"Effortless Deployment, Needs UI Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Auvik?

I like how Auvik makes it really easy to deploy and we've pretty much automated it at this point. I appreciate that the initial deployment is straightforward, allowing us to get the base information easily. Even though configuring for the diverse network devices needs a bit of effort, mapping things correctly makes diagnosing future problems much easier. It's helpful that we can plug in credentials and map everything accurately to the right names and locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Auvik?

The actual graphic user interface could use some work. It can get really wonky and trying to navigate through the portal and find where you're trying to go can be a little weird sometimes. That could definitely use a refresh. Once you get used to it, you're used to it, and it's what it is. But, yeah, it's definitely not the most intuitive on trying to find specific details sometimes. "Proactive Monitoring Boosted Our Efficiency"
4/5
What do you like best about Auvik?

I like the user interface of Auvik, especially how it allows us to break out each site based on location and network. This way, I'm not overwhelmed with everything at one time and can look at each site individually instead of as a whole. Also, transitioning from Datadog to Auvik was very simple for us. We just plugged a couple of keys into our Meraki network, and it automatically started to pull the data into Auvik. It makes the process straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Auvik?

I think the way Auvik pulls the DNS names could be improved. It should be able to automatically pull in the DNS names based on our configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Your Over-Caffeinated Network Guardian"
5/5
What do you like best about Auvik?

I love that Auvik acts like an over-caffeinated network watchdog, mapping every device as soon as it appears on the network and keeping everything well-behaved. I appreciate the quick access to performance data, which allows me to investigate events reported by end-users efficiently. The integration with my ticketing system provides real-time inventory, reducing the babysitting aspect of my job. Setting it up was very simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Auvik?

It would be great if it could open and display the camera feeds from networked cameras, make a phone call to report specified devices offline. Maybe integrate with Claude desktop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Network Management with Auvik"
5/5
What do you like best about Auvik?

I love the UX in Auvik. I find it extremely easy to navigate and configure without having to hop through a lot of menus. I greatly value the 'Northstar' tool as it paints a very clear picture of the exact path and configuration of any end-device in our network. The initial setup of Auvik was incredibly easy since I deployed the virtual machine in our VMware setup and had everything working in less than a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Auvik?

I would like if the new alerts and old alerts could be combined into one! It would just consolidate everything into one space and eliminate having to jump between two places for configuring alerts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Network Monitoring with Scope for Growth"
4/5
What do you like best about Auvik?

I use Auvik for network monitoring and visualization, and it's great because it alerts us to unusual activity and device downtime. The dashboards give us confidence that everything is working correctly. The simplicity of the interface really stands out; it's simple to use, and the network scanning aspect during initial setup is easy to handle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Auvik?

I would like it to expand the alerting to the rest of our server estate so that it would be a single monitoring solution. We have other alerting configured on Windows server to alert on processes, physical hardware, etc. Just having it more widespread across our other estate would be beneficial. "Effortless Network Monitoring with Auvik"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Auvik?

I find Auvik very easy to use and understand, and I haven't encountered any issues getting the information I need from it. I also enjoy its network mapping and modeling features; being able to bring up a graphical representation of the switching of a network has saved me a significant amount of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Auvik?

The UI looks a little dated, but I'd much rather have a usable, responsive product than one that fluffs it out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Eases Network Management with Powerful API Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Auvik?

I find Auvik easy to use, and I appreciate the auto discovery feature that really works for my needs. I like the API because it provides a single place for all my network information, which makes it easier to pull into other data sources and connect different platforms together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Auvik?

I don't like that the API doesn't tell you the RMM ID when it's linked to an RMM tool. Also, I wish there was an option to onboard auto-discovered devices as unmanaged by default. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Network Monitoring with Robust Integrations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Auvik?

I find Auvik to be user-friendly, which is a big plus for us. The API access is another feature I appreciate because it helps with some device inventory tasks. We have successfully used Auvik to populate our custom IPAM and pull devices into our CMDB. The initial setup was pretty easy, which made our transition smoother. Our team also benefits from using Auvik along with Opsgenie for alert management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Auvik?

Don't have a current complaint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Set-and-Forget Network Monitoring with Auvik’s Effortless Updates"
5/5
What do you like best about Auvik?

The ease of use and being able to set it and forget it. Unless there are network changes that are made, its rare to need to do any unnecessary work since Auvik does it own updates on the back end so it doesn't affect the current configurations and require extra work on our end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Auvik?

The network map works great in Auvik but when copying the map to provide to clients for their own review, it does not allow expanding and retracting so the clients have to zoom in and out a lot to understand their full map. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
