As a cybersecurity engineer, I find Automox extremely effective in mitigating outdated software with just a single click. The Group Policy customization options are excellent, allowing us to tailor settings such as scheduling, automatic restarts, and more to meet our specific needs. I haven’t noticed any disadvantages so far. However, having a single, built-in connector for seamless integration with SIEM and ticketing tool would make it even more efficient and valuable. We’ve been using Automox for a while, and honestly, it’s saved me a lot of headaches. Before, patching was this long, boring process I had to babysit, and sometimes updates would get missed. Now, most of it just happens on its own, even for our remote systems. The dashboard is simple enough once you get used to it, and I like that I can set up policies and not worry too much after. Only thing is, in the beginning, figuring out custom policies took some trial and error. Reporting could also be more detailed without having to export stuff.
