Rules help automate the project management so I can spend more time finishing tasks and less time managing the project settings. The addition of AI logic within rules has supercharged our projects and workflows and enabled automated features that were previously manual saving our staff a considerable amount of time.

The rollout of Work Week so tasks don't assign on the weekends have been great. Asana is constantly improving, not staying stagnant, and listening to it's user base.

When we create a task, a project, a rule in Asana, it's high speed, we don't have to worry about frequent outages like other tools. And when there was a recent outage of another outside tool that impacted Asana, the Asana app works on a computer without a wifi signal, so we could all keep working and when it was reconnected, boom, we were all set. We moved to an Enterprise plan a couple of years ago and not long after, they added another Enterprise plan and some of the items we'd joined for moved up into that higher bracket. I wish there was more availability in our legacy Enterprise plan for some security settings and app settings.

Asana is an extremely user-friendly application that is perfect for organizing and breaking down tasks. I use Asana both in my personal and work life. At home, my partner and I easily make tasks for each other which holds us accountable and allows us space to provide all of the details without rely on info-dumping to each other and remembering. At work, I have many duties that repeat at regular intervals and involve multiple steps, so making use of the recurring and subtask features has saved me so much time, effort, and energy.

I'm aware of many integrations, though I don't personally utilize them. There have been only a few times I've ever seen Asana be "down" and most of those were datacenter-related rather than on Asana's end.

Purchasing at least the first tier is essential for access to custom fields and rules for automation. The price is well worth the amount of brainpower those will save you.

Between Asana's official help articles and community forums, I have been able to accomplish much of what I'd hoped to and more.

I really like that with Asana, everything or at least much of what I'm working on is visibly seen amongst the team. The ability to submit travel requests and request certificates of insurance is convenient. I can create projects where team members have access to forms and provide the information I need, which is really helpful. Asana assigning tasks instead of someone sending a Slack message is great, as it prevents me from forgetting tasks later. It increases my visibility and accountability for tasks I'm working on. I appreciate Asana's seamless integration with the cloud and how that makes my job easier. I'm also fond of how Asana's rules and automations might eventually help me with tasks like sending invoices when a contract is signed. I find it quite user-friendly; it only took a couple of days for me to feel comfortable with the system despite not being involved in the setup, which speaks volumes about its ease of use. I find it hard to find tasks using the search function and it's easy to lose track of tasks. If the overall organization isn't onboard with a cohesive structure on how Asana is used, then it can become a dumping ground for tasks and to-do's and is hard to keep organized. I use Asana for my nonprofit grant management, and it helps me organize everything in one place. It's great for working remotely with my colleague, allowing us to notify each other of different projects and deadlines easily. I find Asana very useful, especially for keeping track of various aspects of my busy schedule in aviation advisory. The way Asana allows me to compartmentalize things using sections and tasks is incredibly helpful, making it easy to follow each step of complex projects like setting up airlines. I think Asana AI could improve by providing realistic dates for completing tasks, especially in aviation where things don't always happen in a logical sequence or within planned time frames. This would be particularly helpful given the bureaucratic pace of some regulatory environments. Also, I find setting up Asana quite complicated if you're not familiar with it. It's not for the faint-hearted; you really need somebody's help to set it up, if you want to use it effectively.
