"AI visibility data we can actually act on"
5/5
What do you like best about AthenaHQ?

We switched from another AI visibility platform after six months of frustration. The difference is night and day. What sold us was the Action Center. Instead of staring at dashboards wondering what to prioritize, AthenaHQ surfaces specific opportunities with context. Last week it flagged a knowledge gap around our pricing tiers that we hadn't noticed. Turned out ChatGPT was hallucinating our enterprise pricing because we'd never published it clearly. Fixed it, saw results within two weeks.

The Shopify and GA4 integrations also let us finally answer the CFO's favorite question: "How much revenue did AI search actually drive?" We can now tie citations back to conversions. That alone justified the spend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AthenaHQ?

The credit system took some getting used to. We burned through credits faster than expected the first month because we enabled too many prompts across all engines at once. In the end support was very helpful and helped us right-size our setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"GEO That Understands Ecommerce and Product Depth"
5/5
What do you like best about AthenaHQ?

For an ecommerce‑driven brand, AthenaHQ’s product and commerce view is a real differentiator. We can see how AI systems talk about our key categories, which products are most visible, and where we’re losing out on high‑intent journeys. That level of granularity is what lets us connect GEO work to merchandising decisions and retail media strategy.

The platform treats ‘commerce in AI’ as a first‑class use case, not an afterthought. We get insights at the category and product level, plus guidance on which pages, offers, and bundles to adjust. Our ecommerce, SEO, and performance teams now share a single source of truth for AI‑driven discovery, which has reduced guesswork and helped us prioritize the few changes that will actually move revenue. What do you dislike about AthenaHQ?

No real complaints from me at this point, it’s doing what we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An AEO Tool for PMM Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about AthenaHQ?

AthenaHQ makes AI search and GEO understandable for non‑technical marketers. The dashboards answer simple questions like ‘How are we described?’ and ‘Who are we compared against?’ and then immediately show which messages and assets to adjust. That bridge from abstract AI behavior to concrete positioning work has been incredibly helpful for our PMM team.

The in‑product guidance is strong: templates, examples, and prioritized recommendations walk us through launches, repositioning, and competitive defense. Instead of needing a specialist to translate every insight, PMMs can use AthenaHQ directly to shape messaging, pick proof points, and brief creative partners. It feels like a GEO‑native companion to our positioning docs, not just another analytics tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AthenaHQ?

Haven’t run into anything I dislike so far, everything works as expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform's overall capabilities, flexibility, and ease of maneuvering around to access the specific prompts and result analysis. "One of the Best AEO Tools for SMBs and Enterprise Brands"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AthenaHQ?

I’ve tried a number of AEO, GEO, and AI search tools on the market, and AthenaHQ stood out for providing the most granular and actionable insights. The platform makes it easy to track prompts, uncover topic opportunities, analyze competitors, and optimize content to improve AI visibility based on real data. We continue to use AthenaHQ to monitor priority keywords (prompts) across LLMs, which has become an important part of our workflow.

The team was also super responsive whenever we encountered platform issues and consistently used our feedback to help refine the product. Because we used AthenaHQ in an enterprise capacity, they often operated like an extension of our team, providing strategic guidance to help educate our team on the evolving AI search landscape and how to position ourselves for success within it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AthenaHQ?

I can’t think of anything I disliked. As with most AEO and SEO tools, there’s a short learning curve when first getting started, especially given how new the AI search space is. That said, the AthenaHQ team was always quick to answer questions, and their in-platform playbook made it easy to get up to speed and fully understand the platform’s functionality. "Worth it just for the knowledge gap detection"
5/5
What do you like best about AthenaHQ?

We're a management consulting firm. Our reputation depends on being seen as experts in specific domains. When AI models answer questions about our practice areas, we need to be cited accurately. Or at least not have misinformation spread about us.

AthenaHQ's knowledge gap detection caught something our team had missed entirely. ChatGPT was confidently stating our hourly rates, except the numbers were wrong by a factor of two. We'd never published our pricing publicly, so the model was hallucinating based on industry averages. That's the kind of thing that poisons a sales conversation before it starts.

The platform flagged this as a "knowledge gap" and recommended we create authoritative content about our engagement models. We did, and the hallucinated pricing stopped appearing within a few weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AthenaHQ?

Setup also took longer than expected because our industry terminology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"From GEO Insights to Execution in a Single Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about AthenaHQ?

AthenaHQ is the first GEO platform that actually connects AI visibility insights to real execution. Instead of just telling us where we show up, it prioritizes opportunities and plugs them directly into the workflows our SEO and content teams already use. The result is that we move from identified gap to shipped content or optimization in hours, not weeks.

What stands out most is how operator-friendly the product is. Workspaces, playbooks, and integrations are built around day‑to‑day tasks, not just pretty dashboards, so adoption has spread beyond a small specialist team. Our execs get the high-level answer share trends they need, while practitioners get concrete actions that are realistically achievable in the sprint cycle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AthenaHQ?

Nothing so far that I’ve noticed, still waiting to find something I don’t like Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Practical GEO for B2B, Not Just Theory"
5/5
What do you like best about AthenaHQ?

I like that it finally gives us a clear view of how we show up in AI answers, without a bunch of jargon. It’s easy to see which questions we’re winning, which ones we’re missing, and what changed week to week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AthenaHQ?

Nothing major so far. If anything, I’m still exploring everything it can do, so I haven’t bumped into a real annoyance yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good for Figuring Out What Content to Fix"
5/5
What do you like best about AthenaHQ?

The best thing is that it ties GEO/AEO directly to our content backlog. We can see which questions and journeys actually matter, then push those opportunities into our planning, so we’re not just guessing what to publish next. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AthenaHQ?

At this point, I don’t really have complaints. It does what we brought it in to do, and we haven’t hit any big issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nice Way to Track Our AI Presence"
5/5
What do you like best about AthenaHQ?

The best part is how it connects insights to actual work. I log in, see where we’re under‑represented in AI results, and it points me to specific topics and pages to fix instead of just dumping data on me Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AthenaHQ?

They do too many feature releases and it's hard to keep track, maybe they should do a newsletter Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
