It protects you from maleware and generally malicious websites. It is able to mask your IP Adress and you do not leave any trace of your surfing activities. How easy it is to research potential threats, without risk to my computer or network environment. I am also a fan of the Silo Portal which, after setting up SAML/SSO, allows me to have a bookmark in Chrome that will redirect any search or shortcut into the Silo browser. Very useful. I can definitely see how this would be beneficial for firms that want to lock down any personal web activity to Silo. The portal makes Silo much easier to access as it is in whatever work browser a person is using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Silo Workspace? The method of entering a pin code when opening Silo directly is not fun at all. Integration with a SAML/SSO provider is a must. Also, it would be nice if Silo could generate one time codes for 2FA inside each shortcut. I also and not a fan of the alerts I can get when I log in to my Office 365 portal from within Silo. They are typically of the multiple logins from disparate locations in a very time variety. It would also be nice to have any easy way to send logs to a SIEM if only to have that activity in one place with everything else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Silo Workspace: I recommend getting a few licenses to play around with. The price is reasonable, and once you have it in your hands you can start to see the use cases. I also highly recommend setting up SAML/SSO. What problems is Silo Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you? Silo provides a sandbox to do any kind of threat intelligence research. In addition the shortcuts make it super easy to quickly login to various accounts in one click. It has definitely made my job around security easier. I also like that you can control file downloads and uploads. This includes Silo's own encrypted storage. Copy and Paste is also controllable, thus making it a good DLP solution for the workplace. If we have to talk about the good things, we can highlight that authentic8 has a quite good programming, capable of performing encryption processes and a completely solid and durable data control, which allows the user to have the highest security that the information provided in the platform is completely safe from any data leak or computer virus that could make vulnerable the programming and security patterns established to protect everything inside the control system and content management. Speaking of the errors found within authentic8 software, it should be mentioned that when entering the system when the required data is not managed correctly, several things can happen, including the response of the system when the corresponding information is not provided, where a security confirmation is requested to prove that it is not content theft, which generates a lot of additional dialog boxes to restore user control to the platform, in order to continue to manage it easily. Recommendations to others considering Silo Workspace: I would highly recommend authentic8 because its unique and complete system comprises a very solid structure which contains a state-of-the-art software with data encryption and an encoding that contains a large number of coordinates linked to a direct server which is incorporated into an easily accessible interface where different types of activities and tasks related to the business branch are performed, where you can see the great features of authentic8 that simply protects, and keeps out of danger your data and information of great importance. In my considerable and acceptable experience with authentic8 I have been able to discover how many configuration and data backup systems have been victims of information theft, data loss and many problems with respect to the confidentiality of some files and formats, which has ended thanks to the correct and accurate programming found within this system, which comprises a large number of codes and data encryption that undoubtedly guarantee the correct method of protection and backup of the most important information for the company. I only like it because it represents a more secure personal browser than others without adding additional programs either against viruses or tracking this a totally unique system since it does not have some features of other browsers, which makes it stand out in some points winning in the Surely it offers, I am very happy to be able to enter any page safely, in addition to sending and receiving information in a safe way it is amazing how the service works and continues to improve. There are several bugs but it can be customary for example, there are no extensions since they are not compatible, it is not possible to use the Google search engine directly because you can lose security, they are points that do not affect Silo, but for a User accustomed to browsers can be complicated. Due to a problem with navigation systems, a solution was sought because it was already annoying to use vpn or antivirus, extensions of browsers that although we have that, there are always open codes, another browser was needed that allows freedom without losing information and Silo meets the objective leaving the problems behind and giving way to a better web service, offering stability without cutting the speed of the internet everything is fluid and perfect. Silo is a browser very similar to other systems such as firefox, however I like it because it is relevant as it protects the information while browsing or downloading on the web, I must indicate that it offers a panel with useful and easy-to-use tools to improve the experience and not be compared to other browsers, it highlights how fast it can be without limiting the speed of the internet and encrypting the IP through codes to avoid tracking or information that is affected with any virus or malware. Although it is a browser and it is usually possible to use a regular search engine has a predetermined one, it is not very good but it can improve. Another problem is the lack of extensions that help in searches or browsing processes but it is a process that cannot be enhanced because there are no extensions that are compatible. Because the usual browsers have security flaws, a solution was sought with antivirus, vpn but even so, residue or history was left, for that reason a cleaner browser was needed that would improve navigation and this is more secure if the solution was only perfect because it fulfills the functions of any browser but in an encrypted form which makes it much better. Good interface and easy to use, allows me to navigate freely and find solutions in a simple way, it is very safe, you can also create multiple browsers that make it even more excellent, it is very intuitive and safe. I have not really encountered any kind of problem, but if you have some disadvantages, for example, problems with check boxes, that is, they cannot be marked, sometimes websites do not load, there seems to be a type of conflict with the network In addition, when you download files regularly it takes a long time, it has good potential and I think it should improve those defects. Silo Cloud Browser improved our productivity and gave our firm a peace of mine. Our building provides free internet to all offices but due to concern with providing sensitive information on a shared network we needed a tool to give us access to the web without endangering sensitive material.
