I think that the user interface is easy to use and intuitive. The Map feature (when it works) is a great way to show clients what's going on behind the curtain. The SaaS nature of the product makes it easy to deploy, network scans also are a big plus. The SaaS platform rarely has outages, and when it does, support is timely about communicating this to us. When we first started using Auvik NMS, it was a big upgrade from the old platform that we had been on. The collectors where useful and easy to deploy. The Fortinet FortiAPI integration was superb, as most of our customer fleet is Fortigate. The alerting integrated with Autotask, our PSA tool. Getting tickets to our 24/7 folks was easy.
Eventually, Auvik seems to have changed there focus. The NMS platform seems to be pushed to the side. The FortiAPI feature that was so useful broke. Support was not able to help us. The collectors started experiencing an issue that would cause then to go offline unexpectedly. (Due to a log overflowing). Support was not able to help us. We later found that the Ubuntu OS that our collectors use are not all up to date. Again, support was not able to help us. The Autotask integration as the option to import assets. This feature uses to many API Calls and caused our mail processing to stop working in our PSA. This is still not fixed.
If you call support today, you get a someone that does not work for Auvik. They fill out a from for you, and email it. There is no difference to email support. If we needed urgent support, I'm not confident that we could get help with our 2h SLA. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
