows them to feel appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Awardco?

I would say the one thing that maybe could be improved is being able to use AI to actually craft my messages within the experience. I have to go outside and use ChatGPT or some other resource to craft my messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how simple it is. The website is easy to navigate and delivery is seamless. The options are super extensive as well. I've never had a job that partnered with Awardco until now and it definitely makes me feel seen and appreciated in an individualized way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Awardco?

When searching for items to use my points on, it would nice to be able to access reviews. Since so many items are duplicates of each other, I want to make sure I am getting something of quality rather than a knockoff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
