I really appreciate that the setup of AuditBoard was fairly easy, as it allowed for a smooth transition into using the platform without any significant hurdles. It's also a great benefit that AuditBoard is highly customizable, enabling me to tailor it exactly to fit my needs and adapt to specific requirements. I find it extremely valuable how it simplifies the tracking of audit work steps, making my workflow more efficient and streamlined. The continued development of detailed features, like the challenge process in the risk assessment tool, is something that keeps me engaged and confident about the product's future capabilities. I appreciate the ease of setup with AuditBoard, which made the initial process smooth and hassle-free. Using AuditBoard has allowed me to apply a consistent internal audit methodology for operational audits, which greatly enhances our audit processes. The platform provides significant efficiencies, especially in our SOX hub, streamlining workflows and improving productivity. I find the features like workstreams, audit templates, auditable entities, and the aura risk assessment extremely useful for our audit needs. The introduction of the new artificial intelligence feature is exciting and adds a valuable dimension to the software's capabilities. AuditBoard helps our audit function in that it keeps us organized and I appreicate that most items (controls, issues, narratives, policies, etc.) link to oneanother so that fewer things need updating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Optro? Having to type the capital B in the middle. Actually, there are a number of features that I don't like, but have brought up to the community and made suggestions for improvements. However, the community suggestion list shows that less than 1% of suggestions are taken, including small quality of life items. The biggest drawback from my perspective is that there still isn't a functioinal method of performing attribute testing within the program - this has been in the works at AuditBoard for years now, but no updates have been made after a very poor initial process. Reports and advanced features, such as API Dashboards are also terrible. I've had meetings for almost a year with AB tech team and have yet to get it functioning. I am optimistic about the potential for AuditBoard to provide full visibility and streamline risk management processes. UI is very user friendly and clean. The layout and navigation are clear for non-technical user to adopt quickly. Platform GRC capabilities for managing enterprise risks, internal audits and compliance workflow are sufficient for basic workflow. The new reporting tool via 'Connected Dashboard' looks promising and I hope there are continuous effort to improve this feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Optro? Poor implementation. The data mapping and permission design is a mess to administer. Very limited when it comes to workflow that require higher level of customization to meet business needs. The out of the box solution is limited in customization whether it be creating new form templates, risk assessment, workstream survey and reports generation. Expect a lot of work-around or response from support to have it request a potential feature in the future. One of the more frustrating aspects has been the support experience. Tier 1 support often acts as bottleneck, especially for complex issues that clearly require escalation to the product manager or engineering team member. I love how easy AuditBoard is to use and is so user friendly. It was an easy implementation process. We have been using it for a few years now, and when new employees start, they are able to jump right in with how intuitive they are with their features. We get great support for customizations and with our dashboards. The dashboard capabilities are amazing and beyond helpful to keep us on track and for reference. I use them all the time to guide me what I should be working on. These are also so helpful for the management team as this is where the data and analytics can really help change the way we work.
