“AskYourDatabase” is one of those products that didn’t trick you with its name. 😉 Even when I saw some points for improvement, it works quite amazing well immediately after you run it. What problems is AskYourDatabase solving and how is that benefiting you?

In our agency we manage several platforms for our clients, and in most cases, they all have a MySQL database which requires a significant workload for each of them, especially for old platforms where databases are not optimized.

"Excellent, effective, performatic, and easy-to-use."

What do you like best about AskYourDatabase?

I could setup AskYourDatabase in few minutes, and even with few configuration, it was able to do awesome chats about the business domain. Also, it learns fast and gives the answers in a very intuitive approach. For files, when they are too large, it gives the option to open in a popup and/or download. It's for sure a very good software for connecting databases to gen-AI chats. Also it has good support and is easy to integrate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Backend functionality without backend programming"

What do you like best about AskYourDatabase?

I was able to start asking my database questions within a few minutes thanks to the easy of implementation. I am using a SQL Server database and the bot was able to understand my tables after a few rounds of "this is the table for...", "this table contains the lookup for...".

There are a few features I haven't played around with. One of those is dashboards on their website. I did watch the tutorial on creating dashboards and it seems pretty straight forward.

Overall, this is a slick tool that answered a need of at-hoc reports for my application. I use it weekly to send my client reports of their data. Customer support has always answed my questions quickly.

If you are looking for a data reporting tool without needing to intergrate or build a back-end, this is the tool for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AskYourDatabase?

The GUI is basic, but easy to use. There is a slight learning curve to deploy a stand-alone app using Vercel. It took me a few tries but I got it working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AskYourDatabase?

I have spent a couple of hours playing with AskYourDatabase and so far I am super impressed. I suggest you play around with the sample databases to get a good feel for its capabilities before connecting your own database . "Extremely Useful to Talk to my Database"

What do you like best about AskYourDatabase?

This has made accessing my database easy. This connects to my DB by using the connection string instead of by API, making integration simple. AskMyDatabase makes a query as easy as typing a question in natural language. I can basically talk to my database and obstract whatever data I need. It will transcibe your written command to SQL in a separate box. This allows me to check the query for accuracy. Then I can visualize it as charts or in tables, and then download the datat in CSV format. The tables and graphs are better than I have seen in similar programs that I own. AI will even adjust and customize the graphs appearance per your command. Service has been quick and helpful the few times I have contacted support. I would recommend AskMyDatabase. What do you dislike about AskYourDatabase?

I would like to see it query Google Sheets, and Excel. It would also expand the tool, if I could access a db by API as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This helps me gather and analyze specific production reports that need to be filed quarterly with my local regulatory agency. I am able to extract specific data, from a large database, with a simple written command, with no coding experience, and then export it to a CSV spreadsheet. What do you like best about AskYourDatabase?

I wanted to see how AskYourDatabase would fare with my queries primarily based on pattern-matching on my notes and some text material, and Woo-hoo! Now, I have an attribute and schema-aware information retrieval engine that returns data based on my SQL queries while actively enriching it. The notes make much more sense as the retrieval process now accounts for additional aspects, such as sequences, logic of organisation, and running threads, and not just spit out static content as is—loving it!
