Astrill is ok, but not a game changer **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2021 **What do you like best about Astrill VPN?** Astrill is super easy to install, that's a big plus. I was actually impressed by the ease of installation and use. **What do you dislike about Astrill VPN?** However, astrill does not make the grade as far as a couple of things go. It doesn't bypass country level firewalls in hostile places very well, it is not super fast, and the number of servers leaves something to be desired. **Recommendations to others considering Astrill VPN:** If just want anonymization in western countries, fine. Astrill is ok. The pricing & ease-of-use is great. If you travel to locations that have hostile network policies in place, try something else. **What problems is Astrill VPN solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have evaluated Astrill and used it for a while, however, it doesn't leave me thinking it's the best possible solution. I do like the installation and ease of use, but using a vpn is far more comprehensive than just getting it to run.
