Atalaya is a press monitoring service (monitoreo de prensa) built for Chile. It tells communications teams what the Chilean press said about their company, their clients and their industry, without anyone reading fifty news sites every morning. Atalaya reads 99 Chilean digital news outlets: 27 national, 6 regional and 66 specialized. The 20 largest are checked every 5 minutes and the rest every 3 hours. Articles that tell the same story are grouped into one topic, so a client sees one event covered by six outlets instead of six separate links. The full list of outlets, with how often each one is read and when it was last read, is public on the coverage page. Each client sets up spaces: one per brand, client, person or issue, each with its own keywords. A space can be shared with the whole team or kept private. When a keyword appears, Atalaya sends an email alert. Every day it also writes an executive summary of what happened and why it matters, so a manager can read one paragraph instead of a list of headlines. Atalaya compares each keyword with its normal volume. When coverage suddenly rises, it flags the spike, shows how far above normal it is and names the story that caused it, which gives teams time to respond before a reputational problem grows. Weekly and monthly reports show volume, outlets, tone and the items that need attention, and they export to PDF, with your own logo and colors on the Equipo plan. Vigía, Atalaya's AI assistant, answers questions about the monitored coverage in plain Spanish, such as what was said about a company this week, and cites the articles behind every answer. Atalaya is used by communications agencies, law firms, trade associations, public affairs teams and regulated companies. It covers digital media only: it does not transcribe TV or radio broadcasts and does not read print editions. Plans are priced in Chilean pesos with VAT included, paid by bank transfer, and every new account starts with a 14-day free trial of the Profesional plan, no credit card required.
