Different types of ad-ins can be used in it to increase productivity and reduce the time required. So only one person can work at a time in a file. It's very good for someone who is already familiar with AutoCAD and wants to work in designing 2D drawings. Really liked the MEP toolset workspace which gives ample workspace environment (electrical, HVAC, plumbing etc). Its tools for making 2-Dimensional drawings, drafts, and documents, also, 3-Dimensional models and their visualizations are terrific. Also, when it comes to design 3-D models and visualizations, operator can add accessories like lighting and materials to their 3-Dimensional models in order to get a more real-life like view. AutoCAD's ability to control the view of texts, creating of dimension styles by itself, link and updation of data between Microsoft platform which includes Excel spreadsheets and tables. In 3-D models, AutoCad allows user to analyze the interior details of the object. One can customize the user interface of the software in order to streamline tasks and access its functions and features in a much better way. **What do you dislike about AutoCAD MEP?** There is nothing much to dislike about the software, but yes, certainly improvements can be done in order to make it more better. The platform demands high system configuration with at least 8GBs of Ram to operate efficiently for the latest released variant. The process of editing text column is cumbersome to manage and configure. Scope of improvement is there in the rendering feature. Some commands are very complicated rather they could be simpler but overall the software is good. **Recommendations to others considering AutoCAD MEP:** My recommendation to use AutoCAD is to everyone who is in the profession of designing and drafting, also whose computer system have 8Plus GBs of Random Access Memory and have a good processor which ensures smooth and efficient running of the software. In my view , I like that while modeling of Gravity systems , the slope of pipes are maintained as we given from starting while as comparing with revit the modeling of slope systems is very difficult task. And also there is benefit for those who already work on Autocad software and they have to now work on Autocad MEP , there are very much similarities of interface, commands, speed of work etc. **What do you dislike about AutoCAD MEP?** In Autocad MEP , the one foremost thing that I dislike most is that for modeling we need to import a sevice file , and if that service file is changed by client or there is slight changes in service file , then we have to start the modeling from scratch which is very frustrating.
