DISCO Auto Review is used by litigation support and ediscovery teams, law firms, and corporate legal departments handling large document sets under tight deadlines. Your team writes tag descriptions defining what makes a document relevant, and Auto Review evaluates the full set against those instructions, returning a tagging suggestion with a stated reason for every document, not a black-box result. DISCO reports recall and precision rates 10 to 20% higher than generally accepted human review benchmarks, and Auto Review processes up to 32,000 documents per hour, turning first-pass reviews that once took weeks into a next-day turnaround. Teams can run Auto Review themselves with support from DISCO's in-house AI consulting team, or have the DISCO Review team manage the process end to end, including privilege review and exclusions. Auto Review runs on DISCO's secure infrastructure. Almost there **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice **Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026 **What do you like best about Auto Review?** After refining the prompts and going through a couple of rounds of QC, the results of the auto review were overall impressive, especially if considered that the project contained documents in various languages besides English. The results were in line with DISCO's representation (about 80 to 90% exact responsiveness and issue tagging). For larger project this will end up saving substantial time and cost for the client. Support from the DISCO team was excellent. **What do you dislike about Auto Review?** I am not sure this is suited for all projects. There is a hard cap (albeit very high) to what AI can review per document a soft cap for issue tags that can be created per project. If a project contains numerous very large documents (spreadsheets seemed to be the most common offenders) Auto Review might not be the best option. The time required to generate and refine the prompt ended up being longer than we had expected, but this is partially due to our inexperience with the Auto Review process. **What problems is Auto Review solving and how is that benefiting you?** Auto Review seems to give clients and law firms that are cost sensitive an option to conduct e-discovery in a more cost efficient way. It requires that clients tolerate some level of risk given by the fact that there is a margin of error in the results that may exceed thorough human review, but that same thorough human review would likely cost substantially more. ### 2.
