When they do use the software, they are able to find what they need quickly and without assistance. I also like the querying and reporting features. In the capacity of my work, I sometimes have to send payable images and/or allocations out and I am able to quickly create a report and tailor it to exactly what I need. I like a lot of the features of AvidXchange. Particularly, the payment history is useful for gauging how long it takes to pay vendors. The prepaid module is easy to use and makes setting up new prepaid expenses straightforward. I also find the fixed assets module robust, allowing me to depreciate assets in various ways, which makes synchronizing the general ledger accounts easy. The speed helps reduce the time it takes to pay bills. AvidXchange can experience frequent issues, particularly with payment batching and invoice image uploads. It's also common to see system notifications about active issues, which can disrupt workflow. The automated invoice entry feature is helpful in theory, but I often need to make corrections after invoices are processed. Adding extra time, and the system can run slow at times too. When I have to reach out to support to fix something or inquire about a payment on a vendors behalf, the response time can take days. Once it took almost two weeks. One of the best things about Avid is we can run AP checks and get appropriate approvals remote. Having a digital audit trail is a huge plus as well, since invoices cannot move to the next step without authorization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about AvidXchange? One of the only downsides is sometimes the invoice/payment sync from Avid to MIP is finicky. If there is an error, it can hold processing up until the error is rectified. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is AvidXchange solving and how is that benefiting you? It has helped streamline the AP and check processing. We were having issues with duplicate payments, and invoices not making it to the final approvals. On this platform, reminders go out to managers who have not approved invoices or payments, so nothing gets lfet behind.
