I love how easy and seamless it is. I record with all the tools I need right there and then a few clicks and I can do so many diff things with my audio from that point. I love how easy everything is to use. I've tried 3 other recording softwares and they are so overly complicated, glitchy, and unreliable. The editing tools are also so easy to use and being able to go from audio only, to video and audio is so awesome as a feature! I use it weekly and it's been a game changer for me and my podcast. I have used tools like Audacity and Reaper in the past. They are sophisticated general audio tools that are great for musicians and professional audio engineers. They are overkill for a podcaster. Podcastle provides EXACTLY the tools that a podcaster needs. It is super simple and efficient. Especially perfect for a beginning podcaster.

"But those other tools are free" people say. If their complexity makes them harder to learn and makes your recording and editing process take longer then they are NOT free. My time is too valuable to waste on the learning curve and the inefficient process of using those do-everything-for-everybody products. I also don't drive a semi truck to pick up groceries. Sure, it would work, but it is overkill for the job at hand.

Podcastle makes recording and editing so fast. Record, snip here and there, apply the "Magic Dust" to polish the clip, and move on. Drag and drop clips to line up with the music tracks for your Intro and Outro, a couple of mouse clicks to add fades. Boom. Done.

If you are a brand-new podcaster and new to audio recording and editing, you'll get to the important work of making content faster with Podcastle. There are many features they offer with their paid subscription. The music and Fx are really good. They help complete your idea and give your podcast character. The editing is very easy as well. The best part to me is that they will publish your show on all of the major podcast platforms so you don't have to take time and have a million sign-ins for you to get your show out there. If I had to put something down that I didn't like is that there isn't a free trial so you can use all of the features. The basic package does not come with the music or the FX or the publishing so you have to pay a subscription to just test it out, but you are able to get out of the subscription at any time so there really isn't a down side.
