Award Force allowed us to push our awards infrastructure into the 21st century, resulting in significantly higher application volume, happier judges and less effort for internal teams. I've also always been impressed at the Award Force customer support team. They are attentive to your needs and always on call to support any question you have about the platform. I've always very much appreciated their review of our complete setup prior to launching a new award season to ensure everything is setup correctly. **What do you dislike about Award Force?** Given the level of complexity that Award Force can handle when it comes to dynamic applications, weighted and complex judging, and much more, I feel I need to relearn much of the tool every time I use it. We love that entrants are able to start an application, save it and continue later. We also love how intuitive the system is for judges. The always-on customer service is exceptional - they went above and beyond, were super responsive, always helped problem solve and made it a great experience for me as a program manager. **What do you dislike about Award Force?** Having to do a lot of the reporting/exporting outside of the system took more time than I thought, and the inability to download and export all of the judging outcomes I needed all in one spot would've been a real benefit but wasn't possible. Since 2008 I have organized 8 international, professional poster design competitions. About 10 thousand professionals from all over the world have participated in them. I would like to mention that these competitions were free of charge. Participants did not pay for the opportunity to submit works to the competition. In the last two contests, I used AwardForce software. **What do you dislike about Award Force?** The only inconvenience for me was the constant switching between new people from the support team. My dream would be: to have a dedicated account person who understands the specifics of a particular contest. To sum up: the software is fully professional and I hope it will be improved. **What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?** I recommend AF software for three main reasons: 1. writing my software was too expensive for my company, 2. the AF company provided full legal support for data protection, 3. the user interface of the software was friendly. ### 37. They helped us build out our processes even though we are not their average customer. We currently use the platform to manage startup applications and investors, who act as judges of the startups. The team is always readily available and answers within a few hours (usually minutes) for any questions that come up. **What do you dislike about Award Force?** The dashboard is quite comprehensive, but the one feature I feel is missing is the ability to toggle different time periods for the data on the dashboard as well as other filters. Additionally the limit of how many "searchable fields" is a little inconvenient. Lastly, it would be helpful to receive notifications when a judge makes any sort of review of an application. **Recommendations to others considering Award Force:** Utilize the support team as they are extremely talented at identifying which features may/may not be helpful to you. They are incredibly good at suggesting ways to use their platform even for industries that the platform was not initially built for. **What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us to track all our submissions, broadcast emails to specific groups of people, and connect applicants and judges (in our case, startups and investors) ### 39. It would be good if they have the ability to download the entry form for each award category, so new entrants that have never used the platform before can easily see the fields they need to complete. Save time for manually accepting the applications and manually chasing judges for their markings. From the entries to the judging all users have found that Award Force is so easy to use. During the onboarding sessions, our Award Force rep did a fantastic job running through the program thoroughly but also not overloading me with too much information all at once. After I had my program set up, the team did a pre-check to confirm the form and submission were operating as intended. This added step was something that gave me peace of mind and helped me to understand the submission process for our entrants better. **What do you dislike about Award Force?** So far, I can honestly say there is not much that I dislike about Award Force! There is, of course, a learning curve to setting up the submission forms, but once you become familiar with the format, it's smooth sailing! **What problems is Award Force solving and how is that benefiting you?** Previously, our entrants were having difficulty uploading certain types of large files (such as video, high res photos, etc.), so we had to incorporate the use of DropBox or some other outside file sharing option into the submission platform.
