## Asana Reviews
  ### 1. Streamlined Task Management with Subtask Visibility Needs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shifra T. | Laboratory Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like using Asana for checklists for work and I'm learning how to use it to improve group projects. It helps keep me on track by seeing all tasks in one place so I don't forget them. I like the interface and how simple it looks on the homepage. There's not as much visual clutter, and I can see all my tasks in one place.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I wish the subtasks would be visible beneath the main tasks on the homepage - but maybe there is a way to change that that I am not aware of. It's a bit hard to know where to start. I really do not like the use of AI wherever possible, so I am not crazy about all of the AI features.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps keep me on track with tasks by showing them all in one place, so I don't forget. The interface is simple with less visual clutter, making it easy to see all my tasks.

  ### 2. User-Friendly Asana That Makes Even Mundane Tasks Fun

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sheri I. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana is very user friendly and offers tutorials on how to structure it to best fit your needs. It's integration with other programs like Gmail is very helpful. Also, the "delight" feature is one of my teams' favorite things about the platform. It makes checking off even the most mundane tasks fun and rewarding!

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

There are so many features that it takes a time investment in the tutorials to really be able to use it to it's fullest potential, a goal I have not yet reached. I don't necessarily dislike this, it is just an investment in time that has to be made to get the most from the platform.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping my team organize project management to help keep everyone on the same page. It assists greatly in communicating needs and deliverables and details for clarity.

  ### 3. Business collaboration and technical workflow management with Asana features.

My opinion of Asana's digital features and resources is very positive and favorable because it offers ideal business performance for managing all types of tasks and digital work processes, allowing you to establish a professional collaboration space that is extremely useful for business.

I can also say that Asana is a very useful business system because it allows you to visualize the progress of all your projects and work goals, facilitating the organization and simplification of all your professional operations.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think Asana is a system that stands out for its quality and business usefulness, I have no negative comments about the technical performance of all its features.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a user of Asana's digital tools and features, I have managed to improve the management of all my technical processes and tasks, actively collaborating with my business projects and improving the monitoring of all my business objectives and goals.

  ### 4. Powerful Features, Overwhelming at First

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Millie S. | Technical Trainer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like that Asana is an incredibly powerful tool with a wide range of features. I find the dashboards and reporting features helpful as they offer visibility and insights into the projects. Starting a project is fairly easy with Asana. In addition, there are a LOT of opportunities to learn about Asana and it's features. I'm trying to take advantage of that.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

There's a lot of power there and it can be a little overwhelming and tough to digest. Starting a project is fairly easy, however, the application of how to really use the project is a lot to take in.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using Asana to manage projects and hope to utilize the automation for repetitive tasks. I find the dashboards and reporting provide valuable visibility and insights into the projects.

  ### 5. Great for task management, increases visibility and collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Great task management software. It includes boards, timelines, calendars, a clear overview of statuses, and a list view for assignees, due dates, and priorities. Sections help keep everything organized, and subtasks make it easier to break down more complicated work. We use it all the time for project management.

Any updates to a task show up in real time. If a task is mentioned in another task, an automatic comment is added, which improves visibility and keeps context in one place. There are also workflows that help make repetitive tasks easier to manage.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Asana offers a complete task management experience. However, if you’re looking for a simple to-do list, it may not be the right fit for you.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to manage tasks and due dates across multiple projects. It keeps everything organized with lists, boards, and timelines, and it also lets me add subscribers to tasks so they’re notified whenever there are updates.

  ### 6. Fantastic Tool for Streamlined Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hannah F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana for project management at work, and it solves several problems for me, like streamlined communication and keeping systems organized. I appreciate the ability to document steps and milestones in projects effectively. I like how easy it is to use on the go, letting me attach photos and send notes even when I'm working on job sites. This really helps with seamless communication across teams. The initial setup was also easy, which made the transition smooth.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I don't like the difficulty of bulk adding new users to projects. I want to be able to select all necessary projects and add a user with edit ability easily.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to streamline communication, keep our systems organized, and document steps and milestones. It’s easy to use on the go, allowing us to attach photos and send notes, which is crucial for seamless communication across teams.

  ### 7. Streamlined Task Management, Needs Better Deadline Alerts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melanie W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana for work to set projects and tasks for staff members and monitor their progress using the Asana time tracker. I like that it makes it easy to create projects and set individual tasks, meaning we can track progress without missing crucial information and deadlines. I appreciate the overview feature, where I can see staff members' assigned tasks, helping me determine who can take on new tasks and who might need assistance. Transitioning from email communication, which was time-consuming and easy to miss details, to Asana has been beneficial.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Setting deadlines is difficult. Staff can often miss these, and I wish there was a feature to send a reminder to the person who created the task or project so they can follow up with the assignee.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to set projects and tasks for staff, and monitor progress easily. It helps me track progress and avoid missing crucial information and deadlines. Before Asana, we relied on emails, which was time-consuming and prone to overlooking key details.

  ### 8. Asana: A Game-Changer for Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana continues to be the backbone of our daily operations. It's helps us keep our projects on track.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It takes a lot of work to put the framework together. I have been interested in changing our templates but it is a big project and requires a great deal of time. I wonder if this has changed with their implementation of AI

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Asana, we struggled with scattered communication, unclear responsibilities, and a lack of visibility into project progress. Important details were often buried in email threads, tasks would fall through the cracks, and deadlines were missed simply due to lack of coordination.

Asana solves all of this by centralizing our work in one place. It gives us a clear structure for task assignments, timelines, and accountability. Everyone knows who’s doing what, by when—and how their work fits into the bigger picture. It eliminates guesswork, reduces duplicated efforts, and gives us real-time insight into how projects are tracking.

With Asana, we’ve moved from reactive to proactive project management, improving efficiency, accountability, and overall team collaboration.

  ### 9. Solid Project Management Tool for Cross-Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anastasia S. | Engineering Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

It’s a solid tool for project management, and it works really well for cross-team collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Nothing in particular stands out, it does its job. Like many other platforms, it has some limitations; however, if you need it as a project management tool, it’s quite good overall. The main downside for me would be the pricing for the highest security demands.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate the cross-team collaboration and the visibility into the work happening across the business.

  ### 10. Template Creation Makes Portfolio Projects Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** pam m . | Senior Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The ability to make templates and apply them to portfolio projects.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Somewhat difficult to design a team with several projects. Several extra steps even though there is a "button" to <Add Work>.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of portfolio items. An extra step for me, but keeps everything in order and I don't have to add everything to a MS Team.

  ### 11. Asana Became the Backbone of Our Workflow—Easy Setup and Deep Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akilah S. | Executive - Accounts, Transportation/Trucking/Railroad, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana quietly became the backbone of our entire workflow from day one the setup was straightforward, Integrations clicked into place without any IT help and the feature depth keeps surprising us even after months of daily use.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I haven’t found any downsides so far. Everything runs smoothly, and it fits well into my routine.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me manage multiple projects by organizing tasks setting clear deadlines and tracking progress in one place. I use it daily to assign work, monitor updates and collaborate with my team which reduces confusion and keeps everything on schedule. It especially helpful for avoiding missed deadlines and keeping communication streamlined.

  ### 12. AI-Enhanced, Streamlined Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ronnie G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like how goals are connected to projects and departments (teams) in Asana. I also like how AI makes it easy to create rules, summaries, and track projects. It saves me time when I need to write a summary and post status updates to the team as I can automatically tie it to the progress in connected projects. The goal setting/view for the company is an aspect I appreciate, and the AI assistance and agentic rule setting are better compared to other options. The initial setup was pretty simple.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think the AI could be more native to connected apps. Meaning that when I connect Google Drive, the AI could read those docs, or if I connected HubSpot, my sales CRM, it could read into those projects and progress and connect it to my company goals and give feedback on how to get things moving. So not just managing projects, but improving project velocity, targets, etc.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana streamlines communication between projects and cross-functional teams. I like how goals connect to projects, saving time with AI for rules, summaries, and tracking. It ties progress automatically to work in connected projects, aiding in status updates.

  ### 13. Effortless Team Collaboration and Organization with Asana

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darrell W. | Consultant, Construction, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really enjoy using Asana because it lets me dump all my thoughts and ideas in one place and then organize them into a clear plan. It makes working with team members easy, from sharing tasks to collaborating through comments on everyone’s own timeline. I also like the flexibility around notifications, whether they come through email or directly in the app.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

There can be a bit of a learning curve at first with all the features available. One thing I’d also like to see improved is more automatic backlinking between related items. Overall though, once you get familiar with it, Asana is very intuitive and works extremely well.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves the problem of scattered ideas, tasks, and communication. It gives me a single place to capture thoughts, organize work into systems, and collaborate with others without losing track of anything. The benefit is better focus, clearer priorities, and smoother teamwork with less back-and-forth.

  ### 14. Keeps Tasks Organized and On Track Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giovana L. | Graphic Designer, Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana makes it easy to organize tasks, projects, and deadlines in one place. It improves team visibility so everyone knows who is responsible for what. Progress tracking and due dates help teams stay aligned and on schedule. We utilize Asana every single day for every single project our team has, which says a lot about the program.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Asana can feel overwhelming due to the number of features and views available. New users often face a learning curve during onboarding. Managing notifications and settings can become time-consuming.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves the problem of disorganized work by centralizing tasks, deadlines, and ownership in one platform. This makes it easier to track progress, prioritize work, and collaborate with teammates without relying on scattered emails or messages. As a result, it helps me stay organized, reduces missed deadlines, and keeps projects moving forward efficiently.

  ### 15. Asana Makes Project Management Simple with Clear Task Organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Asma B. | Data Annotator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I appreciate it for its ease of use and clear task organization, which helps simplify project management and strengthens team collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

There isn’t a whole lot to dislike about Asana. That said, if I had to point out a couple of drawbacks, they would be the learning curve, which feels a bit steep when you’re just starting out, and the fact that some important features are locked behind the premium pricing tier.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps us manage multiple ongoing projects by bringing more structure and clarity to our workflows. It reduces the need for manual coordination, improves cross-team alignment, and helps ensure tasks don’t slip through the cracks.

  ### 16. My Asana Experience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reem C. | Leader Coach, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana provides a platform to help keep all tasks and projects in order so that people don't have to go to a bunch of different places to get updates for projects. Anyone can add to it, so it is easy to implement.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It isn't as easy to use and keep up with as I would like - I feel like I have to take a specific course to learn how to use it properly for projects that I lead or am on. If it wasn't for that, I would be using more on a day to day basis vs just to check off tasks that my managers have given me.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps ensure that there are clarity on priorities and projects, helps with communication around them, time management, team alignment and accountability.

  ### 17. Love Asana so much I have a personal account for personal projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I don't know how anyone works without Asana. I love the collaboration- the ability to assign tasks to multiple coworkers at a time, project organization, using it for event planning, the templates. I use it daily and would have an unproductive day at work without it.

We use the portfolio view for dept/high level overviews of larger goals and projects and its been working great. We've been learning about the AI features and while they seem new still, they look promising for project rule management.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

More customization features (such as renaming already made custom fields). The forms are very basic and work fine, but could be improved upon. Being able to filter for overdue tasks would be helpful. Portfolio view customization aimed at collaborative views would be great too.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps tasks not get lost in conversations or planning. Being able to have projects, sections, and tasks all organized helps me feel less anxiety about forgetting tasks.

  ### 18. Asana is a helpful tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana has recently evolved beyond simple task management into a more intelligent work platform. Its newest AI-driven features, no-code AI workflow builders, help automate processes, and generate insights directly within projects. Asana is great with having workshops and webinars to help with new launches and learning new skills.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Asana has made major strides in AI and project management, but there are still areas where it could improve. When using AI to build rules, it doesn't always work as intended, which can be frustrating. The free tier is very limited, with advanced features like reporting, automation, and timelines restricted to paid plans. The platform can also feel overwhelming when rules do not work as intended. Reporting tools, while improved, can be less intuitive than dedicated analytics platforms, and managing complex task dependencies may feel clunky for large-scale projects.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When collaborating on projects, the entire team can see where we are and what steps need to be taken next but also allows for assigning roles and visibility on what tasks need to be assigned

  ### 19. Easy to use for keeping track of project and task management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Asana?**

We use Asana on daily basis in our work and it´s a real life saver. I really love that you can develop dashboards, tasks and subtasks within Asana, assign each specific task to an individual, and you can see the real project of the tasks and projects that you are involved. I love the integration that it has with Slack so you can be updated and get notifications whenever something new happens in a project that you are working on it. I also really like the integration that it has with Google as e mails can be synced and you can relate the conversation with the task that you are working with so you can have a full overview of the projects.
I regularly use the Web version as I spend the most time working and switching in between tabs on Google Chrome. Asana is really reliable and throught all the time that I have used it I have never seen the service go down.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The UI is great and I love it, but it will be good to add some new features or to update the UI a bit to make it a bit more modern and less boring. Would be also great to have some AI intregration within Asana ,like using Chat GPT or any other AI to help to optimize tasks, like marking tasks complete when you add a comment that is related to a task or helping you to write comments within the UI.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana Saves us so much time as we can keep track of project and the status on those. As well we can keep track on daily tasks and see real time updates.

  ### 20. Asana Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tejasvi M. | Associate Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The new AI powered template automations and project summaries is helping alot with day to day work.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I’m loving it since I started using it. A lot has evolved already with time and their support is also fantastic.

**Recommendations to others considering Asana:**

It has a lot to do and will help out with project management, managing daily tasks, and many more.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) Quite easy for daily communication with clients/team and assigning action items/tasks to look into.
2) It fits in my project management journey right from initial planning to execution, so it's a great help and saves a lot of time.

  ### 21. Effortless Project Management with Versatile Views and Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kit M. | Director of Paid Media, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love the multiple views of projects and tasks, which allows people to use whatever method works best for them. The integrations are great, the ease of use is a no-brainer, and the simplicity of the platform is hard to beat.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

There are none that I can think of - I've used Asana for 8 years now and keep coming back!

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me keep track of what steps need to be taken for each project, as well as due dates, roadblocks, and recurrent tasks. This helps me and my team focus on the work that needs to get done, not the actual management of the work.

  ### 22. User-Friendly and Feature-Rich—A Seamless Addition to My Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shelby B. | Product Management Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love the user-friendliness of Asana. It's relatively simple to understand and use. The "rules" feature is also really nice as it can streamline certain aspects of my duties and what I need to finish in a timely manner. I also enjoy the calendar feature, since it lays out the timeline of certain projects. I really enjoy the template feature for projects too as it cuts down my time on creating new forms. It's great to integrate into my work day and I like that there is the feature to "email" asana to create a task from a certain email, it makes the incorporation and workflow so much easier to use. As someone who is new-ish to this software, I have greatly appreciated it's features and accessibility in my workday.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I would say that I dislike that you have to add templates to projects individually. There doesn't seem to be a way to add templates to multiple projects at once, which is only a small hindrance. For larger projects/portfolios, I wish there was a way to 'assign' those things to me so they don't slip off my radar.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps keep everything clean and organized in a simple way that benefits how I like to work. The customization of Asana is really cool since I can incorporate the processes into how I work. It can be easy to forget tasks if I don't input them somewhere, so creating a process in Asana with projects and portfolios has really helped me pace at work. I feel that I can reasonably accomplish more work and keep better track of it than if I wasn't using asana.

  ### 23. Great for Team Goal Tracking and Clear Progress Visibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Breanna C. | Administrative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The capacity to track goals with a team and easily see progress.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Completed tasks do not disappear from visibility on the project page.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me and my team stay on track and avoids forgetting about smaller items that can easily be overlooked.

  ### 24. A great ally for years in project management with an intuitive and user-friendly interface.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** César P. | Cofundador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like the interface, which is nice and easy to use. Additionally, it gives you complete visibility of the projects in general terms, but also in the details at the task level, responsible person, and due date.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It seems to me such a robust tool that I still haven't fully utilized it 100%. Also, I feel that there are more economical alternatives.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to manage my business projects, plan and execute plans, and also give clients visibility on the status of each project. Additionally, it is ideal for coordinating remote and hybrid teams and keeping everyone aligned with the progress.

  ### 25. Intuitive and Robust, But MCP Setup Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ala D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like that Asana is intuitive and easy to use. It's available everywhere, including on Mac, the web, mobile, and through extensions, which I find incredibly convenient. I can add tasks on the fly, dig deeper on my laptop, or send a task via Microsoft Teams. Asana has become an essential part of my work due to these features. I also appreciate that it's more robust than Trello without being overwhelming, making it a great tool for my needs.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Asana MCP is very hard to set up. I am unable to make use of it until now. Make documentation more accessible so people can troubleshoot.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to manage marketing tasks and projects, which helps in organizing work efficiently. It's intuitive and available on various platforms. I can add tasks easily and even send tasks via Microsoft Teams, making it essential for my work.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The features of Asana AI is so worth and helpful. It is designed to automate tasks, provide intelligent project insights, and create, summary, summarize work. Some of the features it includes - smart status updates, AI-powered fields, and "AI Teammates" for workflow automation are so helpful.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One of the main feature I expect is the native time tracking tool. A robust time-tracking feature introduced within the platform will make it a great tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Asana:**

Use it to believe it as its awesome

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can create task and keep updating the task and when the task gets updates, the notifications helps me. Overall with the visualizations the proeject management has become much easier

  ### 27. Easy to understand and increases productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chael M. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love how it is a one-stop-shop to delegate tasks and communicate creative to the rest of the team.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The only thing I would ask to improve is the ease of pre-set sections. When I have a Section in Q1, I want to be able to better duplicate all of the tasks and subtasks for Q2 for projects that repeat exactly the same throughout the year, with all the assignees and due date cadences.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to holistically see as a team what needs to get done by what date, so that we are all able to provide better updates to each other in our team meetings. It's more efficient.

  ### 28. A Great Solution for Organizing Work

**What do you like best about Asana?**

As a UX/UI professional, what I appreciate most about Asana is how well it keeps complex projects organized. It lets me manage design tasks, track and incorporate feedback, collaborate smoothly with developers and stakeholders, and keep an eye on project timelines—all without losing sight of priorities or deadlines.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One thing I dislike about Asana is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming when managing large projects with many tasks, subtasks, and custom fields.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps solve project coordination and visibility challenges. As a UX/UI designer, I often work with multiple stakeholders, feedback cycles, and deadlines. Asana keeps requirements, tasks, approvals, and timelines organized

  ### 29. Easy Team Progress Tracking With Helpful Timelines and Due-Date Reminders

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jyotsna S. | Accounts Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really like how easy it is to track progress across teams. You can instantly see what’s done, what’s stuck, and what needs attention. The timeline and due-date reminders also help me stay on schedule without having to constantly follow up.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The notification system can get noisy if it isn’t configured properly. When that happens, it’s easy to miss important updates because they get buried among less relevant alerts.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps us coordinate more smoothly with the operations and support teams. Tasks, approvals, and deadlines are clearly visible, which cuts down on follow-ups. Month-end closures are easier because responsibilities are clearly assigned. I always know who is working on what, and when it will be completed.

  ### 30. Engaging Task Manager with a Slight Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana for daily task management, and it's easier to get all my tasks in one place, collaborate with people on my team, and get updates from editors in real time. I really enjoy the satisfaction of completing a task and watching a unicorn avatar flash through the screen. I like the different views for looking at my tasks and the data points that show my team's progress, which are pretty useful. With the dashboard, I can see the progress of how many articles I have worked on this month, the goals I've met, and the tasks that are still in the pipeline. The initial setup was also pretty quick.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

There's a slight learning curve trying to get used to all the features.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to get all my tasks in one place, collaborate with my team, receive real-time updates, and add subtasks for workflow stages.

  ### 31. Versatile and Customizable for Streamlined Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alicia H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really like how versatile and customizable Asana is with the custom fields, which allow me to get to grips with the information I'm inputting and gain new insights that way. I also like the different views, like the Kanban board and Timeline view. The custom fields are really useful because I can categorize information in a way that makes sense to me and is useful to me. Using the field library, all the teams can maintain consistency with their projects, and data can be compared across projects or teams more easily. The Kanban board offers a very simple but effective way to view my tasks and work out project progress. The Timeline view gives me an overview of what's coming up and what potential clashes or blockers there are.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Managing users/licenses can be confusing since invited members are part of the user list but not counted in the remaining licenses. I would like a custom date field that can have a range. Also, more variations/possibilities for rules that don't use AI Studio would be good. Additionally, there was some confusion around licensing during the initial setup due to the plan we are on.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me manage tasks all in one place, avoiding the hassle of switching between Outlook, OneNote, and Teams. It keeps me accountable with due dates, facilitates collaboration, and organizes project-related conversations, making information easier to find and manage.

  ### 32. Excellent Organization Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Weikianos D. | Software Asset Management, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like best about Asana is how it keeps all my tasks and projects organized in one place. I appreciate the clarity it provides on deadlines, priorities, and responsibilities, which helps me stay on track and manage my workload efficiently. I also like the collaboration features, since it makes communicating and coordinating with team members much easier.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One thing I find challenging about Asana is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming when there are a large number of tasks or projects, making it harder to quickly find what’s most important. Additionally, some features, like advanced reporting or automation, can be a bit complex to set up, which may require extra time or guidance.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps solve the problem of keeping track of tasks, projects, and team collaboration in one centralized platform. It reduces confusion about responsibilities, deadlines, and project status by providing clear visibility into what needs to be done, who is responsible, and when it’s due. This benefits me by saving time, improving organization, and ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks. It also makes communication with team members more efficient, since updates and progress are tracked directly in the platform rather than scattered across emails or chat.

  ### 33. Efficient Task Management, but Overwhelming Notifications

**Reviewed by:** Simone M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like the 'My Tasks' feature because it helps me start each day by clearly seeing what work is outstanding, understanding what the deadlines are, and knowing what's expected of me. I also find the AI capabilities for summarizing projects quite interesting as it saves me time by providing a high-level overview without needing to sort through all the individual tasks.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Just a lot of notifications, but I just learned on the training how to manage those notifications.

**Reviewed by:** Kayley M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

I find multi-homing projects to multiple boards very helpful for managing multiple work teams across our fully remote setup. The templates and dynamic fields ensure consistent formatting, and the high-level dashboards are great for providing visibility into progress. These features allow our team to collaborate across multiple projects simultaneously, with each domain expert owning their workflow. The team dashboard helps us track project and goal progress at a high level, which is incredibly useful to share with leadership. We've connected our Asana instance with Claude Desktop, which has unlocked a lot of productivity for us.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Some of the features can be overwhelming if you're using it for simple task tracking. Would also love a feature where I can start-stop a timer on a specific task so I can get reporting on how my time is spent

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have my hands in many different functions at my company, all with competing priorities. Both project based initiatives as well as ad-hoc tasks that are hard to keep track of. Asana gives me a quick and easy way to track both of these sides of my work, and not lose anything to slack messages and emails

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I appreciate how Asana provides a central location for my team to track projects and tasks, especially when they are dependent on different individuals. I really like how the initial welcome to Asana training had me create my own project within Asana to track the rest of my training. This approach helps me get to know how to use Asana with hands-on work immediately, rather than just looking at slide decks or videos.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Brand new to Asana. Nothing to report at this time.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana provides a central location for my team to track projects and individual tasks. The hands-on training helped me learn the tool effectively by creating my own project for training.

I also like the recent feature of marking notes with thumbs up this helps also when many comments are in a task and you are going through them to ensure nothing is being missed. For this the thumbs up feature helps a lot.
Benefits for the team: More organized way of working
Board feature is great as well and that finally can switch between list and board view
It also allows me to create new project templates that the whole team can use and update.
I love that tasks can be tagged under various projects as this helps especially when coordinating projects that you can tag the most important tasks to be monitored in a separate project that not everybody has access to.
Nice is also the comment only feature that can be set and the custom fields are really helpful too.

Asana constantly works on further improving their tool, they also listen to what features users would love to have. Literally every week there are news about new things being implemented :)

I can really recommend Asana for everybody, whether you are an individual that just needs to organize some things like shopping list or other kinds of to-do-lists or small and also big teams.
I am using Asana every day on my desktop and phone.

Asana helps me keep track of multiple projects without losing sight of deadlines, which is a huge relief in busy periods. ### 50. Streamlines Ministry Projects with Templates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love the templates that I'm able to create and then relaunch every year. Since our ministry year looks the same more or less, having a template that we can use year to year is really helpful. It saves me a lot of time, as I'm able to use the template to build out the projects and pre-assign due dates and assignees. This just saves us an incredible amount of time.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I'm not able to use as many of the automated workflows as I'd like to, or maybe I just don't understand it. It could be helpful to have more suggestions or a way to interact easier to figure out if we could turn some of our projects or tasks into automations. Also, we didn't love how it was integrated with Microsoft or Outlook. It was easy to set up, but to understand, it's taken us a little while.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to organize workflows for our church ministry, saving time by assigning tasks during meetings and avoiding sticky notes. It helps streamline project setup using reusable templates, making our processes efficient.
