"Simplifying Qualitative Research with AvidViews"
5/5
What do you like best about AvidViews?

I use AvidViews for conducting online research sessions like focus groups and one-on-one interviews. I like that it’s more than just a basic video call—it lets me interact with participants through polls, discussions, and content sharing, making the sessions more engaging. The interactivity changes the quality of the sessions. Participants can engage, share their thoughts freely, and react in real time, which makes the insights more genuine. I find it convenient that everything is in one place, from running the session to reviewing responses later. This saves a lot of effort and keeps things organized. The initial setup was pretty straightforward, making it easy to get started with creating sessions and inviting participants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AvidViews?

Overall, AvidViews works well for managing research sessions. In some cases, it takes a little time to get fully comfortable with all the features, especially when using them for the first time. A slightly more guided onboarding or clearer prompts within the platform could make it even easier to navigate initially. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AvidViews: All-in-One Solution for GDPR-Compliant B2B Client Consulting"
3.5/5
What do you like best about AvidViews?

I really appreciate AvidViews for its all-in-one design that merges secure B2B video consultations with built-in real-time feedback tools, which is perfect for small German biotech teams like ours. The integrated in-call polling and live comment features are excellent, allowing me to launch quick polls mid-demo and gather actionable client data during conversations. This greatly enhances the feedback for our R&D team, and the auto-saved poll results save me from manual note-taking. The spectator backroom feature is essential for cross-team collaboration, letting our R&D staff listen to client discussions in real time without interrupting, thus closing communication gaps. AvidViews’ robust GDPR-focused privacy controls are vital for handling sensitive client data securely. The EU server storage and easy deletion of session data for GDPR compliance are incredibly convenient and relieve us from the administrative burden. Additionally, the browser-based access for clients is a huge plus, as it removes the need for clients to download software, providing a smooth experience even on non-powerful hardware. Lastly, the simplified recording management with synchronized video and text transcripts is fantastic for quickly locating specific client feedback without rewatching the entire session. What do you dislike about AvidViews?

For starters, its export feature is inconvenient and fragmented. Each session’s video, transcript and poll results have to be downloaded as three separate files instead of a single bundled archive. After consultations with lab partners, I spend extra time sorting and matching these files before uploading them to our FileCap cloud storage. It would be much better if the platform supported one-click bulk export of all session materials. There is no built-in form builder for biotech-specific questionnaires. We often need to collect detailed information about clients’ lab equipment, monthly reagent consumption and purity requirements. The simple in-call polls only support short single questions, and there is no way to create multi-step custom surveys. I have to rely on external survey tools and paste the collected data into Launchpad CRM manually afterwards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Interview Process with AvidViews"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AvidViews?

I really appreciate the structured interview approach that AvidViews provides, as it helps evaluate candidates on the same criteria and reduces bias. The recording feature is another aspect I like; it's very helpful for reviewing interviews later or involving other team members in decision-making. The simple and easy-to-use interface means even new users can adapt quickly. Plus, the centralized feedback system really makes collaboration easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AvidViews?

One improvement could be adding more detailed analytics or insights about candidate performance. Also, more customization in terms of templates to make it even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Honest Reviews, Simple Setup"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AvidViews?

I like that AvidViews helps me get honest, easy-to-understand reviews, cutting through fake hype to show what real users are actually saying. It's straightforward and not overcomplicated, which saves me time and helps me make better decisions without second-guessing myself. The reviews feel real and not overly polished, making it easier to trust them. I can quickly see the pros and cons and decide if something is worth my time, feeling more like I'm hearing honest opinions from people who’ve tried it. The initial setup of AvidViews was pretty easy, and everything felt intuitive, so getting started didn't feel overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AvidViews?

One thing that could be improved about AvidViews is having more reviews available for newer or less popular platforms, since sometimes there isn’t enough feedback to fully judge them. A bit more filtering or sorting options would also help make it easier to find exactly what I’m looking for. Overall, the experience is solid, but expanding the review base and adding a few more customization features would make it even more useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AvidViews: Stress-Free Event Management and Engagement"
4/5
What do you like best about AvidViews?

I like AvidViews because it’s easy to use, reliable, and stress-free. It lets me host events smoothly, stay connected with my audience, and focus on my content instead of worrying about tech. I enjoy how smooth and dependable AvidViews feels. It works especially well for keeping events organized, engaging audiences easily, and making the whole experience feel professional without being complicated. The engagement features help me actually connect with my audience, not just talk at them. People can interact, ask questions, and feel involved, which makes events more enjoyable and meaningful for everyone. It also helps me feel confident, prepared, and in control, so I can focus on delivering a great experience instead of managing tech. The initial setup of AvidViews was pretty straightforward and stress-free—easy to create an event, invite attendees, and start streaming without getting bogged down in complicated tech. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AvidViews?

It’s a solid platform, but customization, scalability, and learning support are areas that could make it even better. I would love more branding options (like custom colors and emails), better tools for handling very large audiences (like stronger moderation and analytics), and clearer tutorials or in-app guidance to help new users get up to speed faster. "Revolutionized Our Qualitative Research Process"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AvidViews?

I find it incredibly helpful to see real-time emotional triggers without needing a separate analyst, thanks to AvidViews' facial coding and sentiment analysis. I love the virtual backroom feature, which allows clients to observe and chat with the moderator privately without disturbing the flow of the interview. The interactive heat mapping for ad testing is another special feature that makes it a true all-in-one research suite rather than just a meeting tool. The visual data shows exactly which creative elements capture and hold a viewer's attention. Additionally, the initial setup was straightforward and user-friendly. What do you dislike about AvidViews?

Specific improvement areas are connectivity, mobile experience and reporting export. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game Changer for Mock Interviews"
5/5
What do you like best about AvidViews?

When COVID-19 started to impact our hiring/interview processes, we needed a software solution that would meet our needs while maintaining our level of scrutiny. The background moderator, (back-room participant), allowed us to quickly bring our hiring staff up to speed with the updated protocol. Conducting mock interviews with this feature saved valuable training hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AvidViews?

We noticed some latency issues, but I think we could chalk that up to the local network infrastructure. It would also be great if this app was made available on older versions of iOS and Android. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
