## Assemble Reviews
  ### 1. Assemble Field Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Assemble?**

One of the best features assemble has is the option to generate various metrics and ways to track work progress. Visualizations of the model on web browsers is another great feature to share and review models and track progress.

**What do you dislike about Assemble?**

Selecting objects is difficult on mobile devices. The explode feature does help, but is still tedious.

**What problems is Assemble solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting hard numbers for percent complete on installations.

  ### 2. Enable others to validate model based takeoffs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kevin j. | construction modeling specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Assemble?**

Assembles ability to enable others to validate model based takeoffs, means that its a great tool to extract data out of a model and into excel. This means instead of a BIM guy having to use revit schedules or navisworks takeoff manager the takeoff can be preformed by anyone with basic computer skills. Intergration with revit is great.

**What do you dislike about Assemble?**

intergration with softwares like tekla is not that great. Also seen better results with revit than CAD but i am sure thats changed since Autodesk aquired it.

**Recommendations to others considering Assemble:**

Glue also allows a much less comprehensive version of model comparison but only visually and not with quantities able to be extracted.

**What problems is Assemble solving and how is that benefiting you?**

model based takeoffs. Model visualization.

  ### 3. Its a nice experiance

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Assemble?**

Easy to use de plateforme...............

**What do you dislike about Assemble?**

Long loading with large model.....................

**What problems is Assemble solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The speed of extracting information

  ### 4. Great for Model Sharing to Masses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Assemble?**

Easy to share models with others without software installations/requirements.

**What do you dislike about Assemble?**

Initial interface can be a bit overwhelming at first for new users; however, ultimately, after some training, people have learned it well.

**What problems is Assemble solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assisting us in model quantification, scope division/clarifications, sequencing of concrete pours, modification of other colors/parameters for better model/project understanding, etc.

  ### 5. Automate Construction Data

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Assemble?**

User Friendly and quantification woirks great

**What do you dislike about Assemble?**

No Views gets gebnerated based on Attributes or metadata. (example, Construction Work Packages - It would be great to have an automated method to generate views based on construction data. The user then (Foreman) can selkect his work packages from the views.

**What problems is Assemble solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Advance work packaging

  ### 6. Assemble Systems Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Assemble?**

I love how intuitive Assemble is. It works exactly how it is meant to, as a simple model viewing and statusing interface. That simplicity allows non VDC users to utilize the software while allowing for deeper use from VDC experienced users.

**What do you dislike about Assemble?**

Frankly, sometimes it is just slow. Slow to load, slow to make changes. It is probably affected my model size, but you would hope that a browser based solution would have excellent processing times.

**What problems is Assemble solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The initial uses were in preconstruction for visualization of models and quantity take offs. Since then, we have moved it into the operation phase for field visualization and statusing of elements.

  ### 7. Robust system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James B. | Project Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Assemble?**

I like the fact that non-BIM professionals can learn Assemble easily. Getting the power of the model in estimators hands is huge.

**What do you dislike about Assemble?**

The pricing model. You should offer a per user pricing at a lower cost.

**Recommendations to others considering Assemble:**

Its a great program and has helped me a lot.

**What problems is Assemble solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assemble has made my tracking process of ceiling and wall panels very easy and quick. Having an offline option on the Ipad app has made my work way easier!

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Assemble?**

Assemble has been a great tool for tracking verious metrics on our jobsite. We're constructing a vaccine manufacturing facility and have used it to track concrete (foundations and stair core) progress, clean room installation progress and also for our building envelope system. I'd recommend Assemble as it's easy to use and offers a great visual.

  ### 36. Assemble for quantities

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Assemble?**

The simple interface allows ease of use and navigation, the Field Coordinators prefer the tool over Navisworks as the PC's they have do not have the capacity nor do they have time to learn the interface for Navisworks.

**What do you dislike about Assemble?**

There is a bit of delay on graphics loading and that there is no Navisworks and Civil 3D integration. The JV I am on is a Civil Infrastructure project and it is critical to have a working Civil 3D and or Navisworks to allow those files up on Assemble.

**Recommendations to others considering Assemble:**

Wait and see what happens with the Autodesk integration, they might make a mess of the program.

**What problems is Assemble solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 38. Great Model Viewer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron G. | Estimator, Construction, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2017

**What do you like best about Assemble?**

Assemble allows for you to manage the model/information across multiple panes in an easy to use manner. You can hide elements you are unconcerned with, save custom views and the viewing options (walking/exploding) are fast and efficient. Unlike other softwares, we have found that the quantities are more accurate and can be used for takeoff if the modeler uses a consistent naming convention.

**What do you dislike about Assemble?**

Right now, it does take more effort than I would like to get the spreadsheets in a usable format. It is often faster to export information to excel, and use custom columns to tag certain elements than to use Assemble's features. This requires you to have 3 screens and sometimes you become cross-eyed.If assemble were to create a way to easily tag objects for takeoff purposes, I would have no complaints.

**Recommendations to others considering Assemble:**

Assemble is a great product for companies that have a VDC team that can clean up the model and a precon team that only needs to view.

**What problems is Assemble solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Assemble has reduced the time it takes to generate takeoff quantities and gain an understanding for projects. The easy to use functions allow for us to take early architectural models and fill in the blanks in an intuitive manner. When you are in conceptual or schematic design, Assemble provides a solid bridge for information.
