The activity feed is also a helpful tool to measure my workflow and manage who made what changes in a file. **What do you dislike about Assembly Neos?** If there is an internet issue, you are at a loss. I find values to be more difficult than it needs to be. In Needles, everything was more simple and the settlement money showed in red. The search function brings cases up in an order that is not realivant. It is also missing key information (like which attorney is handling the case). If there are multiple clients with the same name, you have to click through each case to find the one you're looking for which is time consuming. The cases also do not display if there is a Jr. or Sr. causing you to dig to find if you are working in the correct file. A lot of the features that might be helpful are considered add on products (like manging intakes) and I'm not sure why we would pay more money for more features when the ones we have are not that great. If I'm being honest, Needles was much more user friendly. **What problems is Assembly Neos solving and how is that benefiting you?** Neos allows you to see who changed something in a case and that's about the only real benefit I see over our previous software. ### 13. Our office has over 1,000 clients and Neos makes it easy to find them within just a few seconds. It's also great that you can link the case documents to the documents folder on the desktop. You can also create notes for each case, that way when someone else in the office is talking to a client, they can look at the notes to see what is going on with their case. **What do you dislike about Assembly Neos?** The only issue I have had while using Neos is the technical issues. There are times where it wont load or wont open a page. It can be stressful when clients call in to check the status and we are unable to pull their case up. **What problems is Assembly Neos solving and how is that benefiting you?** One problem that we often face is clients or the Social Security office returning a voicemail that we left, or they're calling back and forget who they spoke with originally. Having the notes in needles with the name of the person who spoke with them makes it easy to solve that problem. Another common problem is clients emailing or faxing documents to our office and need to know if we received them. As long as we submit the documents to their file, we would just need to pull their case up in Neos to find out if we received that. ### 15. I also was having to input the same information multiple times, in multiple areas. It felt repetitive at times. It took a lot of time to learn to use. It was not the easiest out of the softwares I have used. Neos is a newer system to our office as we were Needles users prior and it has been a breeze to implement. All of the medical providers, records, billing, parties, documents, etc. And it's neatly organized in tabs so that the information doesn't get lost. I also love the ability to link it with my email to be able to tag them and with my calendar to make sure events are not missed. I use it every single day and it integrates perfectly with the rest of the apps I use. It's also very user friendly, new people who come into the firm are able to implement it to their day to day very easily. **What do you dislike about Assembly Neos?** The one thing I would say I'm not a huge fan of is how every few days it logs me out of my account. I love that documents and notes/emails/texts/calls are consolidated and stored in one place where you can easily search for keywords at the case or firm level. Merging and removing duplicate contacts is fast and easy. Actually, just about everything in Neos is faster and easier than our old software, TrialWorks. The best decision we made was switching to Neos, because we kept some of the same trainers and points of contact from our days with TrialWorks and then we got a dedicated customer support team that helped us every step of the way in our transition to Neos. Most firms migrate in 16-20 weeks, but we knew what we wanted, kept our foot on the gas, and made the switch in just 10 weeks. The transition was straightforward, plenty of time for training and NO downtime needed to cut over to Neos. The learning curve after go live was only a few days where we were a little slower than usual, instead of the screeching halt in productivity and employee kick back we faced when we launched TrialWorks. It took us more than a year to settle in to TrialWorks, but with Neos, we were settled in under a week. We are still optimizing features, templates and layouts in Neos 6 months after launch, but basic functionality is in place and continuous improvements only make us faster. **What do you dislike about Assembly Neos?** We do not like that there is no way to quickly summarize and email intake information. Firms either have to build a template or copy and paste. We were very excited for Zoom Phone integration and the AI tools, but found both are too early in development to be useful. We were hyped up and trained to think the functionalities would be game changing, and instead, none of the functions lived up to our expectations. Neos tends to "bury" simple tasks under multiple clicks. For instance, instead of double clicking an address on the party tab to make an edit, users have to scroll to the far right to find the pencil icon, click it and then make the edit. Our users have tried reordering the fields and saving the changes, but the changes do not stick. Neos should at least move the pencil icon to the far left so it is easier to correct addresses in one click. 2nd example of "buried" functionality are the provider (contact) associations. It would be nice to see all provider associations (cases in which a contact is used) in the left tabs with Notes and Documents when viewing individual contact records. instead you have to click three or four levels down just to get an associated case listing for any given contact/provider. Finally, Neos could EASILY replace DropBox for many firms IF the Sharepoint "share this file" functionality was accessible through buttons in the main Neos document interface and for multiple files at the same time. Users would also need a prompt to select whether they want the recipient to "view and download" or "open and edit" each item. There are no “access options” by default and recipients often say they are not able to open our documents. **What problems is Assembly Neos solving and how is that benefiting you?** Remote access hurdles have been resolved because as long as you have internet, you have your case data. Neos is helping us keep better records and better documentation on each of our cases. Neos is also REALLY helping us standardize our processes and naming procedures.
