Clunky and Poorly Planned **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2024 **What do you like best about Assembly Neos?** I like the "preview panes" that come up in the documents folder, and it is easy to figure out where everything is. **What do you dislike about Assembly Neos?** Most tasks require an excessive number of steps to complete -- for example, to mark something "N/A" on the checklist, you have to open a separate window and select N/A from a drop down menu, when that menu could have easily been made available on the checklist page. I also don't like that so many things cannot be edited or customized even by the partners at the firm. The checklist provides another example of this -- we prefer setting the "completed" date as the date the task was in fact completed, but if someone forgets to check off that item on that date, the only choice is to mark it as completed as of the date it was checked off. **What problems is Assembly Neos solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ideally Neos would be a time-saver so that I can work through my caseload more efficiently, but most of the time that is not the case. If this is what it actually did for me, that would be a huge benefit to me as I would be much more efficient. ### 2. That's ok. **What do you dislike about Assembly Neos?** If I tag e-mails to the case I end up with more than 50 notes. Well, all my cases have more than 50 notes, and Neos designed it so that you can't scroll through more than 50 notes. and if you get close to the 50th note, you end up in note "0/50" and can't scroll anywhere. I reported this as a bug and Neos said "nope, that's how we designed it" It's not user friendly. Also the document creation is not as easy as Needles was. Also, the training was not very good, and every question I had during training the trainer had to go and consult with someone else. We had to pay for training, and it was a terrible experience. **What problems is Assembly Neos solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's actually creating more problems than solving any. ### 3. I have never had so many valid excuses as to why something wasn't done or something wasn't posted. The tag feature on posting a message from outlook to neos is really nice and has a 50/50 shot of actually being there. **What do you dislike about Assembly Neos?** My finger is sore from scrolling so much to get to anything. The screen is so gray and bland that after a while its hard to read what you're looking at.
