We appreciate your feedback about the word cloud, and we encourage you to download the latest free updates to enjoy its many features. Word clouds instantly show words and their frequencies, and there are many features to take this analysis further in all sorts of directions. For example, you can filter for specific parts of speech and only see adjectives, nouns, or any other part of speech of interest. ATLAS.ti can also group words together by their inflected forms (such as words in past, present, and future tense), which is a great help for decluttering and gaining a better understanding. Besides seeing word frequencies of entire documents, it's easy to create a word cloud from specific codes or documents, which permits a more focused analysis on a subset of data. Word clouds can also be edited with stop/go lists, exported as images, and more. If you are not seeing a particular feature, we kindly recommend downloading all the latest updates to the software so that you can enjoy the full host of features (ATLAS.ti licenses offer access to all features on all platforms for one flat fee).
