1. This is powerful software that often impresses customers especially when I show off the lidar and the Suns path

2. Aurora is incredibly fast to respond and everyone who responds is actually quite good at their job.

3. The roof modeling AI works for me on the first attempt around 80% of the time and makes it very quick and painless for me to build proposals (you do have to check to make sure the lidar is accurate and often I need to ask for a garage or detached structure to be modeled as well so I have everything prepared before entering a home)

4. The shade reports seem to be accurate and Aurora underpromisses so I don't piss off homeowners which is more important to me in the long run than anything else Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish I had the ability to model trees on my own. Taking pics and sending them in when the lidar isn't accurate can be pretty cumbersome. I don't think this is actually a limitation with Aurora, I think it's just the permissions granted to me. Aurora is known to be the most accurate solar design platform in the solar industry. With features like LiDAR companies can create accurate solar estimates prior to arriving on site. What V1 lacked on the proposal side has been vastly improved in the V2 version. The company has also really upped the quality of their customer support which is great to see. Utility rate schedules need some work. This is no easy task given the thousands of ever changing rate schedules across the US but a very important factor in quoting. Non by passable charges and other forms of technical rate fees need to be included in the information provided. A higher level of computation needs to be derived in order to get this accurate. An easy option to upload the customers hrly usage also needs to be added to make the most accurate post solar bill analysis.
