We'd been struggling as an org with a robust opt-in email list, but lacked details about our audience composition, which of course severely constrains personalization and segmentation. AtData, which now works in sync with our incumbent vendor FreshAddress, proposed a valuable yet economicaly-reasonable solution to some of these formidable challenges with various custom-tailored 2nd-person data solutions. Like everyone else, they lack a "magic bullet" to resolve the recent iOS-specific changes inflicted on the email channel by Apple. Cannot say it is fair to place blame here though. Nobody seems to have found a viable workaround so far. We're working toward a younger demographic, as are most (if not every) discount retailers in the space with B+M as well as ecomm blended channels. Identifying and laser-focusing on addressing the needs of these various groups is key given the rapid turnaround of so many SKUs and product categories in the closeout space. AtData provides a variety of data hygiene services that we use, including data validation and email change of address. Through the validation process, AtData isolates bad and duplicate data and provides recommendations on how to handle said data. The more frequently a validation is done, the better and stronger your data becomes. Through the email change of address process, AtData will recommend testing new email addresses for your inactive constituents. Deliverability is very important and having a quick way to get a pulse from AtData is now part of all we do with our email campaigns. Great tool for B2B email scrubbing as well. Using this software at work has been one of the best privileges I've ever had, as I use my email daily to communicate with the different departments of my company, customers, and IT product providers, and I manage my email with great agility thanks to TowerData, which allows me to verify large email lists in a short time verifying that these emails exist, and running spelling errors that have email addresses. I also use TowerData to apply anti-spam filters to prohibit these emails from entering my inbox.
