It tells you whether an email address exists and can receive mail, without sending any message, so you can clean lists before a campaign and block bad addresses at sign-up. How it works Every address goes through syntax, domain and MX checks, then a mailbox (SMTP) check that asks the receiving server if the inbox exists. When the answer is ambiguous, the address gets a second check. Each result comes with a status (deliverable, undeliverable, risky or inconclusive), the reason behind it and a recommended action: send, remove or review.
