I've been using Asset Tiger to manage my equipment and supplies, and it's made things way easier for me. Since it's free and works on any device, I can check or update my inventory whether I'm at my desk or on the go. I really like how I can scan barcodes with my phone to quickly find items, and the app lets me customize how I organize everything so it fits my needs. It also reminds me when it's time to service or check certain tools, which helps me stay on top of maintenance. Asset Tiger is solving the problem of keeping track of all our equipment and supplies in one organized place. Before using it, I was relying on spreadsheets and manual notes, which got messy and hard to manage—especially when things went missing or needed maintenance. Now, I can easily see what I own, where it is, and when it needs attention. It’s also helping me stay on top of repairs and servicing with automatic reminders, which saves me from unexpected breakdowns. Simplicity and practicality. It gives us a centralized, cloud-based system to track everything from AVL gear to HVAC units without complex setup or high costs. The barcode check-in/check-out system is especially useful for managing shared equipment, and the maintenance scheduling helps us stay ahead of preventative tasks. Its web platform is intuitive, and asset records are easy to customize with photos, receipts, and notes. For a free tool, it offers exceptional value and supports our goal of faithful stewardship by reducing loss, improving accountability, and streamlining our asset management process. The mobile app is clunky and often slow, which frustrates staff trying to scan items in the field. User roles are overly broad, limiting how precisely we can control access. It also lacks a built-in reservation system, making it hard to manage shared gear without external calendars. There’s no integration with platforms like Google Workspace, Asana, or Slack, which limits workflow automation. Before using it, our team often struggled to locate shared equipment, remember service schedules, or track who was responsible for what. Now, with centralized records, barcode tracking, and scheduled alerts, we’ve significantly reduced misplaced items and maintenance gaps. It’s also helped streamline communication between departments by giving everyone visibility into what we own and where it’s assigned. It traces all software and hardware components from one point to another thus, indicating where they are duplicated and where one or the other are not. The double entry knock me down with Asseti is the biggest of the evils. Sometimes the same asset exists in multiple entry that affect performance reports and sources the generation of correct overview of the inventory stock. Assetti has done away with guessing and this is thanks to the online software. It is no more helpful to be under time pressure or unused to latest versions of spreadsheets. Setting up and utilizing AssetTiger is relatively straightforward. AssetTiger makes it simple to keep track of our assets, which is crucial. It has some good features like asset cloning that allows one to stock up on massive numbers of the same assets. Attaching asset photos and related documentation like quotes/ purchase orders/ invoices is another helpful resource. We print asset tags and use scanner to make sign-in or checkout entries. What do you dislike about AssetTiger? It lacks multifactor authentication, which is one of the primary requirements of software these days, given the security issues around SaaS-based software. As part of our annual audits, we have to maintain a list of assets in inventory, calculate the depreciation value of the assets and ensure that all purchases in the organization are tagged appropriately. Using asset manager, we print our asset tags and then issue those tags to any new asset in the organization. There are several spots where things might be improved. AssetTiger's browser-based version is far superior to the smartphone app. The smartphone app is convenient since it allows you to scanning barcodes with the cameras on any smartphone, however, it is laggy and glitchy. I used assettiger to manage my company and track who is using this, particularly via asset tags. It will help me to know asset values and maintenance reports, monthly auditing. Previously I maintain my company assets in spreadsheets that could be more horrible because if any assets are missing I can't able to track which one is missing and how I spend for maintenance but assettiger is the best solution to track all and get all customized reports also.
