Nearly every aspect of the user interface is customizable to the preferences of the drafter. AutoCAD also has powerful features to help with multiple aspects of creating a set of plans. The ability to add add-ins to the program provides even more features such as piping libraries, detail managers, etc. **What do you dislike about AutoCAD?** Unfortunately, AutoCAD can be very buggy at times, especially when dealing with large drawing files. Even with hardware within the recommended specifications moving within a drawing can take minutes much less attempting to edit. AutoCAD also seems to lack organizational features like a detail manager, and requires users to pay for a 3rd party add-in. One of the biggest issues I've encountered is when I plot a sheet set. When plotting over 5-10 sheets, AutoCAD delivers a fatal error and requires the entire application to shut down.
