"How Did I Not Know About VIVA Before Now?"

What do you like best about AvaHR?

I have had a decent amount of experience with hiring. We have used other applicant tracking systems to post our jobs to job sites and manage candidates. However, when we needed something simple, focused on getting our jobs quickly onto job boards and little time to build it out, we tried viva. It was great. Made the posting process super simple and didn't feel like we had any trouble finding what we needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AvaHR?

There are a couple of things we didn't like. I won't say they were deal breakers. The overall value was really great. The job posting process was not just one step, they break it into a few sections. Having posted hundreds of jobs, I kinda like having it all in one step so I can fly through it. I sound nit-picky on that, but the way they have it set up is probably perfect for everyday job posting roles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering AvaHR:

We were in a time crunch with our decision-making. If you're in need of choosing a hiring software, post a job and start getting candidates as quickly as possible, this is a great option. What problems is AvaHR solving and how is that benefiting you?

Recently we have been hiring for more account managers. The process we had used in the past started charging more than expected so we searched online for an applicant tracking system for small businesses and came across viva. We have really enjoyed using this tool. I am amazed we had not heard about it until now. When we published our first job, we could see it appear on dozens of job boards. We got alerts of new applicants within a couple of hours and had narrowed down our top potential employees within 48 hours. That was a record for us. "Incredible ATS for Small Business Needs"

What do you like best about AvaHR?

I really like this platform. But for someone like me where hiring is new to my role, the customer support and account reps I work with have been absolutely incredible. When I would get into a jam and not know the best practices in recruiting, my VIVA-Mates were right there to assist! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AvaHR?

Not a whole lot to dislike. Their product was pretty self-serving and easy to learn. I did not like doing it all myself, and maybe wish there was an option to boost my account to pay for extra onboarding. Recommendations to others considering AvaHR:

When comparing against other platforms, we did a good job of asking ourselves what are the core features we *needed compared to wanted. When we did that, we could eliminate 80% of the other platforms. Very easy to use. and glad we came across VIVAHR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AvaHR solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are a small business who is hiring rapidly to keep up with our growth. The hiring with Craiglist and posting to my friends on Facebook is just not cutting it. "Recruiting Made Simple"

What do you like best about AvaHR?

I love how simple the system is to use. It connects directly to my website and pushes the open positions out to tons of sites. The user interface is clean and logical. "Easy to use hiring software!"

What do you like best about AvaHR?

VIVAHR is a great tool to post job ads to different job boards for free. I like how all the candidates are centralized in one place so I don't have to chase them down in various portals. The team collaboration has been amazing. Very easy to tag and work with teammates.

This platform is simple. Not as in, limited features, rather it just works. It's simple and easy to use. Not a techy by any means, but this is easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AvaHR?

I really like this tool. I wish they had a mobile app. I tend to work a lot on the go, and having a tool on my phone would be helpful. I will say, though, their tool does work okay in the browser on my phone...just not an app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AvaHR solving and how is that benefiting you?

Hiring. We are always hiring. Posting jobs quickly and being able to manage all our applicants is essential to our team.

In the past, we were not able to have clear vision into our hiring process. We had different team members posting jobs, and everyone was collecting candidates on their own. "Best Applicant Tracking System For My Small Business"

What do you like best about AvaHR?

We are a small business (25 employees) and needed and ATS to fit our growth but also not break the bank. I loved their features and the pricing aligned. I wasn't over paying for the big ATS that big Orgs are using. We cut down our hiring time by 60%. Once we posted a job, we saw it live on Indeed and in Google search results the next day. What do you dislike about AvaHR?

I would like to see more scheduling features for interviews. I was happy with the number of applicants but using some automation to schedule the interviews for me would be nice. Might be too much to ask for, but that'd be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering AvaHR:

There are many ways to write a job description, but I found the free templates they give you to help get more candidates. Not sure if it's because of the right keywords in the job ad, but my old postings never got this good of results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are focused on hiring for sales and customer service. We'd post our jobs before on craigslist and local job sites because Zip and indeed were just too expensive. What do you like best about AvaHR?

I really like the managing candidate profile design. It's super easy to take notes, share the resume and create tasks for my hiring team. They've had excellent customer service as well. We have quite a few jobs open for hire right now. I wish I could categorize the jobs by department and assign recruiters to specific departments. You can probably do this with a paid tier, but I haven't seen it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering AvaHR:

Know what you want before comparing ATS. This tool does not have ALL the bells and whistles. We were 'sold' into a tool that had it ALL before, but it comes at a premium when you only use 15% of the core features. Find a tool that fits exactly what you need..don't get sold. We had a big bottleneck in our hiring process. Spending too much money across several job boards which was frustrating to grab candidates inside each job board, then try to manage them all from outlook or spreadsheets. If you’re looking for a product that allows you to do everything you’d usually need two or three different programs to do, VIVAHR is for you.
