## Award Force Reviews
  ### 1. Using Award Force: Literary Awards

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex W. | CBCA Awards Co-Convenor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

The userinterface is clear and helpful in guiding what we need to see.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

The default for the number of enties goes to the smallest number.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is making the work of book judging to be a collaborative one that makes working with others very effective.

  ### 2. Good platform for our awards which we having been utilising for many years.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suzie K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

I find that the most helpful thing about AwardForce to be that it saves all previous registrants data, as well as all category information. This is especially helpful being able to just copy from previous events - for ease of set up.
Being the singular person in the organisation to set up and run this system, the customer sucess team, especially Sean Judd, is extremely helpful and quick to respond, making the process a lot easier.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

The platform can be very clunky and disjointed in parts. Finding the areas to edit on the system can prove difficult sometimes.
I also think there are a lot more features that could be incorporated, making the system more seamless.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have an awards event every year and this platform is where we gather all of our entry data. We also manage the judging system through the platform mostly.

  ### 3. Great product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abraham H. | Career counselor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

They were so efficient in their setup aI always receive an excellent service from your customer support. A great follow up and understanding of our need are always provided.

It is always a nice experience contacting your customer service team.

Great job 😊
nd runing the plate form.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

All Good. I could not find and setback on your product

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy scoring process

  ### 4. A powerfull and interesting platform but unfortunately limited for our type of competition

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

It encompasses many different opportunities (promotion, communication, judging, registration, billing ...) on one tool.
Once you've put your head in it's pretty easy to set up.
It is user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

I wish we could change the notes directly on the main window (VIP judging) so that we can judge multiple entrants at the same time.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- easy registering entrants
- allowing the entrants to see their grades
- being able to offer payment directly on one platform
- keeping track of the seasons in the database to analyse data through the dashboard

  ### 5. Award Force is okay, but it's a pain to set up and use

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

You can set up judging for nominations within the platform. The explainer videos within the platform are useful.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

The UI in Award Force feels like it has not been updated in 10 years. The tool is not intuitive and take a lot of time to set up.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Award Force to manage an annual customer award program. The platform allows us to collect nominations and assign them out to our judges.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear about your experience. We're always working to improve our software, and we hope we can help make the process easier for you. Our support team is always here to assist. Please reach out if we can ever help! - Lindsay

  ### 6. Makes life easier for users and judges.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

Intuitive, easy to upload links and materials.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

Sometimes the system doesn’t remember me.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AwardForce makes life easier for entrants and judges because of its simplicity. Best platform I’ve used over the decades. It makes it more likely that I’ll enter more than once.

  ### 7. Very impressed based on a first-time user

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

What stood out to me the most about Award Force was the customer service. From end to end, the support team were dependable, knowledgeable, and attentive. A special mention to Karen who was incredibly patient and understanding whenever we needed her help, and really helped unpack our objectives and build a judging platform from the ground up. Without her, things couldn't have gone as smoothly.

The app itself is well-featured with everything you might need to run a successful judging competition. It was easy to navigate through the screens, which were consistently designed, accessible, and easy to use.

I wasn't part of the integration process, so I cannot comment on this, but from afar it didn't look complicated. The help documentation is comprehensive and breaks down the steps to anything you're looking to achieve.

We heavily leaned into the tagging system to sort our projects, but whether this was the right direction to take or not, it worked well for us, and this was backed by Karen's expertise.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

Some of the button options are too rigid. For example, we had a judging stage whereby three options where needed to choose from: 'certificate', 'premier', and 'neither'. However, we could only achieve something along these lines with a boolean 'yes / no' selection, and fall back to the comments section for the 'neither' option. So a multiple choice would have been useful here.

Rearranging the gallery by ID, name, or other metadata would have been useful. We had a video call between all judges, and trying to share an 'overview' of the entries was difficult when it's only the gallery's small mason grid to go by, all sorted in a random order. I'd suggest giving the moderator the ability to blow this grid up, similar to the slideshow option.

And regarding the slideshow, please give the moderator the option to slideshow one entry at a time. I got around this by appending '/slideshow' before the query in the address bar, and creating multiple tabs for each project entry so I could move between them whilst screensharing, because I didn't want to reply on the 'global' slideshow showing the project in an order that it dictated... sometimes we jumped between projects.

Oh, and that's another thing. The user journey / flow for screensharing to an audience in order to discuss could be a bit more considered (maybe using the above points?). For example, at the start of each project, or at the bottom of the screen, it would be nice to have the project name and description as a prompt / reminder of the context of the project in discussion.

Regarding the database entry filtering, filtering by multiple tags might be nice.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The organisation of judging hundreds of projects over many rounds by many judges.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Thank you for sharing such detailed and thoughtful feedback on your experience with Award Force! We are thrilled to hear that our support team provided you with exceptional support throughout your journey. And, we appreciate your suggestions for improvements, such as more flexibility in button options and enhanced features for organising and presenting entries during judging. Your insights are valuable to us, and we will certainly take them into consideration for future updates. If you have any further suggestions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out to us. We are here to help and ensure your experience with Award Force continues to be positive and successful. - Lindsay

  ### 8. Making our complex award programme manageable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

Award Force is so, so easy to set up and use. Takes a little while to get used to, but once you know what you're doing, it's brilliant! I love the flexibility and how helpful the whole team are - they're super responsive and always provide useful feedback and/or support. They'll jump on calls or will record a short video to help whenever I've needed it.

This is the first time we've used Award Force, but it definitely won't be the last!

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

Not being able to edit the questions in the 'start here' tab. Also, we've had to set up a 'finish here' tab as during testing our users kept hitting 'save + next' after completing all tabs rather than 'submit nomination'

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are launching our first ever group wide awards, open to all colleagues across our international business. This means we need to have categories open to some but not all colleagues, need several languages, around 65 different judging panels and need colleagues on different domains to have easy access.

We were using Microsoft Forms for awards at a smaller scale, but that was a challenge to manage. We could never have delivered a successful awards programme without Award Force.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Hi! We're thrilled to hear you've found Award Force easy to set up and use, and that our team was able to provide helpful support. We appreciate your feedback about the 'start here' tab and the 'finish here' tab, and we'll consider that for future improvements. We're so glad to hear that Award Force has been instrumental in launching your first-ever international group-wide awards! - Lindsay

  ### 9. Review Sean Judd

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony A. | Program manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

Incredible customer support. I would like to single out Sean Judd as being exceptionally helpful. I had three separate 45 minute sessions with him to work through our judging flow. Each time he gladly took more time than allocated and patiently walked me through all the steps. He has a very professional and friendly manner.

Please praise him publically for his good work!

Tony from the holtzbrinck wisspreis team.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

I am generally very happy with the product.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining our awards process.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Hi Tony! Thank you for recognising Sean's outstanding support. We will definitely share your feedback with him and the rest of the team. We appreciate your kind words and are glad to hear that Award Force is meeting your needs. Thanks for the review! - Lindsay

  ### 10. Smooth and easy experience. Has been a user for 4 years.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kay Ying L. | Senior Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

I like the different types of judging methods and support system.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

Audience choice seems unfriendly - non public voting, limited login access.

Perhaps notifications and broadcast can be reconsidered as one?

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to ease the proccess of one of our programme, and for our winners to submit, jurors to judge.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Hi Kay Ying! Thank you so much for being a loyal Award Force user and for sharing your positive experience! We appreciate your feedback, and I've included a link below were you can read more about what's possible with our public voting option. While we don't allow unregistered users to vote to help protect the integrity of public voting, there are lots of options to allow public voting with safeguards. ### 11. Easy to use for registrants and staff

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

I like that it's quite easy to use and straightforward to set up the process

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

I woud like to be able to search for companies regsistered not just via emails but be able to pull the list easily.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Setting up a secure and easyt to use awards process

  ### 12. AwardForce has worked for many of our clients

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kori S. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

It's easy to use and figure out and our entrants love it too

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

We have two scoresheets that need to be combined to find a winner and it's a huge pain that the system can't combine the scores on its own. We have to export and add the scores together ourselves.

It also causes us a lot of headaches that you can't search by something WITHOUT a certain tag

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saving us time with a simple platform

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Hi Kori! We're so glad to hear that you find Award Force easy to use and that your entrants love it too. Thanks for your feedback on the scoresheets and the tagging. We're happy to report that our product team has plans to improve search functionality with the ability to exclude tags. Stay tuned! Thank you again for the kind review. - Lindsay

  ### 13. Perfect award software for program managers, entrants, and judges!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

Customizable structure for entry and judging made for a seamless transition from our previous methods and a much improved experience for our users. We have been using AwardForce for a few cycles now and it has saved us days worth of work and coordination between different agencies. Game changing

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

There is not much that I don't like about AwardForce but if I had to be critical, I would say that I have some difficulty finding and navigating the administrator tools that I need. For example, where I go to start a new cycle.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem AwardForce has solved for us is the problem we were having with connecting the judges with the entries. Our old processes were tedious, unreliable, and took hours, if not days, of coordination between multiple organizations to accomplish. AwardForce provides us with a central place for reliable entry storage and colloboration, effectively cutting out the middleman and ensuring a seamless flow from entry through judging.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> We're thrilled to hear that Award Force has been a game changer for your organisation, saving you time and improving the experience for your users! Thank you for the kind review. - Lindsay

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

Intuitive and easy to use. Menu is easy to follow and speed of help desk system is great

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

Niggles with set up and not always as felxible as we need with reporting

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One stop shop for awards set up and judging

  ### 15. Award Force

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

Clear user interface. Easy to recover forgotten password.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

Finding some admin features are a bit hidden and sometimes hard to find.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tool is a place to document the award interviews. I don't personally use the software for anything else.

  ### 16. Not sure how our awards would work without it!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

It's a simple, centralised system for managing an awards programme.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

Simplistic format of broadcasts. Could benefit from a calendar feature with built-in administrator reminders (upcoming deadlines etc.)

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A comprehensive service for managing awards from entry stage through to judging.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> We're glad to hear you find Award Force to be a simple and centralised system for managing your awards! We appreciate your feedback about the broadcast feature and will take it into consideration for future improvements. Thanks for the review! - Lindsay

  ### 17. Award Force Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

I have found the whole process really well planned. There is always someone available to answer questions quickly and the answers are thoroughly explained. I like that there is no limit put on the amount of help available. My contact Karen Jakobsen is so helpful and friendly.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

I honestly have nothing negative to say, in an ideal world I'd be able to book a face to face call with my contact the next day, that is the only reason I haven't scored it 10/10 but I know this is not realistic.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to keep everything in one place and tracking is easy. It's also easier for people to enter.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you've had a positive experience with our team and platform, and we're glad it's making your entry process easier! We appreciate your support and kind review. - Lindsay

  ### 18. Trouble downloading entry spreadsheet

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

It has a lot of fantastic features and is very easy to use. Fast and detailed support whenever I have any issues with the platform.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

There isn't really anything I dislike about the platform.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to run our gala and mid-year events with ease.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Hi! Thanks so much for your review. We're so glad you're enjoying the features of Award Force and our fast and detailed support! We're more than happy to help with downloading your entry spreadsheet. Please see the link below on our "Ultimate guide to exports" or reach out to our support team any time. We're here to help! - Lindsay

  ### 19. A comprehensive awards platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

It covers all apsects of award submissions and judging.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

The interface is in desperate need of updating. It feels dated.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing the awards submission process, and the judging process.

  ### 20. Amazing customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

The upside of Award Force is that you count with an army of amazing people that provides technical support and help, sharing best practices and practical tips. You get almost inmmediate help for your specific need, and they often provide you with a personalized video explaining the exact solution for you.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

I would like the API to be a bit more complete.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Award Force solves managing thousands of applications, filtering them and coordinating dozens of judges and easily assigning them their taks. Progress is easily monitored and information is centralized. With the API we've been able to create our own dashboard that can extract information in real time and provide us valuable statistics.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> We're thrilled to hear you've found our customer support team helpful and responsive. We understand the importance of a comprehensive API and will continue to work on enhancing its capabilities. Stay tuned for more new features and improvements! - Lindsay

  ### 21. Comprehensive awards platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

Once you know your way around the platform it is easy to use, the customer service whilst I was still in my learning phase and troubleshooting was phenomenal

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

It is a little overwhelming to begin with - some of the customising of the functions isn't immediately obvious - eg the Broadcast message, I initially only wanted to send to selected users however it went to all of them even though I had only selected a few - I received a lot of confused phonecalls after that

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We dont have a very good CRM, so for a big event it collates everything in one place

  ### 22. Efficient and thorough service that is extremely user friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlotte H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

The system is extremely user friendly and there is an answer to pretty much everything on the 'Help Centre'. I found the theme configuration guide the most useful. The best part of Award Force is how customisable everything is and how easy it is to download and export data.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

It takes a while to get used to navigating the site as a program manager and although the 'Help Centre' is very useful it can be quite overwhelming initially as there is so much information. The same goes for configuring the theming as there are SO many colours you can change.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous award entry system was a manual form that entrants had to complete which was a nightmare! Award Force removes the manual element when collating so many entries into one place, which has freed up SO much time for myself. The system is a huge game changer from our entrants perspective too as they can save and come back to their entry at any time, whereas they would have to fill this out on a separate word document previously and copy and paste their answers onto our clunky online survey. The fact that the Award Force also has the ability for entrants to upload their images and photos to their entry is fantastic. Previously entrants were required to email these over via Dropbox or WeTransfer - it was a nightmare!! Lastly, another brilliant thing about Award Force is that it prevents entrants from being able to skip questions and have to be chased by us to complete their entry properly. Now we have Award Force, we will never look back!! The system brings our awards into the 21st century and helps heighten the profile of our awards too.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Hi Charlotte! Thank you so much for this kind review! We're thrilled to hear Award Force has saved you so much time and has gotten rid of all that pesky manual work! We're also happy that our Help Centre has come in handy for you--especially with so many theming options. Thank you again for the review and trusting Award Force to help power your awards!

  ### 23. Amazing team of people always ready to help.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

The best part of AF is the people behind it. This elevates a reasonably good software platform to one that becomes very productive, easy to run and fun to work with. The support team know how to use the tools in creative ways to achieve things that seem impossible.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

Sometimes the platform seems unstable and lacks tools (e.g. duplicating questions, ) that would help a lot. The API provides many possibilties and would be great if would be further expanded, for example in order to add new questions to forms. Documentation is not so straitghfoward.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it provides a platform that can manage users and entries in a convenient way for an international audience. Makes it easy to put it online or offline, get specific information via the API, allow judges to work with simple scoring tools, work with translations, and manyother things. The second time you need to use it, everything is reusable so things become easier, faster and you can focus in improving the forms, the flow, etc.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Thank you so much for the kind words about our people and support team. We love to help our clients! Thank you also for mentioning the API - we'll be adding more API endpoints and webhooks this year and have big plans to expand our integration offerings. Stay tuned! :)

  ### 24. Great platform to track and evaluate competition applications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

We've been using Award Force for the application process of the Social Entrepreneurship Competition in Tourism since 2021 and we continue to use it during 2024's edition as well.

It is a great platform to receive and track applications, to include Jury members that evaluate those applications, and to have an overview of the general application process.

After the inital setup in 2021 where we needed some more help getting familiar with the platform, it is now more easy to replicate the process for the future ediitons.

The broadcast option allows us to send email newsletters to different groups – either all or chosen applicants, jury members, or other users.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

It would be great to be able to create some visual reports from the applications data such as applications by country, by gender, or other filters. As far as I can see, now it is only possible to export data in excel CVS file.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking and evaluating large number of applications in one space.

  ### 25. Prompt customer service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

The team at Awards Force are very responsive and helpful. No request is too difficult.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

Having to book in a meeting in advance and not being able to call a support number for a quick question which it is timely.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Awards force have been helping me find easier ways to do judging assignments.

  ### 26. Business-Changing for the better!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

AwardForce is a three pronged success for us: smooth sailing to receive applications, easy judging and tracking, and customer service that is wildly responsive. It was also so easy to get set up, we were ready to go in just a few hours.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

It's expensive, but worth it for the features available. Otherwise, no complaints.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed both a secure portal for grant applications, and to deeply streamline the committee judging experience. Taking BOTH of those pieces off our teams plate has significantly opened our time to focus on strategy.

  ### 27. Awardforce - an essential tool for any Awards Manager

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

AwardForce is an essential tool for managing awards seamlessly! The user-friendly interface, robust submission management system, make it easy to use and provide valuable insights. The customer support is exceptional, making it a highly recommended tool for any organisation looking to streamline their awards management process. My favourite feature is the ability to clone the previous season, so no need to copy and paste information and the pre-launch check completed by the Award Force team provided me with confidence to launch the new season coupled with improvements. Very happy with the ROI on this software; more entries, happy judges and one less stressed event manager!

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

One of the main challenges I encountered was the platform's use of unfamiliar jargon, i.e 'season' is an awards timeframe and scoares (still not sure what this means!). Improvements in this area could make the platform more accessible and user-friendly for a broader range of users.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paperless entry process which has resulted in a professional look and feel whilst providing a user friendly experience for entrants. Happy entrants = more entrants!

  ### 28. If you run competitions or awards this software is ideal!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

The support we get from Sean has been amazing. The software is easy to use, and once you understand what it can deliver, it's really good value for money.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

It has just taken a little while to understand each area; once you do, it is great, but there is a lot to take in.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To help us deliver online awards that are robust and easy to use from an assessor's point of view.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Hi Andy!Thank you for your positive feedback! We're delighted to hear that you find Award Force ideal for running competitions and awards. We're pleased that Sean has provided amazing support and that you find the software easy to use. We appreciate your support! - Lindsay

  ### 29. Great Programme

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

This is my first year using Awards Force and I've been really impressed with the intuitive nature of the system. It's very flexible and I can access data and statistics to analyse very easily. I like thw way I can email out to applicants via the system. Our judging panels can log in easily and work through the nominations.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

I haven't found any downsides although I'm only new to the system.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All nominations are in one spot, but listed in their various categories, rather than us gathering nominations and having to sort them. Saves so much time.

  ### 30. Excellent customer service and sleek design

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

The incredibly helpful support team who have been able to assist me on every question, with such quick turnaround. The platform itself is so easy to use. As someone who is not very technical I was able to set up the full awards system within a week. Being able to slot in any type of question needed is greatly helpful. The application form we use has a variety of different elements which on print can be confusing for the applicant, but incredibly straightforward via Award Force.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

There's not much that I dislike about Award Force. One thing that could be made clearer is the colour theming and what each colour relates to.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to oversee a large number of applications at once, and make entering the awards quicker and easier, hopefully leading to an increase in entries.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you've had such a positive experience with our support team and find the platform easy to use. Thank you for your feedback! - Lindsay

  ### 31. We have been using Award Force since 2017

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

Award Force has always been quick to respond to our inquiries, which can sometimes be rather overwhelming, especially when the submission and/or judging deadlines are around the corner. Their global team work around the clock to help us solve problems big or small. They never losetheir patience in addressing our questions.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

The discount code and making changes after the Awards entry has its limitations.

We were also informed of a standard 5% increase YoY in the fees, which is difficult for a small not for profit organization to justify.

We hope Award Force can frequently update the platform with new features to address new challenges that come up in the new awards season. Some procedural steps could be rather burdensome or inflexible, and the payment system would sometimes run into glitches.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping our annual awards submissions entry and judging.

  ### 32. A platform to manage applications

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

Award Force has nice interface for applicants and judges, which makes filling up a form less painful. It's font size, colours, and placement of content is engaging.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

It is more complicated for the backend users, as settings are not as straightforward and requires proper studying of the backend settings to fully utilise the platform.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It takes a while to study the platform and we do not have a dedicated person from Award Force for support. We have used other platforms before where a dedicated person is assigned to support us in case we need urgent help. Unfortunately Award Force relies on us knowing how to master the platform settings.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Hi! Thank you for sharing your experience. We're so glad to hear that you've found the interface user-friendly for applicants and judges. We also understand the importance of having dedicated support. We're focussed on providing 24x5 support via a common inbox instead of a designated “point of contact” so that you and the rest of our client base are never dependent on a single agent’s availability. We strategically hire across the globe to ensure you never have to wait more than an hour for a response. When one of our agents wraps up their day, someone else is just starting--so you can get the help you need. Please reach out any time. We look forward to helping you and your awards program succeed! - Lindsay

  ### 33. Highly recommend for Awards program management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carla B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

Our experience with Award Force has made running our awards program each year seamless. Once you have done the hard yards setting up your program, the platform is simple to manage. What I love most is how accessible, knowledgeable and responsive the team are - no question is too silly and responses are quick. It's very personalised. I've reccomended Award Force to no less than 4 of their current customers.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

When starting out it takes a little time to get your head around how to format your program, but once you are more familiar it becomes more intuitive.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It simplifies the process, and eliminates additional leg work we've be required to do. It also prevents score tampering, looks slick, and provides a credible place for entry.

  ### 34. Great system to manage our awards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

Awards Force has allowed us to automate our judging and nomination process, and simply the awards administrative burden. We have small team so this has been a pleasure.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

If you dont set up the shortcuts correctly, it can be cumbersome to update entry forms, but this is more down the user than the system

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of our Award nominations, finalist submissions, and judging

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Thank you for the review! We're so glad to hear that Award Force has helped automate your awards process and reduce administrative burden for your small team. - Lindsay

  ### 35. Responsive staff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Margie S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

I'm new to Award Force and already finding the staff extremely helpful and responsive, which really matters in the early days of using a program like this when deadlines loom.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

I'm sure I'll find a few niggles, but at this stage, it's quite intuitive, and given the quick response of the staff, problems are being solved when they appear.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm at early stage of first use of the program, but it has enabled me to quickly amend award categories / entry forms when needed.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Thanks for your review, Margie! We're delighted to hear that you're finding our staff helpful and responsive. It's great to know that you're able to quickly make changes to award categories and entry forms as needed. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to supporting you further as you continue to use Award Force.

  ### 36. New Awards Manager finds Awardforce a Very Intuitive Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea Y. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

The system is pretty intiutive, but the support staff are amazing and respond really quickly to any technical issues using the platform. They have a vast library of help topics so if you cannot find it there they will help you via the help desk

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

Sometimes difficult to ask the right question to find the right answer! or find the answer to the particular field you need help on..

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They collate the nominations in one area

  ### 37. Simple to use and comprehensive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kiprono S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

Customizability, ability to edit and upload supporting documents

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

I cannot think of any dislike, except that the font for questions and answers should be much differnt

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fair and objective judgement

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Hi Kiprono, thanks for the kind review! We're glad to hear that you find Award Force simple to use and comprehensive! We appreciate your feedback. - Lindsay

  ### 38. Comprehensive Awards Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mining & Metals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

I've used Award Force both as an entrant and as a manager and have found it to be a clean and logical platform to use. I'm very impressed that it can create a specific pdf based on the particular award an entrant is applying for- so clever!

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

Occasionally I find it to be counter-intuitive- not always easy to work out where to go next when setting up the backend.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it easy for both Award applicants and judges to get the information they need.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Thank you for the review! We're so glad to hear that you find Award Force to be a clean, clever and logical platform to use, and that it has been helpful for both entrants and managers. - Lindsay

  ### 39. Exciting, easy to understand and rapid support at all hours

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will J. | Events & Partnerships Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

The design of Award Force is brilliant - it looks slick and it also all makes sense - for an entrant or a platform manager. The massive plus is the option to live edit and change an entry form - seeing it from a user's perspective. Being able to drag and drop different sections is excellent. The speed and efficiency of the support team is also incredible - I don't think we ever had to wait more than an hour or two for a response - and they always made sure they had fixed any issue we had.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

The only pain was that after our main Awards programme finished, we then used the platform for another programme - that was free to enter. We found that when we switch off the 'payments page' to make entries free it makes finding the 'Orders' page quite tricky. We were reconciling the paid Awards fees still so would have to go to entries or users, then click on an entry invoice to then take us to the main Orders page where we could search for other invoices. It would be good if Orders could still appear, if when payments are switched off

**Recommendations to others considering Award Force:**

Sign up as fast as you can, watch all the tutorials.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is way cheaper than our last platform, it has more functionality when designing the form and more options for judges like the weighted scoring system. It is easy to navigate, and easy to learn - it feels intuitive. It has made planning our Awards easier and helped increase our entries. We've had great feedback from everyone that uses it from judges to entrants.

  ### 40. Great, function-rich, product!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

The ability to manage large numbers of entries with ease. Award Force provides several ways to segment your entries, whether by using conditional questions, weighting, or tags, this platform can meet your needs.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

My only complaint is around the amount of data that can be exported from the platform at once, and this is may not even be an Award Force issue. Either way, this is not a major issue as you can simply combine your data once you've downloaded it and the previously mentioned segmenting capabilities provide the building blocks you need to analyze your data in a meaningful way.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run multiple contests and events each year that require the management of large numbers of applications. Without Award Force this would be unmanageable.

  ### 41. Award Force has been an overall great experience for our program!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

The ease of use of the platform has been a great experience for both entrants and judges. We've been able to tailor information and streamline the process for both audiences. Entrants have shared they are able to assess the entry form Similarly, the ease of use has helped us grow our program to be able to offer it in various languages. We enjoy the flexibility of judging modes based on the stage of the competition cycle and the ability to offer digital certificates to entrants that complete the program. Award Force solved the majority of the greivances we faced with other softwares.

The Award Force support team has been incredibly responsive in answering our questions and troubleshooting any issues that arise throughout the program cycle.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

Because our program sources judges from various organizations, the ability to tag/group judges by organization is missing from the program. We've resulted in creating dummy roles to group judges by organization. When dealing with large groups of judges (in the hundreds), the ability to email judges based on their judging progress is also a missing feature.

Data collection could be improved upon, such as the ability to export the Daily Volume Chart.

Additionally, Award Force lacks minor details that would go a long way such as the abilty to swap the logo based on the language selectied. While our entrants are able to submit in multiple languages, the branding and user experience is defaulted to the main language.

The biggest gripe with Award Force is the difficulty of sharing images and video natively within the platform. While we've resulted in using Google Drive links along with Award Force's markdown to share images and video, the process is quite cumbersome.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Award Force helps us solve quite a few problems in the awards management space such as the flexibility of the entry form and the various question types that are not available on the other softwares. Consequently, we have not discovered another software that integrates multilingual content as seamlessly as Award Force. This has offered a huge benefit to our program and our ability to reach more participants.

  ### 42. Awardforce brings us to another level !

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Best team, there's always someone that answers your questions rapidly. You feel heard and that we can always work out a good solution for your company.

I've been client for many years now and it helped me to earn credibility towards my clients !

Thank you the Team AWARDFORCE from all around the world ... you rock guys !! :)

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

It takes me few days to get into the programming of the platform but once I'm really concentrated on it, I can get around easily with the tips given by the team to optimize my platform.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For example, My country doesn't cover Stripe or all classic way of payment, they quickly found a solution for me that was easy to put in place in order to have a registration fee. So I'm a happy client !

  ### 43. An Awards System You Can't Do Without

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina P. | Video blogger and video editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

It's a well-designed platform that allows judges to access entries without cumbersome handling of the entries. This eliminates the potential for errors in the handling of the awards. Since using Award Force, the credibility of our awards program increased significantly and entries continue to increase as entrants feel confident with this professional system.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

It can take awhile to learn how to configure the system but the support is excellent.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Awards credibility to attract entrants, time management, ease of judging.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Thank you so much, Soraya, for your kind review. Here's to (at least) six more years!

  ### 45. Highly recommended the platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

Easy to copy the seasons and make the quick edit for customised setting. I love how promptly the responses from Support Team, kudos to Cil, Bryan and Carl. They are the best.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

I sent email about the issue a few times, mentioning it'd be the best if tech team to add the fuction to the email address text box to identify the typo of the email address. It's frustrating to see applicants left the wrong email address and the notification got bounced back because of it. Hope my response makes sense. Overall, the experience is great.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Please refer back to the previous response, I think it covers.

**Official Response from Lindsay Nash:**

> Hi! Thank you for your positive feedback! We're glad to hear that you find our platform easy to use and that our support team has been helpful. We appreciate your suggestion regarding the email address typo identification and will definitely consider it for future improvements.

Awards Force manages our entire Awards Program from nomination to payment. It does it all!

  ### 48. A great tool for managing our complex Awards Program

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Award Force?**

It is a great way of managing the submission process. We have 20 categories, and most have different judging criteria. Award Force allows entrants to submit to one or more categories online. All the entries are located in one place, which is effective and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

On the day the submissions close we experience connectivity issues, due to the large number of participants accessing the platform at the same time.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collating a large number of Awards entries over 20 awards categories. Submissions are online reducing the need for physical submissions. All entries are in one location, so there is one single source of truth. We have over 70 individual Jurors who can access submissions in their different categories online, this assists greatly with jury administration.

**Official Response from Diya Singh:**

> Hello from Award Force. Thank you for rating us so highly!

We apologise that your participants faced problems on submission deadline day; we would like to get an opportunity to reassure you it wasn't a load issue but unfortunate timing. If you could reach out to us on support@awardforce.com, I will be happy to talk through this with you.

Thank you for continuing to be an Award Force client ❤️

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2023

Award Force continue to invest in delivering sophisticated functionality, with exceptional, prompt customer service available 24 hours as Award Force is a global management system. Exceptional value for money from a sustainable perspective too as you can manage judging via the portal without having to print nominations.

**What do you dislike about Award Force?**

No real downsides as such just need to re-familiarise myself with the advanced functionalities of the system on a yearly basis as I only use it for 3 months each year; however there are online videos, hints and tips with the support team also able to provide personalised videos if you have a specific query.

**What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reformatting of downloadable application form (PDF) to enable the applicant to complete offline for relevant approvals prior to online submission.
