The problem is that sometimes there is a five minute capacity for each and every screen recording. You cannot record more than five minutes. Might be possible about the plan which we are on, but I see that if I wanted to share something which requires eight to ten minutes screen recording, I will have to do it in two separate links, which is a problem. I’m using the Loom desktop app for Mac, and here are the things I like. It offers different options for screen recording (for example, full screen or a custom size). I also like that I can choose whether to show or hide my face, and that I can record without sound when I need to. After recording, it immediately redirects me to the video page in my browser, where I can grab the link and access other options like editing. Another feature I appreciate is being able to trim the video by selecting words in the transcript, and I like that it automatically edits out silence in the video as well. What I dislike is that, in the Mac desktop app, you can’t redact sensitive information while recording a video. Also, when selecting a custom size, you have to drag the cursor to mark the area you want to record. It would be nice to have the option to enter the dimensions as well, so the final video can be recorded at a specific size. I tried the screenshot feature and it took too long to process. What I like most about Loom is how easy it is to use, especially through the Loom Browser Extension. It is easy to start a recording with one click and create something usable directly from it. The browser extension makes it very easy to start a recording with a small click, select the appropriate screen, and immediately begin further use without much preparation time or a specific setup. Unlike other services, with Loom you don't need to log in to view and share or view other people's videos, which is convenient.
