## Loom Reviews
 ### 1. Loom Makes Bug Reports and Walkthroughs Fast, Clear, and Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sree K. | Software Development Engineer in Test III, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I started using Loom mainly because explaining certain issues over a call or in a long email isn’t always practical. Recording a quick screen video with my voice is much faster and more straightforward. When I find a bug, I can show exactly how to reproduce it, what I expected to happen, and what actually happened instead. Developers usually understand the issue much more quickly after watching the recording.

I’ve also used Loom to explain testing scenarios, share automation results, and do small walkthroughs for teammates. I like that I can record, copy the link, and send it right away without worrying about uploading large video files. Overall, it saves a lot of back-and-forth and helps avoid misunderstandings.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Honestly, I don’t have many complaints. Every now and then I end up recording the same video again because I miss a step or say something wrong, but that’s more on me than on the product.

For longer recordings, I do wish there were a few more built-in editing options so I wouldn’t have to switch to another tool. Other than that, it’s been straightforward and reliable whenever I’ve needed it.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves a problem I run into pretty often as a QA engineer: trying to explain an issue using only text. Even with a few screenshots and a long description, things still aren’t always clear. Recording a quick two-minute video usually communicates the problem much better.

I also find it useful for demonstrating a new feature, showing automation results, or walking someone through a process step by step. Instead of scheduling a meeting, I can send a recording, and the other person can watch it whenever they have time.

For me, the biggest benefit is improved communication overall. It cuts down on misunderstandings, saves time for both QA and developers, and helps issues get understood and resolved faster.

 ### 2. One-Click Recording and Sharing with Loom—A Freelancer Favorite Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SatVeer S. | Open Source Contributor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

The best part about loom is that you can just easily record video and share with anyone. I am a freelancer so my work requires give a lot of updates about project and I am using loom for past 3 years. I just only use chrome extension. With just one click its very easy to record and share. One of the best tools I have used in my web development career.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

There are no downside but I wish it could give limit of more than 5 minutes. Many time when I record loom for give updates to client, I hit the 5 minutes limit because I don't have the paid version. So many times I had to record two videos. And one more thing that I want that in free version they should give access to atleast blur some sensitive information.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me to grow my freelancing business. So whenever I submit a proposal on any job application on freelancing platform, I always include a loom recording to show case my experience and skills. And I have found tht with this technique I build trust with client and increase my chance to winning the job.

 ### 3. Fast, Clear Communication Without Meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Balkishan N. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

What stands out most about Loom is how frictionless it makes communication.

You can record your screen, voice, and face in a few clicks, and instantly share a link—no exporting, uploading, or large file handling. That simplicity removes a lot of back-and-forth in async workflows.

Equally important is how well it fits into real work:

Quick bug explanations or demos without long written descriptions
Clear feedback on designs or code
Async updates instead of meetings

The built-in viewer experience (comments, reactions, timeline) also makes collaboration feel structured without extra tools.

In short: it replaces long messages and unnecessary calls with fast, contextual communication.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

A key drawback of Loom is its limitations on the free plan—recording length, storage, and some advanced features are restricted.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom solves the problem of inefficient communication—long messages, unclear explanations, and unnecessary meetings.

It benefits me by letting me quickly record and show exactly what I mean (screen + voice), reducing back-and-forth and saving time.

 ### 4. Transforms Communication with Intuitive Visual Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yamini S. | Visual Designer - II, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I primarily use Loom for asynchronous communication across design, product, and client collaboration workflows. It's especially useful when working on UI/UX reviews, creative direction, or project handoffs. What I like most about Loom is how simple and frictionless the entire experience feels. The interface is very intuitive, so recording, sharing, and accessing videos takes almost no effort, making it easy to integrate into daily workflows. I also like how accessible it becomes with the browser extension, as I can instantly start recording without switching tools. Features like instant share links, filler words removal, silence removal, and automatic cloud saving are very convenient. It makes communication far more visual, clear, and efficient. The setup was straightforward, with almost no learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

One area where Loom could improve is video organization and management, especially when handling a large number of recordings across different projects. Finding older videos or maintaining a clean workspace can sometimes feel a bit cluttered. I have also noticed occasional performance issues with the browser extension, particularly during longer recordings or when multiple heavy applications are running. While the overall experience is smooth, having more advanced editing and annotation controls directly within the platform would make it even more useful for detailed design and product feedback workflows.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Loom for asynchronous communication, reducing meetings by recording walkthroughs. It closes communication gaps, making feedback visual and contextual, aiding in design decisions and client communication. It saves time and enhances alignment by simplifying explanations and speeding up approvals.

 ### 5. Loom Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary Joy T. | Administrative Assistant, Information Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I use Loom daily for team communication, especially when explaining tasks, giving feedback, or doing quick introductions. The camera + screen recording feature helps me clearly walk through documents, Google Sheets, or workflows while still showing my face, which makes my explanations easier to understand.

Instead of typing long messages, I record quick Loom videos to show exactly what needs to be revised. This has reduced back-and-forth with my team since they can see the exact issue and replay the video anytime. The Chrome extension also saves me time because I can start recording instantly while working.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Honestly, there’s nothing I dislike about Loom. It’s user-friendly, reliable, and makes video recording and sharing so much easier.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom makes it so much easier to record yourself while also recording your screen at the same time. It’s very useful for work, especially when you need to discuss something, explain a process, or propose an idea. You can do it right away without needing complicated tools or setups.

 ### 6. Loom’s AI Editing and Chrome Extension Made Technical videos Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luis F. | Support Expert, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I used Loom for a AI technical demo videos for internal users and customer facing interactions, the best new feature I used was replacing some empty sound spaces, replace "umsss" and "emmm" was a key feature.

After using the AI edition section, I would definitely continue the usage with my colleagues for this project.

The chrome extension was a game changer as sometimes the desktop app for Mac gets buggy.

Integrating the Loom with Google calendar was definitely useful for scheduled meetings summary.

I received close support to answer my questions, and I was able to ask for new features that went online shorter after I asked for it.

The investment made was absolutely worth the price in terms on how useful was Loom for our project.

Another great part was being able to use AI to add words that I was not able to say in the Loom recording, so easy to use and understand.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

The Mac desktop application is very buggy, even using the most recent version or the previous one, the crashing was guaranteed, therefore, we decided to use the chrome extension instead.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I decided to try Loom as I was using Davinci Resolve for video editing, but as a new user to the recording and video edition world, Loom was a life and time saver for our team project.

The delivery time was reduced in 80% after starting using Loom

 ### 7. Seamless Team Updates, No Meetings Needed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy W. | eCommerce Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I find Loom super easy to use, especially with it being available as a Google extension, which makes it just one click away. I really like that I can record face-on videos and screen recordings. The AI functions are excellent, trimming out any 'ums' and 'ahs', and letting me edit over words if needed. Having transcripts and the ability to timestamp different parts of the video are incredibly helpful. There are so many features and functions that I find really good. It's also connected to our Slack account, so I can see when people have watched, reacted to, or commented on videos, which really helps. Finally, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

We did have an issue previously with playback watching that I was recording it on. I think it was just really having a good Internet connection to solve that. Perhaps it was the Internet connection of the people watching the videos, but really, I'd say overall, it's a very small minor issue. And we're very happy with Loom.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom helps me provide updates and training without meetings, solving communication gaps in our team with varied shifts. It’s especially useful for training, letting team members pause and rewatch videos at their convenience. The AI features improve video quality with edits and transcriptions.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

“Loom is solving the problem of slow, unclear, or repetitive communication. Instead of writing long emails or scheduling multiple meetings, I can quickly record my screen and explain exactly what I mean. I value the core idea of recording and sharing these videos easily. The AI generation tool is amazing and allows me to create different types of documents, draft emails, or Slack messages from transcripts. I also appreciate the book creation feature, the ability to link to Jira, and making corrections directly from the transcript, which just makes a difference.

Loom is an exceptional tool for quick communication and screen sharing. It is very user-friendly, and the ability to record my screen and camera simultaneously makes explaining complex tasks or providing feedback incredibly easy and efficient for my academic projects.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

While Loom is great, the free version has some limitations regarding recording duration, which can be a bit restrictive for longer presentations. Additionally, I sometimes experience slight delays in video processing when the internet connection is not perfectly stable, but overall, it's a very reliable tool.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom helps me solve the problem of explaining complex technical concepts without needing long, inefficient meetings. It benefits me by allowing me to record concise video explanations for my academic assignments, saving me time and ensuring that my classmates and instructors understand my projects clearly and effectively.

 ### 11. Effortless Video Recording and Sharing with Loom

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I use Loom for video meetings and recording my videos. I find it great for video recording, especially because recording in Zoom was complicated. With Loom, I can easily record through the extension and share public links. I love the public link-sharing feature; it's very handy. When you record a video screen recording, you can create a public link and share it, so anyone can view the video without the hindrance of exporting and uploading. The initial setup of Loom was easy.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

The free plan is very limiting. The 5-minute recording limit is too short, and you can’t even blur sensitive information. Also, if you have a lot of recordings, finding older videos becomes a mess and the workspace gets pretty cluttered. The Mac desktop app also crashes a lot, so most people just end up using the Chrome extension anyway.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom makes video recording easy and simplifies sharing through public links, eliminating the hassle of exporting and uploading.

 ### 12. Instant, Easy Screen Recording for Clear, Shareable Explanations

It helps reduce meetings and long messages by allowing me to explain things through quick videos. This makes communication faster, clearer, and saves a lot of time in daily work.

 ### 13. Loom Makes SOP and Training Videos Effortless—AI Summaries, Titles, and Trimming

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam V. | Director of Global Operations, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

Loom makes SOP/training/information videos super easy to make with the browser extension and desktop app. I've come to use Loom so frequently that if my company stopped paying for it, I'd personally foot the bill. The AI features help with summaries and titles and can even help trim the video if you need something ultra-polished. For non-profits, there is a significant product discount that is very easy to apply for (providing you're a registered charity).

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

The biggest challenge I find with Loom is the Atlassian portal side of things still doesn't feel fully integrated - it's clunky to manage my subscription and account and feels ultra complicated.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Loom primarily for training videos for our non-profit organization, which includes staff and volunteer training. Being able to create short videos that show the exact steps required in each of our platforms is extremely important for us and our people and cuts down on the number of requests for help for things that people feel nervous about "messing up", but that are actually quite straightforward.

**Reviewed by:** Safin G. | Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I use Loom to record my self-introduction video resume for freelancing clients and companies. I appreciate that it helps me clearly record video, change the background for a professional look, and provides a quick link for sharing with companies and clients. The initial setup was pretty easy as I didn't have to perform any extra steps to start using it.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

I think the free limits can be increased a bit to allow more people to use and try the free plan for a longer period. In the free plan, Loom allows recording up to 5 minutes, which I think should be at least 10 minutes so that more people who want to try it can use and decide to buy the paid plan.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Loom to clearly record professional video resumes, easily edit, and quickly share them with links to companies. It helps me track insights on viewership.

 ### 16. Loom Makes Screen Recording and Sharing Walkthroughs Fast and Easy

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Some useful features and longer recording limits are restricted to paid plans. Occasionally, video uploads can take a little time depending on internet speed.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom helps me explain Salesforce concepts and provide recorded guidance without needing live sessions every time. This benefits me by saving time, improving communication, and allowing students to watch explanations whenever they need them.

 ### 17. Best Way to get help

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gretchan P. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

If you ever need to record something for a client or for support, this tool makes it really easy. Everything gets saved to a library that you can organize as well, which helps keep things tidy. I also like that you can adjust the video speed depending on who you’re sending it to.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

If you don’t take the time to organize and label everything, it becomes difficult to track down specific videos later on.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whenever I need support with a CRM, being able to record what I’m seeing and send it along makes the whole process easier for everyone involved. It’s also a big plus that the recording can be replayed, since it helps clarify details without having to explain everything twice.

The recording extension is available in any browser, and it's easy to share the finished video with anyone who needs it. The initial setup was very easy, basically plug and play.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

I wish that the AI tools and editing tools could be activated by seat instead of org-wide, it made it so that our IT Team denied my access.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Loom to make training videos and record my screen to show issues. It solves the problem by allowing me to record my screen and voice simultaneously, edit, and share videos without leaving my browser.

Loom helps by capturing product screen videos with customer management and analytics, making it easy to spot and resolve bugs. It helps my team share videos efficiently for product demos and discussions.

 ### 20. Easy to Use, Reliable Recordings, and Great Value

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

What I like most about Loom is how easy it is to use once you get familiar with it. There’s a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, but after that it’s very straightforward. The recording quality is solid, and it does exactly what we need without overcomplicating things. It’s also an affordable option for a company, making it easy to use for all sorts of marketing and support tasks. It’s been a really useful tool for us overall.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

There really aren’t many negatives from my experience. There’s a small learning curve at the start, which is expected with any new software, but beyond that, it’s been straightforward and reliable.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom solves the challenge of explaining processes clearly by letting us create quick, visual walkthroughs. We’ve used it for marketing demos, and we plan on using it to build short support videos to help customers better understand our system. It’s a more efficient and effective way to communicate than relying on written instructions.

 ### 21. Effortless Screen Recording with Seamless Sharing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kiersten E. | Virtual Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I love how simple Loom is to use for recording videos of my membership site. With just a click, I can start screen recording without having to set dozens of settings first. I like the button and screen layouts, which are very intuitive and don't take up much screen space. It’s great that I don’t need to be in a virtual meeting to share my screen, unlike with Zoom. Sharing the links to videos is also easy, and I can set privacy settings so only those who need the video can access it. The initial setup was very easy with simple and intuitive settings. I find it much easier and more intuitive than using the Windows Snipping Tool, which is what I used originally. Loom is MUCH easier than Windows Snipping Tool. Plus, Loom saves me from having to store recordings on my computer and provides a nice link for sharing. I also appreciate that I can share my videos with as many people as I like, and the recording looks very put-together.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

This is minor, but the 3-second countdown at the beginning is slow, and sometimes I think the recording has started when it hasn't. I also wish there was a way to confirm which screen, window, or tab the recording was on, so I didn't have to go back and check it just to make sure I had clicked the right option.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom makes screen recording effortless with a simple interface, selectable recording areas, and easy sharing. It's better than Windows Snipping Tool and Zoom for recording, providing professional video links without large files or meetings.

 ### 22. Effortless Video Creation and Sharing

**Reviewed by:** Celine K. | Partner Program Manager, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I use Loom to enhance the partner program experience in our SaaS business. I find it very simple and easy to share, which makes a big difference. I like recording so easily with just one button, and being able to include sound or voiceover. The option to have a small head in a bubble in the corner is a neat feature, as is the simple screen sharing. The initial setup was very easy and quick, and overall, it has really helped with recording short help videos or simple instructions. I appreciate the ease of sharing these videos with others.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Sometimes it is a bit hard to understand where the head bubble is. It would be great if there was some obvious way to choose what window the head bubble is going to appear in.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Loom to record short help videos and simple instructions that are easier shown than explained in written format.

 ### 23. Makes explaining things much easier with video recording and sharing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

It’s easy to record videos and share them instantly. In my day-to-day use, I record videos to include in KB articles, or I record customer conversations so I can capture the client’s requirements clearly and troubleshoot any issues. It’s also easy to share recordings instead of sending long emails, so others can understand certain topics faster by watching a recording with all the navigation shown.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

The editing options are very basic and need some improvements that would really help. For longer videos, the editing isn’t flexible, and there are also limits on videos, which makes it quite challenging.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduces long back-and-forth meetings, detailed emails, and the many hours spent explaining something to someone. Now I can just record and share, and even use the comments section in Loom. If you’re sharing a link with everyone, you can have a conversation right there. Also, I’m quickly recording workflows and integration steps, so it has definitely improved response time.

 ### 24. Intuitive Screen Recording with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu C. | Senior Technical Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I use Loom for screen recording, and it helps me easily record my screen. The video editing is pretty neat, and the options to pause, play, and record the video are very user-friendly. Sharing videos asynchronously with colleagues and customers is convenient because I don't need to get into meetings to show them issues or help with features. The editing is also pretty easy, allowing us to shorten or trim videos. I find the AI features, like removing silences or filler words, pretty valuable. Loom is quick, easy, and has a good bunch of features. It's very user-friendly, with a good UI and a nice, fresh, modern UX. Setting it up is easy with the Chrome extension; you just sign in while in the browser without the need to sign up again.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Trimming the video and then like deleting or removing some part, it doesn't mention a spot, doesn't have a spotlight. Like when I'm clicking somewhere, it should just focus the recording to that portion of the screen. It doesn't have, like, AI voiceovers, which new competitors have. I think there's scope for improvement in spotlight and AI voiceovers. Also, there's some features still lacking which is why I gave it a nine instead of ten.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Loom helps me record and edit my screen easily. It lets me share videos asynchronously with colleagues and clients, saving us from unnecessary meetings. The video editing, including AI features like removing silences, is very user-friendly.

 ### 25. Effortless Communication and Training with Loom

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cheyenne S. | Operations & Marketing Consultant

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I love everything Loom has to offer. The AI summary is almost perfect and really helps in creating video descriptions. I appreciate being able to easily write, download the videos, or just share the link directly. I also like how I can add a link for people to sign up for certain programs or software that I suggest in the video. The whole process makes it easier to communicate with people I share the videos with and fits well into my daily workflow. The initial setup was very easy, which made getting started straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

The AI has improved but could use more improvements as it sometimes does not dictate words very well. It just needs to learn different accents and how users speak during their videos.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom saves time by eliminating the need for meetings, allowing me to quickly record and share videos. I can edit, download, and publish them online easily.

 ### 26. Streamlined Remote Collaboration, Minor Glitches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophiya K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I really find Loom handy for working in a remote setup, especially across time zones. It's great because I don't have to wait for my teammates to be online; I can just start recording a video that captures everything. Sharing the videos is super easy too. What I love most about Loom is its simplicity. It's very easy to use, you just start recording, and it captures detailed screens, including your face, making it feel like a real-time conversation even though it's recorded. The initial setup of Loom is also very easy and intuitive. It's been a great tool for me.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

I would say sometimes when I'm sharing my screen, there's this kind of lag. Like, if Loom is open in one window and I want to share another, the recording sometimes takes a while to start. I often have to check if it's actually recording, and it can be frustrating when I realize after one or two minutes that it's not recording properly. Those bugs don't always make it clear if I'm recording confidently.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom is handy for remote work, especially across time zones. I can record and share videos easily without waiting for teammates. It keeps the context intact for others, preventing me from repeating information.

 ### 27. Perfect Tool for Quick Walkthroughs and Team Updates

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ameer A. | Salesforce Developer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

Loom makes communication extremely simple and effective. Recording quick videos to explain ideas, walkthroughs, or updates saves a lot of time compared to long emails or meetings. The interface is clean and intuitive, so anyone can start recording without much learning. I especially like how easy it is to share videos instantly with a link and get viewer insights such as who watched and for how long. It’s a great tool for async communication and remote collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

While Loom works well most of the time, video processing can occasionally be slow, especially for longer recordings. Some advanced features are limited to paid plans, which can be a drawback for smaller teams. Also, minor issues like lag during recording or audio sync problems happen once in a while, though not very frequently.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom helps reduce unnecessary meetings and lengthy back-and-forth communication. Instead of scheduling calls, we can record short videos to explain tasks, give feedback, or share updates clearly. This improves productivity, saves time, and makes communication more personal and clear, especially for distributed or remote teams.

 ### 28. A Must-Have for Effective Video Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maxim R. | Content Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I find Loom really useful for recording video messages for my clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. It's a great tool to show my process of work, ask questions related to tasks, and communicate other details. Loom helps me quickly show what I'm working on, and the video format is much more detailed than screenshots or text messages, which allows me to resolve issues and answer questions more quickly. I really enjoy using Loom, and I've been using it for years. The initial setup was simple, and there were no problems getting started. I find my experience with Loom very satisfying, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to communicate their project progress or ask questions.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

I think there are some UX issues. The video player controls could've been a bit more usable.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Loom for recording video messages to quickly show my work to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. It helps me provide detailed, accurate information compared to screenshots or text, speeding up issue resolution and responses in fast-paced environments.

 ### 29. Transforms Teaching & Communication with Ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jagdish P. | Assistant Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I like the simplicity and speed of creating and sharing video content with Loom. As a professor, I appreciate how quickly I can record a screen walkthrough with voice and share it instantly with my students, without needing complex setups or editing. It's very efficient for explaining concepts, demonstrating code, or providing quick clarifications. I also value the asynchronous communication Loom enables, allowing students to watch videos at their own pace by pausing, rewinding, and revisiting them, which significantly improves their understanding. I like the combination of screen recording, voice, and optional webcam features, making the explanation more engaging and personal compared to plain text or slides. Additionally, the ability to share videos via a simple link makes distribution very easy, whether it is for lectures, feedback, or quick updates.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

There are a few things that don't work well with Loom for me. One limitation is the editing functionality, which is pretty basic. While basic trimming is available, more advanced editing features like annotations, step highlights, or detailed video structuring would be helpful, especially for explaining complex machine learning concepts or code walkthroughs. Another area is content organization. As the number of videos grows over time, managing and structuring them efficiently can become challenging, so better categorization, tagging, or folder management would improve its usability for academic purposes. I've also noticed video quality and performance can vary depending on network conditions, which might affect students with limited bandwidth. Additionally, while Loom is great for quick recordings, it is less suited for highly polished lecture content where more professional editing or customization might be required.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom helps me explain complex machine learning concepts visually, saving time with consistent explanations and clear, personalized feedback. It allows for flexible learning by letting students access videos anytime. It has improved my teaching effectiveness and student engagement.

 ### 30. Effortless Screen Sharing, Limited by Time Constraints

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I feel the security with Loom is top-notch, thanks to its association with Atlassian. I also like how I can quickly get to screen recording and finish it in just a few clicks, like two or three, and then easily share it with anyone. The ease of screen recording with Loom is a big plus for me as it saves me from storing videos on my MacBook and instead allows me to store them in the cloud, sharing via a link.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

The problem is that sometimes there is a five minute capacity for each and every screen recording. You cannot record more than five minutes. Might be possible about the plan which we are on, but I see that if I wanted to share something which requires eight to ten minutes screen recording, I will have to do it in two separate links, which is a problem.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom simplifies workflow by enabling easy screen recording and cloud sharing without storage issues. It's secure, with quick setup and sharing in just a few clicks.

 ### 31. Lightweight, Intuitive Meeting Recording with Great Value!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ed G. | HR, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

It’s one of the easiest ways to record a meeting. It’s very lightweight to run: you just install the Google Chrome plugin, log in, and it’s ready to use. The price is great, and it also offers AI add-ons like transcript generation and more. The first time I used it was very intuitive so you don't need an onboarding or a training.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Sometimes, when I make a small edit to trim a clip, I have to wait a little while for it to process.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To take notes and simplify the process to explain something I talked with our Clients to my internal team. It's the best tool!

 ### 32. Effortless Communication with Great AI & Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Han B. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I like that Loom is easy to open with a link and that it provides an AI summary. The AI summarizes the entire video and highlights the key points, making it easy to skim through the content. The link accessibility means I can quickly open and watch videos. Loom is also easy to record and can be stored on the cloud. Setting it up was straightforward, and their customer support is great.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Probably loading the video, I want the video to run right away after loading instead of pressing the play button. I prefer it to run as you open the link.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Loom for debugging and understanding user experiences by watching recorded screens. It improves communication between developers and support teams. The AI summary makes videos easy to skim, and sharing is simple with accessible links. Recording is easier, with videos stored on the cloud.

 ### 33. Flexible screen recording with smart transcript trimming and auto silence removal

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Poonam T. | Freelance Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I’m using the Loom desktop app for Mac, and here are the things I like. It offers different options for screen recording (for example, full screen or a custom size). I also like that I can choose whether to show or hide my face, and that I can record without sound when I need to. After recording, it immediately redirects me to the video page in my browser, where I can grab the link and access other options like editing. Another feature I appreciate is being able to trim the video by selecting words in the transcript, and I like that it automatically edits out silence in the video as well.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

What I dislike is that, in the Mac desktop app, you can’t redact sensitive information while recording a video. Also, when selecting a custom size, you have to drag the cursor to mark the area you want to record. It would be nice to have the option to enter the dimensions as well, so the final video can be recorded at a specific size. I tried the screenshot feature and it took too long to process.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a quick and easy way to record your screen.

 ### 34. Simple meeting notes with quick setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jean-Luc B. | Manager Project Management Office, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

What I like most about Loom is how easy it is to use, especially through the Loom Browser Extension. It is easy to start a recording with one click and create something usable directly from it. The browser extension makes it very easy to start a recording with a small click, select the appropriate screen, and immediately begin further use without much preparation time or a specific setup. This makes the browser extension so valuable for us, as you can create new content very quickly. The entire setup process was very simple and didn't even take us 10 minutes.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

In my opinion, the granting of rights is generally about sharing content and also how the Loom itself is structured. Some more work could be put into that.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom solves the big problem for us of transmitting information and training content asynchronously, uncomplicated and easily integrable.

 ### 35. Easy Project Creation and Quick Video Updates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javier C. | Full Stack developer, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

It works best to create a project, and it is easier to use when I need to update a video or record something

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

The video can not be on the plataform a long time, so you need to download it. Also, the buttons and the plataform can be confuse the forst time

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You do not need another application to make a video; you can record something more easily, and you can learn using an AI video that is there to introduction of Loom

 ### 36. The Fastest Way I Share Micro Tutorials, Reports, and Feedback With My Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Atul C. | MARKETING HEAD, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I can just record whatever I need to explain instead of typing long messages or getting on calls again and again.
I just hit record my screen, talk, and send the link… no downloads or login issues, makes it easy for my team and students.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

It gets you addicted because of the features but then for free version there is a limit.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It really solves a lot of problems that I encounter on a day to day basis... like I don't have to jump on a call or type long emails or messages.. just click and record and. It is done.. I can quickly record micro‑tutorials for my team, walk them through reports or presentations on my screen, and just share a link, so they can watch it when it suits them and we save a lot of meetings and context‑switching.

 ### 37. Loom Makes Sharing Updates Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shubhank S. | Support Analyst, Logistics and Supply Chain, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

Loom is really helpful in our daily office routine. It’s very simple to record videos and share updates with colleagues, so we don’t have to schedule meetings every time.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Sometimes it takes a lot of time to upload videos, especially when they’re long.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This saves me a lot of time. I can create a video and share it with my colleagues without having to schedule meetings every time. The video and audio quality are very good, and they can also interact with the video by adding their comments.

 ### 38. Fast and easy way to communicate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I really appreciate the human customer support at Loom. I can always reach out and ask for help if I have challenges with my video recordings.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Sometimes when I’m recording longer videos, something goes wrong and they don’t get saved. Usually, I can fix it with some quick troubleshooting — like restarting the browser — and since I’m mostly using the Loom extension, that tends to help.

But it’s still not a great experience, especially when you’ve just recorded a 15-minute video and it doesn’t save.

Also, when switching between tabs to show different things, you have to constantly remember to click the “share” button at the top, which makes the whole process a bit frustrating.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It definitely saves a lot of time when it comes to preparing explanations or giving directions to new team members, especially during onboarding across different systems. It’s a quick and easy way to show where everything is and provide clear, straightforward instructions on how things should be done.

It’s also much more effective than text. With written instructions, people don’t always fully understand everything, but with video, it usually solves the problem right away without the need for follow-up questions.

 ### 39. The Ultimate "Meeting Killer" for Busy Founders

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ritesh S. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

"I honestly can’t remember how I worked without Loom. It’s my go-to for killing unnecessary meetings; I can just record my screen, talk through a design or a project update in two minutes, and send the link. It’s way faster than typing a long, confusing email and much more personal since the team can actually hear my tone of voice.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

There's nothing I dislike about Loom, but I will update my review of Loom if I find anything to criticize.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an entrepreneur, my biggest bottleneck is always my own time. Loom finally solved that 'calendar bloat' where my day was just back-to-back syncs and endless email threads that led to mistakes anyway. Now, I just record a 2-minute clip to walk through a new strategy or a dashboard. It’s a game-changer because it protects my 'maker time' for deep work, while giving my team a clear, visual guide they can re-watch whenever they need. It basically turned our messy communication into a library of assets that actually helps us scale.

 ### 40. Loom help in aligning video conferencing for our business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Umesh K. | IT Team, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

As a service based business we need to share our desktop screen with our technical team professionals working on the field at customers doorstep and loom is the software that helps in this process along with our device camera. This software helps us in giving instructions to our employees along with the screen recorder

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

All of the video that we share with our team members are processed through this software only but the main disadvantage of Loom is that there is no video editing software integrated in this tool nether they have any basic editing features integrated on the software

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It becomes very easy for us to explain the day to day task to our employees working on the different location all over the world and it also help our clients who need any take a assistance related to our software. As most of the our business tutorials and training we do are executed with the help of Loom only.

 ### 41. Quick, Clear Screen Recordings with Loom for Faster Support Communication

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

For me, the main drawbacks are managing recordings and the limited editing features, which become especially noticeable with frequent use.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom helps me avoid repeating the same explanations by letting me quickly record and share visual solutions. It makes troubleshooting more efficient, cuts down on communication gaps, and ultimately improves the overall user support experience.

 ### 42. Saves Time, Boosts Clarity & Simplicity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew W. | Founder, Commercial Real Estate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I like Loom for its simplicity and speed. I can record a Loom very quickly, and send it out to customers or team members across multiple locations. It takes me about one or two minutes, depending on what I'm doing, and then I can send it off straight away by email or using Slack. Loom saves me an awful lot of time once a video is recorded, as it's ideally sent out to people who have the same question or issue repeatedly. It shows quite clearly what needs to be solved and for me, that's a godsend. I also appreciate that it's simple to use and self-explanatory, so others can easily understand it by just clicking the link. The setup was incredibly easy, and I was ready to go within a couple of minutes.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Occasionally, it just says the slight lag when you're switching between screens.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom saves me a lot of time by allowing me to record and send videos to address frequently asked questions. It's a godsend for repeating common solutions, letting me quickly share clear instructional videos with my team and clients.

 ### 43. Record Once, Share Easily, Save Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

What I like best about Loom is that it is very easy to use for my daily work. I manage diet charts, patient guidance, and educational sessions, and Loom helps me explain diet plans and lifestyle instructions clearly through short videos. I was able to start using it quickly without any technical difficulty.

I use Loom regularly to record diet chart explanations and general guidance for patients, which saves time and avoids repeating the same instructions again and again. It has enough useful features like screen and voice recording, which are more than sufficient for my work needs. Loom integrates well with my system and browser, so recording and sharing videos is smooth. I like that I can just share a link instead of explaining the same thing again. Overall, it supports my daily clinic and nutrition related work in a simple and practical way.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Sometimes Loom can feel a bit slow when recording or uploading longer videos, especially when I explain detailed diet charts or patient guidance. If the internet connection is not stable, uploads take more time. Also, for longer recordings, managing and organizing videos could be simpler. These are small issues, but they can slow down work slightly during busy days.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom solves the problem of explaining the same things again and again in person or on calls. I use it to record clear videos for diet chart explanations and general patient guidance. This saves time and helps avoid misunderstandings.
For my daily work, it makes communication easier and more consistent. Patients and clients can watch the video anytime and understand the instructions clearly. This helps me manage my work better and focus more on consultations instead of repeating explanations.

 ### 44. Smart Auto Video Titles and Captions That Just Work

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** gabriela c. | Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I like that it automatically adds a title to the video based on what’s being talked about in it, and that it also adds captions.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

I don’t like that the free plan doesn’t let you edit the video. To do that, you first have to download the video and then use another tool. But once you upload it again afterward, it’s not as effective for understanding what’s being said, and the captions also tend to be inaccurate.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily share, via a link, the customized videos I create for each job application. Since it’s becoming widely used by different companies, I had to learn how to use it on the go, and it ended up becoming one of my preferred tools for video sharing. It’s also a polished, modern way to showcase my videos.

 ### 45. Effortless Video Walkthroughs That Boost Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit R. | Revenue Data Analyst, Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

What I appreciate most about Loom is how easily it transforms complicated explanations into straightforward, easy-to-follow video walkthroughs. Rather than sending lengthy messages or scheduling additional meetings, I can simply record a quick screen share to illustrate dashboards, share data insights, or walk through specific processes. The video quality is outstanding, sharing happens instantly, and it’s ideal for collaborating with international teams who can view and revisit the videos whenever it suits them. Loom saves time, minimizes misunderstandings, and greatly improves the efficiency of asynchronous communication.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

While Loom is very helpful, processing longer recordings can be time-consuming, and there are sometimes glitches such as audio delays or screen lag. The editing features are fairly basic, which means that even minor changes often require starting over with a new recording. Additionally, handling and organizing a large number of videos can become confusing if there isn't a well-defined folder system in place.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom addresses the issue of overcommunication and eliminates the need for unnecessary meetings by allowing me to record concise, clear video walkthroughs rather than lengthy written explanations. This tool enhances my ability to collaborate with teams across the globe, minimizes the need to repeat instructions, and accelerates both onboarding and feedback processes. In general, it significantly improves the speed, clarity, and efficiency of asynchronous communication.

 ### 46. Effortless Screen Recording and Seamless Sharing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sanket P. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

What I like about Loom is that it allows me to easily create screen recording videos for websites, issues, bugs, and demos. I can quickly share these videos with others so they can clearly see the details and understand the context without confusion. It also integrates with my calendar, which lets me sync and manage my scheduled meetings directly in Loom. Additionally, Loom saves time by reducing the need for long meetings or back-and-forth messages, since everything can be explained clearly in a single video.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

One thing I dislike about Loom is that it can feel slightly complex for first-time users. When I start recording, it's not always clear whether my audio is being recorded correctly. which can be confusing. Also, if I record a long video, it takes more time to process before it's ready to share. Another small issue is that if I make a mistake while recording, I usually have to re-record the entire video instead of easily editing small parts. Other than these points, I don't have any major dislikes about Loom.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom solves the problem of clearly explaining technical issues, features, and demos without requiring real-time meetings. As a backend developer, when I test a frontend website and find a bug, I record the full process in Loom to show exactly how the issue can be reproduced. I then share the video link with my colleague, which helps them understand the problem quickly and fix it accurately. Loom is also very useful when I work on client projects and need to give a demo. I can record a complete walkthrough with my screen and audio explanation and share the video anywhere, making it easy for the client to understand the product without scheduling a live call. Additionally, when I build a new feature and need to explain how users should use it, I create a Loom video as a step-by-step guide and share or host it on my website. This helps users understand the feature and reduces confusion or support questions. Loom also allows me to sync my calendar, so I can see and manage my scheduled meetings in one place. On top of that, Loom saves time by reducing the need for repeated explanations or meetings. since one video can be reused multiple times. It also improves communication by providing visual context, which is especially helpful when explaining complex technical workflows. Loom also makes collaboration easier because teammates can watch the video at their own pace and revisit it whenever needed. Additionally, it creates a clear record of discussions, demos, or issues, which is useful for future reference or onboarding new team members.

 ### 47. Ridiculously Simple Video Updates, Powered by Helpful AI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Loom?**

The tool is simple and easy to use. I love being able to make videos about things that we don't have to have a meeting on. It's ridiculously simple to use right out of the box. And the AI elements have taken large scale projects and helped massively simplify them.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

Some of the editing features don't work quite as well as they feel like they should. But those are mostly "nice to have"'s.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us send personalized videos to thank donors for joining our nonprofit.

 ### 48. Effortless Video Creation with Seamless Sharing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben B. | Dialer Enablement Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I love how easy it is to get into the Loom app and start recording a video quickly. The quick one link share button is really convenient, making it easy to share a video once it's done. All you have to do is click the share button, and it gives you a direct link to share with customers. As someone working at a small startup, speed is really important, and Loom lets me start creating videos swiftly. I also love the fact that it can show a little screen of my face while recording, making the videos more personalized. Initial setup was as easy as it gets.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

I had a hard time navigating to the record video button when logging in through Atlassian. It one time, it took me about ten minutes to find the right place in the app. That was a bit confusing.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Loom to create video content for customers, making it easy to send new feature requests and best practices. It streamlines communication with a quick setup, recording ease, and a simple share button for direct video links.

 ### 49. Effortless Video Communication and Sharing with Loom

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshat S. | Operations Team, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Loom?**

I have been using Loom for more than 3 years now and the most interesting part of this software is that it helps us in recording our videos from the front camera along with screen recording from our mobile phones and the complete content if being generated and uploaded in the cloud storage of Loom and then it can be shared with the help of link to our team members. This makes the process of video communication much easier.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

One of the major challenge that I faced while working with loom in our business was that whenever I recorded long videos the complete time in uploading and link generation also become too long and the software always put a limit in the long video durations so it is good tool mainly for short video sessions.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loom has helped us in creating better communication culture in our organisation also the total number of meetings that now we conduct now is much more less than last year. This software saves us a lot of time and resource that we used to invest before for conducting meeting regularly for everything.

 ### 50. Easy to use, time saving screen recording software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garrick C. | Staff Software Engineer, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Loom?**

The integrated native app is extremely useful for an easy way to start a screen recording without having to go to a website.

The automated transcriptions are also extremely clear and useful.

**What do you dislike about Loom?**

In some cases it was difficult to get the native desktop version to record without losing the recording.

Selecting which screen to record could be improved in the desktop app.

**What problems is Loom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recording application and software related overviews and demos that are easy to share with teammates and customers. It helps to give quick videos for context on related software changes.
