The API connection to our GL software is non-existent and that really limits a lot of features. Also, customer service has never been a strength of theirs - I don't know if we have a customer service rep or who to reach out to if we have problems other than some generic contact info. It’s extremely easy to run our weekly check runs with AvidExchange. We simply do what we normally do in Workamajig, and the file goes directly to AvidExchange. From there, they separate the payments by credit card, ACH, or paper checks, which keeps everything organized. They also make the reconciliation process straightforward and easy to manage. I like the ease of tracking what is owed to us and when the payments will be expected. I also like that if we need to, we can arrange for an advance on some of that money, for a small fee. As a small business, the only thing that could be improved would be the speed of payout after the invoice has been approved by AvidXchange's customer, which is our customer. Sometimes you have to wait for the end of the week, or if there's a holiday, like with Thanksgiving recently, you have to wait until the week after the holiday before the payout arrives.
