What do you like best about Avalara?

I would say it allows you some automation specially on sales tax and also makes things easier when it tomes to E-invoicing (specially if you are present in different regions) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Avalara?

Once set up it does all the hard work of figuring out the correct amount of tax and when to charge tax. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Avalara?

Figuring out what tax codes to use is hard as there is so many options. Getting the intergation correct requires outside help. Customer support is diffucult to get ahold of when there is issues with your account or billing issues. It took months to get our card charged when our auto pay would not work and the system would not allow us to submit a payment. However, we contuined to get past due notices. What do you like best about Avalara?

I really like the ease of using Avalara software, and AvaTax’s correspondence with our software is fantastic, allowing us to file more accurate returns. The initial setup was fairly easy, and the sandbox feature is really useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Avalara?

I find Avalara easy to use and appreciate that their team responds quickly. I also value the ability to view every transaction and see the matrix of decision to determine if there was sales tax or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Avalara?

I find the Avatax add-on nice when it works, as it is integrated into our ERP system and ensures transactions are assessed tax appropriately. Once set up, Avalara is pretty much hands off, which I appreciate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Avalara?

I appreciate how Avalara stays on top of tax changes and how tariffs affect different entities that need to collect taxes. Avalara is very attentive to the different changes in tax laws, which helps in ensuring compliance as far as collecting taxes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Avalara?

I would say to have some seminars that are more detailed because the telecommunications company business is very complicated as far as regulatory and tax filings. So having more detailed seminars regarding that would be really helpful. But, otherwise, we do use outside accountants to kind of help pinpoint things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
