"An excellent self-study platform with powerful AI tools, and an extensive question bank"
5/5
What do you like best about AssessPrep?

What I appreciate most about AssessPrep is the depth and quality of its question bank. As a parent supporting my children’s self-study at home, it was often difficult to find reliable and curriculum-focused practice material in one place. AssessPrep makes this process incredibly easy by providing a huge collection of ready-to-use questions. The AI-powered features are also very useful because they can instantly create fresh variations of practice questions, helping my children stay engaged and continue improving without repetitive learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AssessPrep?

Overall, the experience has been very positive. If I had to suggest one improvement, I would like to see additional gamification features added to make longer study sessions even more interactive and motivating for students. However, the platform’s core functionality and content quality are already excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An absolute lifesaver! Incredible AI authoring and question banks."
5/5
What do you like best about AssessPrep?

Time is my most scarce resource as a teacher. The blend of their massive, high-quality question banks with brilliant AI authoring tools is phenomenal. What is truly great is using the AI authoring to instantly generate rigorous, curriculum-aligned questions on the fly. I can pull foundation questions and instantly spin up alternate versions for different class periods. It turns hours of weekend planning into minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AssessPrep?

There is a slight learning curve. Initially, figuring out how to embed videos into custom questions took a little trial and error. Additionally, getting the lockdown feature set up and running for the students was initially tough. However, once we got the hang of it, the payoff was completely worth it. "A Fantastic Self-study Tool for my Kids with Great Question Banks and AI Features"
5/5
What do you like best about AssessPrep?

I absolutely love AssessPrep's massive, high-quality question bank and AI features. As a parent facilitating my children's self-study at home, finding reliable, curriculum-aligned practice questions used to be exhausting. AssessPrep gives us instant access to a huge repository of pre-made content. Furthermore, the AI features are fantastic---they help generate new practice question variations on the fly, keeping my kids challenged without me having to constantly search for new materials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AssessPrep?

There isnt much to dislike. Occasionally, I wish there were a few more gamification elements to keep students engaged during longer self-study sessions at home, but the core features and content quality are already excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about AssessPrep is its huge collection of curriculum-focused practice questions and AI-powered tools. It makes self-study easier by generating fresh question variations and helping students stay engaged with personalized practice sessions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AssessPrep?

The platform is already very useful, but adding more gamification features could make long study sessions more interactive and motivating for students. Apart from that, the overall experience and content quality have been excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile Assessment Tool with Room for Feedback Improvements"
5/5
What do you like best about AssessPrep?

I like using AssessPrep because it provides a quick way to assess students formatively or summatively with different types of questions like multiple choice, select, long answer, and table. It makes designing assessments versatile for short quizzes, in-depth assessments, and structured exercises, making them comprehensive, versatile, and engaging. I also appreciate the ability to deliver tests with multiple modes. The initial setup of AssessPrep was easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AssessPrep?

I don't like needing to download each file and emailing it to students. When students take tests as guests, they should include an email so you can send them their feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Assessprep interface makes assessment designing, grading a BREEZE."
5/5
What do you like best about AssessPrep?

The entire interface closely mirrors the E-assessment format, making it easier for teachers to design assessments that incorporate a variety of media rather than being limited to just written tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AssessPrep?

The school's assessment database is not well organized. There is a significant amount of duplication because accessing assessments by grade level is not practical. If it were possible to have a system similar to a Drive, it would make it much easier for faculty to avoid creating duplicates and to remove unnecessary copies. "User-Friendly and Customizable, Needs Smoother ManageBac Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about AssessPrep?

The platform is user-friendly and allows for easy customization of tests. There are also plenty of filters available, making it convenient to view and organize papers. Good customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AssessPrep?

I don't have a strong dislike for AssessPrep, but I do encounter some issues. Occasionally, videos fail to play, and the Math tools often do not function properly on Mac laptops, which means I have to refresh the application frequently. Additionally, I would appreciate a smoother integration with ManageBac, especially for uploading marks according to the task categories. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enhanced User Experience, Continuous Improvements"
4/5
What do you like best about AssessPrep?

I have been using AssessPrep for over six years, primarily for preparing papers, formative assessments, and summative assessments for grades nine and ten. Over time, I've seen significant improvements in its user interface, making it much more accessible to both students and teachers. The updates have made it easier to access and use features like pick and drop graphics and multimedia integrations, allowing the creation of highly interactive and multimodal question papers. I particularly appreciate how AssessPrep aligns with the IBE assessment pattern, and the improvements in the user interface that have enhanced navigation and usability for all users. It also offers a wide variety of assessments through a library of past papers, which aligns well with the assessment tests and provides flexibility in differentiation and selection across various topics. The autocorrect feature, especially for multiple choice questions, is a highlight and provides invaluable assistance in grading. Overall, AssessPrep's updates have continually improved user experience, making it a preferred tool in educational assessments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AssessPrep?

When I initially started using AssessPrep, it wasn't very user-friendly and the setup process was difficult. The graphing features, in particular, were confusing for both students and teachers. The initial access for different users and the timing aspects were also challenging. Integration with other software, like Todle for reporting, is lacking, which limits seamless workflow. Additionally, I find using Geogebra for graphing not entirely intuitive and would prefer an alternative or more simplified solution. The lack of pick-and-drop options for certain subjects, like in chemistry for molecular formulas, requires unnecessary effort, such as drawing them instead of picking and dropping. "Faster Grading, But Limited Editing Options"
3.5/5
What do you like best about AssessPrep?

Takes less time to correct than a paper test because of it's limitations of only using computer keys Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AssessPrep?

certain aspects are non-editable so mistakes aren't reversible such as removing students from my "grading" that accidently got there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
