I used to work on Asterisk platform a long time ago, what can I remember was a very simple setup, even for MS Windows users. Today, system I was working on is still up and running. We are streaming events from it - depends who is calling whom, we based a lot of business logic. I remember one interesting thing - I needed user pwd (totally forgot for what).
