## Artlist Reviews
  ### 1. Extremely frustrating refund experience — beware of the “download” loophole

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam A. | Field Sales Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

It’s very difficult to use and not intuitive at all. The interface doesn’t feel user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

I signed up for Artlist.io because I wanted to properly test the platform and see if it would be a good fit. I paid for the $149 plan because I wanted the full experience, and I understood there was a 14-day refund window.

After using it, I found the platform difficult and frustrating to navigate, so I canceled only 3 days later.

During that short trial period, I downloaded a 5-second video clip because I thought that was part of how you were supposed to test and use the platform. I was not trying to exploit the service, build a project, or take advantage of their content. I was simply trying to understand how the platform worked.

Now Artlist is telling me that because I downloaded that tiny 5-second clip, my refund is void.

That feels incredibly misleading and unfair. If downloading even one small clip cancels your right to a refund, that should be made extremely clear before purchase and before downloading anything. A trial/refund window should allow a customer to actually evaluate the product. Otherwise, the refund policy feels more like a trap than a real customer-friendly guarantee.

I paid $149, canceled after only 3 days, and still was denied a refund over a 5-second download. That is not a good customer experience.

I would strongly caution anyone considering Artlist.io to read the refund terms very carefully before signing up, especially if you plan to test the platform by downloading anything. In my opinion, this refund policy is unreasonable and creates a very poor first impression.

  ### 2. Empowers Video Creation, But Pricing Needs Adjustment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego R. | Integrated Marketing Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

I like that I can choose and set up my prompts to get my videos. It's particularly useful for me as I need to create specific clips to build regular weekly videos. The initial setup of Artlist was pretty easy too, which I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

I think options are expensive, they should adjust the pricing on platforms, as some are charging 10% or more of total credits for a 5s clip.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Artlist consolidates all AI video generation platforms into one, making it easier for me to create specific clips needed for regular weekly videos.

  ### 3. Billing Issues and Poor Service

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adriano P.

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

Nothing

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

I don't use Artlist, but a plan was activated without my authorization. I am frustrated because, in addition to an unauthorized charge that went through, they tried to charge me other considerable amounts, which made me feel scammed. Despite contacting customer support, I have not been able to get a refund and they continue to deny it. I find their indifference unacceptable.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is not solving anything

  ### 4. No Refund, Very expensive, no direct support

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmed M. | Engineer, Entertainment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

Good quality of AI images and videos, UI is simple and easy to use

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

I subscribed to this AI video generation tool expecting a premium experience, but what I got was a frustrating and overpriced disappointment.

They explicitly advertise the “MAX” plan as offering unlimited access, but what they don’t tell you — until after you’ve paid — is that it includes no actual generation credits. That's right: you’re sold the idea of unlimited AI generation, but when you try to generate anything, you’re forced to buy credits separately. This is blatantly misleading marketing, and it feels intentionally deceptive.

To test things out, I looked into the “PRO” plan, which includes 120,000 credits. Sounds generous — until you find out that just one 20-second video (not even in HD) costs around 1,000 credits or more. That means your included credits disappear fast — and the results aren’t even that impressive for the price.

When I contacted support to request a refund after discovering how restricted and expensive everything actually was, they refused — even though I hadn’t used the MAX plan’s fake “unlimited” features. Their support team was dismissive and completely unhelpful, repeating refund policy lines without addressing the core issue.

To summarize:

The “MAX” plan does not include generation credits

They promote it as unlimited, but it’s not usable without buying extra credits

The credit consumption is steep, even for short, low-resolution clips

They refuse refunds, even if you haven’t used the service

I strongly recommend avoiding this platform unless they become more transparent and honest with their pricing. There are other AI video tools out there that are far more fair, functional, and respectful of users.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

AI Image and video generation

  ### 5. Deliberately Sneaky

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua H. | Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

They seem to have a large selection of musical tracks to use on projects.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

From my perspective, these guys are deliberately sneaky. I must have subscribed to their service for a project at one point, but because they never send a monthly invoice, I didn't realize that I was subscribed to them for over 2 years. My daughter is an artist and is always using my credit card to purchase art supplies so I evidently overlooked their monthly charge as some art supplies that my daughter purchased, but now I finally noticed the trend and confirmed that this isn't her's. I think these guys don't email an invoice like every other reputable online service so that they can fly under the radar and collect monthly subscription fees for way longer from people like me. But now that I realize they've collected over $500 from me over more than 2 years for a service that I never used (maybe I signed up for a "Free" trial at some point but I don't recognize the song their service shows I downloaded), I feel annoyed for not noticing that this was a subscription sooner, but I also think these guys deliberately never emailed me so as to not draw attention to the subscription. So now I feel frustrated and completely ripped off.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They didn't solve any problems for me. They only took my money without ever sending me a renewal notice or a monthly invoice of any kind.

  ### 6. Using this service lead to a Copyright Claim

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lo R. | Content Creator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

There's not a lot of good I can say about this company. There's a lot on the site but good luck trying to use any of it.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

I used their music in a video I worked for DAYS on only to get a copyright claim for using their music. I can't seem to get it resolved because you don't ever talk to a person. The "helpbot" is inadequately named as it is not helpful. I still have a claim and now instead, I'm editing all the audio in my video adding hours more to my work time.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They're not solving problems. That IS the problem. They are creating problems.

  ### 7. The Best Combination of High Quality Stock Footage and Sound

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan M. | Product Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

We needed a solution for our video projects that would provide both stock footage and music/sound licensing. Artlist provides both of these with an easy-to-use interface and the best mix of quality.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

If you only need music licensing, there are other options out there that might have slightly more options and quality sound, but for us, having a single membership at a reasonable price to license both video and audio was most important and Artlist gave the best combination.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stock music and stock video footage in one package

  ### 8. A service that can cost you far more than money... Delay, reputation, social media engagement...

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** nil h. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2023

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

Things started to go really wrong when we received a claim on Meta after using a song of the catalog.

Wait...

A claim for a song we pay for ?!

We were making a video for a client, we had a release date schedule, and planned everything around it. As you all know editing a video takes time, takes money...
Once the edit finished, after posting the video we received a claim and the video got removed from social medias...

We wrote to Artlist, to the claim owner too, to the different social medias, did everything we could providing every pieces to proof we have the license and that we are paying for that. But....

They told us a first time to repost it, which we did, this time the video got removed right away and we received a warning.

No need to tell you that we and our client, doing the collaborative post saw a very remarkable fall on our engagement rate after this issue.
Yes, we did not lost only time and money, we lost engagement on our account, and our client too... Try to explain your client it is not your fault... Yeah ... Big problem for our business.

What now ? Hmmm it has been a month and half at least, and finally they got back to us again just telling us that this case can't be fixed, that they are very sorry but that they can't explain why. They can't solve the claim. A problem with the artist? Of what type ? We have no idea. All we know is that if we are picking artlist, it is to avoid this kind of problems. So... Is it worth it ?
Artlist made a very little offer to cover the damage, they offer us 4 months of an extra service we don't even need.
It is a big loss for us. And this is really bad to see how they value their clients.

Can I recommend this service now ?
Hmmm I let you decide. Depends how much you value your own business as this service can be really destructive.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

Not getting what I am paying for after waisting a lot of time and money on the edit of a video.
They should really make sure there is no claim on songs before selling us their licenses.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When it works artlist provides a good range of songs. But not being able to know if using them will not be a problem on the long haul makes it completely unreliable. So .. unusable ?!...

  ### 9. Copyright violation on Tiktok

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roland O. | Video maker, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

Number of music available on the website

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

No support contact. No answer when there is a problem.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Almost all music is in violation of copyright on Tiktok in particular.
If you don't want to have a legal problem, I advise you not to subscribe.
There is no assistance, no support.
I wanted to be reimbursed, in France there are laws that protect the consumer, but no response from them.
Above all, don't subscribe, most of their music violates copyrights because apparently they are copies of known pieces of music.

  ### 10. They misrepresent their pricing plans.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

Nothing. Their subscriptions are shady and their customer service is terrible.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

It appeared that I was paying for a $25 plan that explicitly said monthly and price per month. They charged $300 for an entire year and refuse to refund me for the rest of the year because I downloaded one song. They are making me pay $300 for one song and will not assist me or be fair in how they present their service.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None.

  ### 11. Artlist.io - licensed music made simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael B. | Video Editor / Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

I love that when I download a song from Artlist.io, I will not be bombarded with copyright notices on YouTube as I have been with other services. One of the most frustrating things about licensing music is having to prove time and time again that, yes, I do have permission to use this music. Artlist does a great job of ensuring I don't have to spend time fighting to prove it.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

If there was one thing to dislike about Artlist, it's that there is so much good music that it can be difficult finding the perfect song I want to use! But I feel like that's a good problem to have.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Artlist solves a lot of problems by making it simple to download music that I find on their website. Since it's subscription based, we have unlimited downloads, and while that can be overwhelming, the music is great quality and worth the time it takes to find the right song.

  ### 12. Artlist Really Delivers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg D. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

What I like best about Artlist is the quality of the audio clips. There are lots of places where creators can get free music to use in their content, but free music usually equals poor quality music. Artlist offers a huge selection of tracks by top artists in a massive variety of styles.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

What I dislike about Artlist is that downloading clips can be cumbersome. I have to receive an email and then respond to it in order to get download access. I already pay for the platform. I already have a login. Make it super easy for me to download.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Artlist solves the problem of finding top quality audio for my Facebook Ads, presentations, websites, and other content. By making this easier, Artlist has significantly sped up my workflow allowing me to publish ads faster for my clients.

  ### 13. Best Stock Music Licensing Terms online!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tarunabh D. | Film Direction and Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

I've experimented with a variety of royalty-free stock music subscription services, and Artlist is by far the best, mainly because of its generous and expansive commercial usage license system. No other stock music service allows for unlimited commercial use under a single license. To put it another way, once you license a song and download it while your membership is active, you can use it in an unlimited number of commercial projects without fear of the license expiring or copyright infringement, even when the music is used in theatrical release films or on OTT platforms. As long as the music is being used in a video project, you can rest assured that the Artlist license terms will safeguard your content from future copyright claims!

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

Artlist's subscription costs are not among the most affordable on the market, and the procedure of licensing and downloading each music is extremely time-consuming and inconvenient. Artlist has already set a daily limit of 40 licensed downloads. However, in addition to the download restriction, Artlist has imposed a number of unnecessary additional procedures for downloading each music, which leads to a significant waste of time and energy that could have been spent on more important duties. Apart from the aforementioned disadvantage, Artlist is pretty awesome!

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a filmmaker, I have used huge number of music tracks licensed from Artlist in my final film projects and they have added a new dimension of professional sounding enthralling musical background scores to all my film projects. Artlist offers a variety of musical tracks under various categories that pretty much covers all aspects of video projects. My particular favorites are the cinematic and acoustic songwriter categories. I highly recommend Artlist subscription for anyone who wants to use quality music for their professional and commercial video projects, without worrying about copyright strikes

  ### 14. Artlist new form of music license for videos

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nelson L. | Graphic designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

I like the truth, originality and the adventure of knowing such wonderful music.

It is an excellent tool for virtual course music, I use it mainly for the variety and very good sounds they have.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

Well, as every application pays, I understand the benefit it is for the people who create content, however I cannot afford to buy their songs, I would like a more accessible price for individuals and not as much as an investment of a company to put their music in the background with a "high" cost, for my pocket.

**Recommendations to others considering Artlist:**

I would recommend that you give it a try, take the free trial and see the truth and the things you can create will only be limited by your imagination.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems that it solves is to give a space to the creators of audiovisual content, if the audio tracks are beautiful and very inspiring, it is a way to repay all that effort through this service.

The benefits are varied and can help a small creator to a creator of great content with original and very varied music.

  ### 15. Easily and Inexpensively get music for your films!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben P. | Senior Client Success Manager / Head of Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

Both the pricing and usability of the website are incredibly affordable and simple to use. When one's making a video, you need ready access to lots of different options, which Artlist does indeed make very simple.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

I wish from time to time, that they had more expansive music options & sometimes the music they have isn't the greatest quality as compared to something like MusicBed for instance.

**Recommendations to others considering Artlist:**

For sure, try out other sources for music - but know up front that it's a brilliant website you can't go wrong with - especially with their subscription-based service,

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Effectively finding really great music for videos, recommending to clients different songs to use based on the requests for their videos & making creative choices for what can be in general, boring videos.

  ### 16. Affordable option for stock music

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will H. | Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

I like the annual subscription price for the value and the amount of music that's available at that price. I also like that the licenses are already worked out, so it's not something I have to worry about.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

While there's a lot of search options and filters, I often find myself endlessly scrolling through music trying to find the best clips for my projects. That's not necessarily an indictment on the platform, but maybe there's another way to help a user select music.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I make video clips for a few of my clients, and Artlist provides a library of background music I can use for those clips — all at one annual cost instead of buying them one at a time.

  ### 17. It’s a big library of best music and sfx

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SHEHAB H. | Digital Media Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

I love using Artlist because it’s providing a lot of outstanding music with many cool styles like "Cinematic, Dramatic, Uplifting" and more... and I like the ease of the filtration of music very easy and quick... I can find what I need very quickly without much effort and it’s very easy to

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

Unfortunately, Sometimes I search for Arabic music tracks with Arabin instruments Like "Oud or Nay" but I couldn't find many options of this style of music on Artlist

**Recommendations to others considering Artlist:**

If you are a content creator, video editor, or even a music lover I recommend you to try Artlist because you will find a lot of many styles of music that you will love to listen to and use

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Artlist I can save my time and my effort because I can find all I need in one place with many styles of music and SFX with daily updating at a very good price... For me, as a content creator or as a big music lover I can say Artlist is one of my best music websites

  ### 18. Prenium Sounds and Excellent Quality Music

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Esther M. | Multimedia Designer and Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

Something that differentiates Artlist from any other music library is definitely how you can easily tell that their music is premium. It doesn't sound so much cliche as other stock music providers. There's also less chance for another content creator to use the same exact music as yours since their don't have yet the market share when it comes to stock music.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

The annual price. It is pretty expensive compare to the competition and I wonder if it is one of the reasons why they are not in the top 3 choices yet. If they offer the cheaper option or month-to-month option they will definitely attract more people.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Artlist is definitely for any content creator looking for premium music for their videos either on YouTube or other social media platforms. It is also great if you are an independent wedding or corporate cinematographer.

  ### 19. Great source of music

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca L. | Senior Motion Graphics Designer , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

I like how much variety there is in the music selections. Also, searching for songs is very intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

I don't have any specific dislikes. I'd just love to hear more songs without vocals.

**Recommendations to others considering Artlist:**

I'd take your time to explore all that the site has to offer.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to find songs to use for UA for mobile games. It's a time saver and saves money.

  ### 20. Quality Music, Easy Licensing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick M. | Director of Photography, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

For starters, Artlist has a great catalog of music to choose from. The licensing is simple too... it covers EVERYTHING, including broadcast. This alone makes it very accessible for most budgets

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

The wider accessibility also means a higher likelihood that you'll hear your song on someone else's project. In my experience of making commercials and social content, I've come across one of the songs we chose on up to 3 different commercials on Hulu.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been able to move quicker on projects while keeping up the creative standard by using Artlist as our stock music provider.

  ### 21. Great value and incredible library, but has a bit of room for improvement.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

I really like the music selection. There are so many audio tracks to choose from, and same goes for the SFX library.
I also really like how the license covers nearly everything you'd need it for AND costs less than the service I previously used while offering that.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

The menus are a bit finicky and difficult to navigate through, and I do wish there was an option to download stems.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been using Artlist personally for projects and for client work, and it's been incredible!
I just recently found out about the playlists so it's even better.

  ### 22. Quality music for all types of projects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

There is a great song selection for many different types of projects or styles. The quality of the music is that of more expensive sites but at a fraction of the cost through the subscription service. I rarely look anywhere else for music.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

Sometimes it is hard to narrow down your search to exclude songs. But for the most part organization and curation of the music is there.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have to look through multiple royalty-free song sites to find the songs we were looking for, and those songs were often way outside of our client's price range. With Artlist we are finding quality songs reasonably quickly, and it is much cheaper than alternative options, especially when we have to use multiple songs for a video.

  ### 23. Works Great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

Artlist has tons of options for stock music that we use behind compelling, character-driven digital storytelling. Our subscription is easy to manage and our videos never get flagged or removed.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

As with any stock website, you usually need more than one subscription when you're looking for content that's very specific. We sometimes use other platforms but we get about 90% of our stock music from Artlist.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us solve the problem of finding the appropriate stock songs for video projects. Benefits include streamlined song selection process to help us utilize our time efficiently.

  ### 24. Affordable Music for Your Needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan M. | Associate Director of Video Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

Artlist offers a large variety of music from all different types of genres. It has an easy-to-use system that makes the music selection process a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

Sometimes the music selection on Artlist can feel very similar to everything else that is already there.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is not always feasible to create your music for a project, and Artlist provides an affordable and easy-to-use system that can solve this problem.

  ### 25. A Solid Source for Stock Music

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David B. | Director of Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

I like the subscription model and the wide variety of styles of music from which to choose.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

A lot of the songs tend to sound similar and you start to recognize them in commercials/videos.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was finding the right music to accompany a video and convey the right mood for viewers.

  ### 26. Great selection and great quality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

Great menus and categories to find what you're looking for. Quality is great for the majority of the selections

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

Price. More granular filters would help. Most everything else is great though, can't complain too much.

**Recommendations to others considering Artlist:**

Great price and selection. You won't find many competitors with the selection and price combo

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Categories could use some work. There are some genres missing, and mood-based categories would be super helpful.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Artlist works seemlessly with our video projects.

  ### 28. A Variety of Music for a Variety of Uses

**Reviewed by:** Henry B. | Digital Media Services: Digital Media Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

I like that I can search for music based on mood, instrument, and purpose/genre. This has been very helpful when creating a video with fun, relevant music - and I can still meet my deadline.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

While the setup has been helpful after practice, I initially found the tools not very user-friendly. It takes time to learn to use quickly.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Artlist has provided me with the ability to create a professional video that looks good and sounds good too.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

There are too many songs to pick from which makes it tricky finding the right one at times.

I use artlist to find background music regularly for the videos I create for work.

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

UI/UX is slick, comfortable and straightforward to use.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

Selection doesn't seem as significant as other apps in this category, but at the same time - They seem to be growing at a decent rate.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily find licensed music for our promotional videos, without needing to worry about the licenses.

  ### 31. Fantastic Royalty Free Music

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Artlist?**

I really like the wide selection of music that they offer that I can then use for my projects.

**What do you dislike about Artlist?**

I do wish they provided "music stems" like Epidemic Sound. Basically, just all the pieces of the song are isolated so you can play around with it more.

**What problems is Artlist solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been a great tool to add that extra element to my videos. The wide selection helps us reinforce whatever mood we are going for.
