ArtifactSend is a free DocSend alternative for sharing documents with tracking. Share a PDF, pitch deck, Word, PowerPoint or Excel file, an HTML page or a Claude artifact as a private link, and see who opened it, how far they read and how long they spent on each page, slide or section. All of this is free, with unlimited documents, links, readers and team members. It includes email gates with a 6-digit verification code or Google sign-in, allow lists for emails and company domains, a separate link for each person, link expiry, watermarks with the reader's email, NDAs readers accept before viewing, and data rooms with folders and per-document reports. Update a document and readers see the new version behind the same link. ArtifactSend also works inside Claude and ChatGPT through its MCP server. Ask "who read the deck I sent on Monday?" and get the answer from real reading data. The core product is free. Paid usage applies only when AI does work for you, from $0.005 per agent action after 20 free, and $0.05 per AI answer to a reader.
